Very professional service
The company has been very transparent and flexible when it came to starting the work. The entire process was very efficient. Starting from the initial consultation, the estimate and breakdown, planning the installation and then the professional and speedy fitting process which only took a couple of days. We will be recommending their services for sure.
Great experience from start to finish
Great experience from start to finish, great communication and everything explained in full, no pressure to sell you anything very helpful and quick to answer any questions, solars installed very quick and very professional, already saving money very happy 😊 thank you to ADDA for the smooth transition to solar
I had a really great experience with…
I had a really great experience with Sunsave from the very beginning. Obed did an excellent job walking me through the proposal 🙌 He took the time to explain both the positives and the negatives of going solar - no pressure, no hard‑sell, just clear and honest advice. Really appreciated that. 👍 Once I decided to move forward, I was passed over to Antonio for the installation stage. Again - fantastic! 💬 Great communication, patient with all my extra questions, and never pushy. The installation itself was spot on. The electrician did brilliant work - neat, tidy, and very pleasant to deal with. 👷♂️ The panel fitter also did an ace job - quick, efficient, and professional. ☀️🔧 Panels are now installed and everything is working well so far. Very happy customer - would definitely recommend Sunsave! 😄👏

Great company, great service
Every time I email or ring up, I get the answer. The politeness of the staff are fantastic when I ring I normally get the same person they answer. Hello with my name. Glad I took the time to do my research and pick this company. Mohammed is really good.
Sunsave has been an excellent way to…
Sunsave has been an excellent way to get into the solar panel without having to part with a lot up front. This makes life way easier to gain benefits early while also having a bit of piece of mind on repairs and replacements. The process has been almost completely seamless, with the few hitches taken care of very quickly.
Excellent service
Excellent service and everything was taken care of. Always on hand to answer any questions.
Sunsave Energy
I've just had my solar panels installed by Sunsave, the whole process was simple, from the initial quote to installation. The whole process explained thoroughly, the installation team explained the system well. The hardest was trying to get my tariff changed with British Gas
Look after the pennies and the Pounds will look after themselves!
You always hear horror stories when it comes to Solar Panels being installed on your house i.e. "you won't get much of a return", etc. I looked into solar power with a battery. I then reviewed it by research and going out of my way to find others with a battery and solar to see if the savings are real. Now if you structure your system efficiently (which Sunsave do for you) then the savings made over the contracts life time will outweigh the cost of electricity over the same period. However I didn't want to pay £7.5k up front. Well this is where Sunsave came in. They offered a system with a replacement battery and warranty on all products. Now it will be cheaper to pay the £7.5k up front however I didn't have that money to spend and just like getting a car on PCP I decided Sunsave was the only way I can install the system. I alrady see a benefit of the system. I would recommend investing if you want an electricity bill that is more resilient to inflation - always worth noting that every 10 years energy prices increase by 100%.

So far have been really impressed with the process . Our contact , Jack was clear and quick to respond to all our many and persistent questions. As he said it’s a long term relationship and it needs to work. So far so good
Great experience and customer service
Great experience and customer service
Sunsave - an amazing team!
As part of our research to go solar we included Sunsave due to the subscription model used in other countries in Europe. We were after a larger system and couldn't justify the initial outlay when all our other rennovation costs were over running. We particularly liked the end to end through life support which makes it a fit and forget system for the individual. The system is monitored and maintained and any issues resolved. The team from initial discussion and design all the way through to installation and aftercare have bee in amazing. It is like you become part of a family and not just a customer. Whilst the subscription service may not suit everyone it was right for us and we have seen a significant saving in our energy bills. Do your research but at least speak with the team and see what they can offer. This type of subscription is popular in many other countries and the Sunsave team delivered everything for us.
Solar Consultant Sue Gure
Sue Gure was excellent during our meeting because she was able to understand and work within my requirements/constraints for a Solar PV System.
SunSave great to work with
From initial enquiry I found SunSave to be very polite and supportive. Questions answered very quickly Team courteous and polite
Friendly
Friendly, Informative and knowledgable. No delays, no problems. easy to deal with and a pain free experience. I was recommended to use them, and will recommend to others. Install Guys were on time, chatty and positive. All around great experience.

