Simon did a small job moving a 4-gang light switch in my house. He was thorough, professional and extremely neat and tidy. It was a tricky job thanks to the original installer's corner cutting but Simon didn't make a drama, didn't leave it half done, didn't double the price (or any of the things we've no doubt all experienced from bad service providers in our lives!) Even though I'm sure this was a tiny job for him it was critical for me and I'm really grateful. Definitely my first call for an electrician now!

Simon has installed our solar panel system and batteries. We are very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him. He is hard working and friendly to deal with, and pays great attention to detail. We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

Simon is a first class electrician with excellent knowledge & experience in EV charger installations & general electrical work with a strong emphasis on safety. He carried out a most professional installation of my new Hypervolt Home 3 Pro EV 7kW charger. He is most helpful in answering any queries & so friendly to deal with. I highly recommended him & his work without hesitation. He even asked his wife to drop by with their Tesla EV, after completion, to test the new charger on load & it worked flawlessly. Simon helped me with upgrading the supply to my garage which was aged. I cannot recommend him enough. Positive - can do - responsive. No issues with quality of work and couldn’t do enough to help you. He even intermediated with the DNO. If you are getting work done - get Simon in. Quality work. After the original company that installed our solar system went bust, we were left unsure about the quality of their work. To make matters worse, we had missing documentation. That is when we asked Simon to inspect our solar installation. From the outset, Simon was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. Simon help installed a new consumer unit at my property, replacing/tydying old consumer units which were outdated and not up to today's safety standards, into a modern one. The work was conducted in a very professional and efficient manner throughout. From providing the quote before the job, to providing me with all the paperwork afterwards, Simon responded to every single query I had promptly and patiently. The price he quoted for the job was also very reasonable. I have no hesitation to recommend his service to my friends, and seek his help in future. A very happy client, in short. Simon is very knowledgeable electrician and great human. He has fully rewired my house, answered all questions , stayed always in communication, helped choosing lights and advised on products. There is not many trade out there that you can trust, and it’s important to find good trade as your house is your castle. Simon is a tradesman with professional attitude and good sense of humour. Had Simon do my electric car charger. He was reliable and a nice guy. He done his job as expected turned up when he said he would and even though he had to do a bit more than originally expected he still charged his original quote. Very professional and would recommend to others

Simon replaced an extractor fan for us and was a pleasure to deal with! He arrived on time, tackled the unexpected complications with ease and was reasonably priced - he was here longer than expected but didn't charge us more than quoted. We'll definitely recommend and use him in future!

I would certainly recommend SPJ Electrical. Simon installed a Solar Battery system onto our existing solar panel set up. He worked extremely hard to get the system installed and running and fully explained everything involved both before and during the installation. I am extremely happy with his work and will certainly continue to use him for any future work.

After finding Simon on check-a-trade he came and gave a very reasonable quote the following day to replace 8 outdoor lights & 2 indoor lights, which we were very happy to accept. We had already purchased 6 of the lights & he was happy to install these. He gave really good advice about others we needed & supplied & installed these for us too. We’re very happy with the completed results & the sensor porch way light he suggested is a godsend. Simon is polite, reliable, tidy and above all his work is of an excellent standard. He’s the only electrician I’ll now use & I will recommend him to everyone.

We chose Simon because of the great reviews here and I’m glad we did. Friendly, knowledgable, hardworking and reasonably priced. There were a few complex issues that required some background research about the installation that had been done previously and Simon did it without asking as he just wanted to help. Strongly recommended.

Simon provided an EICR for me ahead of purchasing a property, as well as then installing a new 18th edition compliant consumer unit with RCBO protection on each circuit and a surge protection device. He was extremely pleasant to arrange work with, carried the work out brilliantly to a high standard and quickly, very fair pricing and is happy to talk you through all aspects of the work. We contacted Simon by chance for a very small Job which he dealt with very efficiently. As a result we asked him to give us a quote for upgrading our fuse box from an antique one using fuse wire to a modern one, plus several new wall sockets. The following quote for the initial survey and work was very reasonable and the work was carried out very efficiently. He explained everything he was doing and everything was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend as he is knowledgeable, efficient and customer service is excellent.