Absolutely such a easy experience from start to instalation and the lads that come out were so respectfull of the property it was pleasure to have them on my property so easy to get on With
They made this so easy
They made this so easy to get done good install no problems done very quickly.
Great service from initial contact all the way throughout the process. Everything was explained to me & I was kept fully informed at every stage. Sophie was my contact with Sunsave & was there if I had any questions before & after the install, she was excellent. The guys who installed the solar panels explained exactly what they were doing & did a great job. I’ve had a great experience & would definitely recommend Sunsave 10 out of 10!
Super easy, smooth installation and a no brainer
The team were really helpful in getting an installation site sorted, despite a few hurdles. I cannot fault the process, from initial enquiries to final agreement. The installation was ultra smooth, the electrician and installer of the panels were great, really accommodating, helpful and friendly.
Honest consultation
Had a consultation with Milo about solar system. He advised us that a solar system was not economical in our instance due to shading from surrounding objects also unsuitability of our roof. This was very honest as other companies were quite happy to fit unsuitable systems. I had suspected all along that our property was not well suited for a solar system and to have Milo confirm this was refreshing.
AVOID installation of faulty parts with 2 failures in under 2 years! 2 years since my installation and I have had 2 problems. The first 15 months after installation, was a faulty MCB which failed meaning that the system was completely down and took 6 weeks to resolve with little communication. More recently after 22 months the bird proofing fell off the panels, despite Sunsave’s website stating that correctly installed bird proofing lasts the duration of the installation. Again I contacted them and 2 weeks later they have done nothing to resolve the issue leaving my system at risk. I have given them opportunities to resolve this prior to leaving reviews but they have fobbed me off and not done anything to rectify the problem with their faulty installation, yet again! I have no faith in any of their installation as they use faulty and inadequate parts that are incorrectly fitted and don’t rectify the issues in a reasonable time frame.
I approached SunSave after receiving info from Hive & British Gas. I was sent all the information to digest over the phone & via email. There was no pushy salesman techniques or upselling. I actually requested a requote with a larger battery to futureproof the system. I worked out the maths, couldn't believe the way the numbers stacked up, so had them checked by 2 others & it was correct. Once I'd agreed, the survey was very comprehensive & the paperwork arrived in a timely manner. The install went exceptionally well, took 1.5 days & the guys were tidy & lovely. I've been (obsessively) monitoring via the apps, even on manky January days I'm only using tiny bits of mains electric during peak hours. I've wanted Solar for ages, the upfront cost was not an option for me, I recommend this way & this company, it's been so straightforward!
Everything was excellant Everything was very well organised. I was kept informed all the way through. The installers were very accomodating, profesional and curtious. The system works even better than I was promised.
The support from start to installation (and post-installation) has been excellent. The salesperson explained everything clearly and I didn't feel under pressure at all to sign up, which, I think, goes to show the confidence Sunsave have in their product. The only improvement I can think of is we could have done with more proactive support in understanding and getting through the planning process since our installation needed permission (most won't, I believe). However, Sunsave went above and beyond by contributing to the cost of the surveys needed. When it came to organising and scheduling the installation, that was all very smooth. And the contractors Sunsave chose for the scaffolding and panel installation were so professional and friendly, which we know from recent experience can't be taken for granted. Sophie, who guided us through the process, was lovely to deal with. Very competent and patient and understood when it was better to email instead of call. Would totally recommend Sunsave for 1. the way they make solar panels affordable and 2. the service you receive from the whole team, including the contractors.
Stumbled across Sunsave whilst just browsing Solar as wanted to have solar for years but never got round to properly looking into it. Fully read through the details on website then arranged a date for a video call after talking on the phone. The video call went really well eith Nick and all my questions were answered which were indepth so we went ahead with the installation. We went for the quoted 6 Trina Solar panels - 450W, Fox ESS 3.68kW Inverter with the Fox ESS 8.64kh battery 🔋 storage. Scaffolding was erected a couple of weeks before and then both the roofer and the electrician both turned up to start work on 27th November. I can say both the roofer and the electrician who seemed to know each other as worked on other installations and were so great. All works were completed at a very high standard as I would expect. The roofer completed the install of thd panels snd left Jamie to connect up. Jamie the electrian then walked me through the installation and then finally set up the Fox ESS App and set me up as a user. Unfortunately can't export any excess as yet as need to await our smart meter install which is booked in for 16th January with Octopus. Will then jump on the intelligent Octopus 🐙 Flux to start exporting and to also join Sunsave Virtual plant for that extra ££ I can honestly say I was very critical at going Solar as not knowing who to trust in the industry however Sunsave have come through as honest, trustworthy and the contractors were excellent too. I will be passing on referrals to whome ever asks for advice in wanting Solar and battery. A big thank you to the whole team at Sunsave, lets see how the next 20 years go on.......
Honest advice, great service with fast response times and clear updates. They told me that 3 additional panels on the side of my house would not be worth the investment. Did not try to sell me as many as possible to increase their revenue but only wanted to provide what makes sense for me. Antonio is always available to answer ta question or provide an update Would highly recommend
Our 14 panel South/West array with 13kwh battery storage was installed a week ago in the North West. I am extremely happy with the service I have received. Jonny was our first contact who talked us through our options. He was very well informed and able to answer a number of queries I had about the installation process. Communication was always swift and professional which provided a layer of confidence you don't always feel when dealing with contractors. Once the details of our installation were finalised we were passed on to Sophie in a seamless fashion where the impressive level of communication continued. We were able to keep to our chosen location for the batteries after a discussion around alternatives due to a slightly trickier install for electrician. We were grateful to have our preferred location used with a point of view being taken on board by the installation team. Ultimately we chose Sunsave as the subscription option suited our situation better than the upfront expense. We have other projects around the house we are completing at the same time. I like the idea of being part of a collective with regards to the virtual power plant and it feels like I am contributing to a sustainable way of supporting mass adoption of home solar. We're in the depths of December but the odd sunny day has shown what this system is capable of producing. With two EVs and a heat pump due to be installed it feels like we are on the right path towards sustainable living and reduce reliance on pricey energy! Would happily recommend Sunsave to anyone considering solar and battery installation.
Fantastic company, they will only continue to be successful. From the onset where my initial enquiry was picked up, I continue to be impressed by how communicative Sunsave are. The initial introductory discussion was very clear, I understood what they needed so that a fully costed proposal could be made and the follow up call where we went through the proposal was equally impressive. The main difference with dealing with this company compared to others is that they understand that they need to build a relationship with a customer and importantly, how easy it is to actually do this. Something that many other providers fail to grasp. The install team were great, they've done a very good job keeping it all tidy and were happy to answer my stupid questions about how the kit works. The day after the install, Sunsave contacted me to make sure I was happy with everything and have given me all I need to set up the SEG side of my install. I would completely and wholeheartedly recommend using Sunsave for your Solar+Battery installations.
Just finished the install with Sunsave. Very easy process to follow and the support from the team was great throughout. Easily contactable and supportive with any queries. Highly recommend if you are wanting a manageable solar installation. Included a last minute request for a EV charger and they were more than helpful getting it added to the quote.
I've had a great experience with Sunsave, who despite apparently being quite busy according to all of these reviews, managed to treat me as if I was one of their only few customers. They've got their heads screwed on, the salesperson I initially spoke to answered all of my questions when I had them. I of course was sceptical about signing up with them, but I did my due diligence, and they weren't promising me the earth to get me to sign up either. I went in to the arrangement very much with my eyes open. Signing up with Sunsave is so much better than paying a huge upfront cost and then being left to deal with everything yourself. They offer an ongoing supportive relationship for the duration of your equipments life. I could never afford to pay out for all of this equipment and the repayment interest is less than my mortgage. That's the key thing. If you're worried about selling your house with this relationship in place, you can settle the agreement early with the extra money you make from having panels fitted to your house in the first place. Or the new people can take on the contract, it's not very likely they'd turn it down. It's not that big of a deal if you consider it. Everything happened exactly when it should have in terms of installation, no messing about, no rearranging, everything was finished in 2 days on my terraced property. I think the most difficult part of the process was going around getting the pictures of around the property so that they could prepare for the installation, and that was hardly a chore. As for the solar itself, I've already been generating enough to power my house and charge the battery even in winter. Of course it's going to vary due to the weather but I've literally expected nothing. I'm still waiting for Octopus to set up my export tariff so I've actually been exporting for free at the moment (that is nothing to do with Sunsave, they provided all of the documents as soon as they got them). I'm looking forward to being able to sign up to the Virtual Power Plant which is leveraging their customer base and their batteries for the good of the grid and getting paid for it. They've even paid attention to such details as bird protection, as I didn't realise pigeons really like getting under panels until they mentioned it. I've now noticed so many installations in my area without it, which makes me somewhat smug. It really is worth doing. I'm very happy and so long as they manage to scale their customer service along with the huge increase in business they will no doubt get when word gets around about them, then I can't imagine I will ever have any issues. They've got to maintain their side of their relationship otherwise their business model doesn't work. If you're not sure about any of this then speak to them. You'll soon see.
Honest, informative and good install. Very honest about whether it would be worth it or not, wasn’t unless we were getting an ASHP due to our low level of electric use, we are getting one so got the panels and battery. Good comms all the way through and very happy with the install.
Quite simply so far an amazing company who have come up with a brilliant idea and plan to provide solar energy to those who cannot afford the upfront costs or those who do not wish to pay so much upfront like me. Wonderful installation and guidance all the way through and now we are seeing our electric bill more than half and so far it's been cloudy with rain since the install..roll on long daylight hours and sun and no more electric costs. Also as energy prices rise, the more we save. Highly recommend Sunsave, it really is worth checking them out if you're thinking of solar energy.
From the consultation through to the support I have received through the year after my first contact with Sunsave, everything has been smooth, friendly and they have been very helpful. The installation itself was painless. They arrived on the days they said they would. It was completed in the timeframe they advised. The install itself is very neat and tidy, and the install team left no mess at all, and were very friendly. Post install, the contact from Sunsave has been regular, with views on System Performance, and any questions I have they have answered them quickly and with the detail I needed. Absolute pleasure to deal with, and the savings I am seeing are significantly more than the projected savings!
Great company to deal with, very supportive and happy to spend time discussing project, and any concerns, from ordering to installation you are kept up to date, everything was completed on schedule and workmen were great and completed the job in the 2 days. If you are thinking of solar panels and battery I would recommend Sunsave
I came to Sunsave through Hive. They are more expensive than a conventional installation but offer a monitored, insured product throughout the 20 year plan. One of the most attractive parts to me was the promise of a battery and inverter replacement after 12 years or so when the battery has degraded. As this is one of the most expensive parts of the system, it just seemed like a sensible approach, but unlike normal insurance, you know you will be claiming on this for sure in the future. The installation was generally excellent. The only issue I had was the amount of debris and rubbish left at the end after the scaffolding was removed. This was dealt with promptly by Sunsave though. The initial remote survey designed the system with 10 panels. A few days before the installation, I was told it would only be 9 due to my roof shape, and this was further reduced to 8 when the installers went up and realised what they could actually do. This was a little annoying but, again, Sunsave dealt with it well, and in reality, I haven't really noticed much difference in the electricity generation. It just needs slightly longer to charge the battery and, in general use, generates far more electricity than I need so I am selling plenty back to the grid. The system integrates brilliantly with the Hive app, as well as offering it's own app where I can schedule the overnight battery charge to make use of the cheap rate tariff. Even my wife, who was very sceptical of the whole thing, is impressed and likes checking out the app to see the free electricity we're generating! I highly recommend Sunsave and the product they offer.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brilliant Service from Start to Finish Honestly couldn’t fault Sunsave Energy at all. From day one they’ve been professional, friendly, and really easy to deal with. The communication has been great throughout — I was kept in the loop at every stage and always knew what was happening. Edd did an amazing job with the initial design process, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure the system was exactly what I needed. Then Antonio was fantastic at keeping me updated all the way through and making sure everything ran smoothly. The whole experience has been completely seamless from start to finish. Would 100% recommend Sunsave Energy to anyone thinking about getting solar — they make the whole thing simple and stress-free.
From my initial enquiry for a quote back in June, the contact with all staff at sunsave has been very professional. Have been impressed with every touch point of my experience, the pesentation by Edd, explanation of the costs, savings over 20 years, the details of the financials, then handover to Mo, who answered my numerous questions, the scaffolding company communication and promptness, the two installation guys where superb, and the 11 panels, battery, invertor and electrics were installed in 5 hours. The aftercare so far has exceeded my expectations. We've already seen a saving with our electric kwh costs. In process of completing switch to British Gas to benefit from EV tariff and have signed up (as recommended by sunsave) to hive solar saver tariff to get 25% discount on peak tariff for 12 months. As others have commented initially was very sceptical that there was no upfront costs, as no other supply offers this, but so far so good and looking forward to the future long term savings and generating power from the sun. Disguised battery & inverter with ivy. Obviously artificial
Great experience from quotation to installation. We went from contract to install within one month and were getting paid for our export around 10 days after. We are on track so have spent around £600 less in the full year since having our system installed vs the year before. Highly recommend and the subscription model which finally makes solar PV make sense financially from day one. ☀️💰
EDIT: Following my initial review, I had a productive conversation with Sunsave's co-founder. They acknowledged the issues I experienced and demonstrated a commitment to improving their processes. While they couldn't address all concerns (e.g., the trunking), they offered to waive my first monthly payment of £134.45 as compensation. This gesture, along with their improved communication and willingness to listen, has somewhat restored my confidence in the company. While there's still room for improvement, I appreciate their efforts to make things right. The system itself continues to perform well, and I'm cautiously optimistic about the ongoing support. Pros: - Final system looks good after adjustments - Friendly customer service staff when reachable - Accredited by reputable organizations (Which, Loop, Octopus) - The GivEnergy system is decent, though slightly buggy - The financing option made the system accessible - Appreciate the inclusion of GivEnergy smart plugs Cons: - Long lead time (approximately 3 months) - Poor communication post-sales and during the installation process - Unclear about the use of subcontractors - Expensive pricing (close to £20k for 18x440w panels, 9.5kWh battery, 5kWh inverter) - Significant workmanship issues requiring remediation - Difficulty reaching customer service by phone - Unfinished aspects (e.g., painting, trunking) - Delays in export payments setup - Unprofessional conduct by some contractors I had high hopes for Sunsave given their accreditations, but the experience was mixed. The installation process was lengthy and communication often fell short. Last-minute schedule changes and unclear information about subcontractors added stress. The scaffolding installation and dismantling process was particularly problematic. Dates changed multiple times, ostensibly to accommodate post-installation issues, but workers would arrive without notice, often staying for numerous days and blasting radio, causing disruption. Most alarmingly, there was an incident where a contractor was observed urinating on the property, which is completely unacceptable. The initial installation had several workmanship issues. These included visible rail caps, inconsistent bird spike placement, and poor cable management. It took multiple follow-ups to get these addressed, with some still unresolved. While the final system looks good, it required pushing for fixes like cutting down side rails and filling holes. The pricing seems high in retrospect, and I'm unclear about what the maintenance portion of the cost covers over 20 years. Post-installation issues include being told to handle "minor DIY tasks" ourselves (not mentioned in the contract as far as I can see) and cables not being properly trunked as initially agreed. The Octopus Flux Intelligent process hasn't been smooth, and after a month, we're still not receiving export payments. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful when reachable. The GivEnergy system works well, albeit with minor bugs. Email communication has been okay, but not fantastic. I do appreciate the GivEnergy smart plugs they sent, even if the packaging was a bit messy. The pricing model, while expensive, worked for us as it wasn't possible to add the initial value to our mortgage or get a separate loan. The included maintenance gives some peace of mind, but I'm not entirely confident it will be smooth sailing over the 20-year term. Overall, while the end result is satisfactory, the journey felt amateurish for a company with such prestigious accreditations. As a startup, there's significant room for improvement in customer communication, installation quality, contractor conduct, and post-installation support.
