Genfit replaced my 15 year old inverter which had failed - a small job but they dealt with it promptly and efficiently.

We are extremely pleased with our Solar system fitted by Genfit. From our 1st contact with the Company to the end of the project we found all the staff to be pleasant, helpful and very professional. The team who fitted the panels were hardworking, pleasant and always tidied up after. Would have no hesitation in highly recommending Genfit.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Genfit. After having a really disappointing experience with another company, it was such a relief to deal with a team that genuinely knew what they were doing and truly cared about getting things right. Genfit stepped in, fixed the existing issues, and delivered everything to an exceptionally high standard. From the very first interaction, every member of the team was polite, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about their products. They took the time to explain the solar battery, home backup system, and new inverter in a way that was easy to understand, which gave me real confidence in the solution proposed and the company as a whole. The installation itself was flawless — extremely neat, with impressive attention to detail. It’s clear they take a lot of pride in their workmanship, and the site was left spotless once the job was complete (They even levelled the gravel they walked back and to over where they had been working before they left!). Normally when someone else does a job there is something you would have done differently or change to meet your own standards. There is nothing I would change at all it is a really really tidy installation. I know Genfit works on large-scale projects for commercial customers, but despite my installation being a relatively small job for them, I was treated like a valued customer every step of the way. The level of care and customer service I received was absolutely exceptional, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Genfit to anyone looking for a trustworthy, high-quality solar company. When it comes time to upgrade to an EV charger I will not hesitate to be back in touch. Thank you for all your help and just generally for being such a good company to deal with.

The powerwall sits in the porch behind the coat stand, it is very slim considering. The installation went as expected from Genfit excellently from start to finish. If you are looking for an installation of solar panels, heat pumps or batteries etc, look no further.

We have Solar panels installed by Genfit on the roof and we installed a bank of 5 EV double chargers in March 2025 by Genfit. The project went very smoothly, delivered on time and everything works perfectly. Excellent service.

We have had 6 panels installed in the hip of a semi-detached house. We were impressed by GenFit from the very first meeting as staff are knowledgeable and helpful. There was no pressure selling - we were presented with a couple of options but were advised that the cheaper option (without battery) would best serve our needs. Installation was on-time and undertaken in a professional manner. Unfortunately we hit a snag during commissioning - a bad batch of optimisers meant that all the panels had to be lifted and the optimisers replaced. However, the communication from GenFit was second to none throughout and all problems were resolved. We are very pleased with our fully functioning system and have no hesitation in recommending GenFit - an excellent company.

We have used Genfit three times over a period of ten years, two installations of solar panels in our current and previous properties and a recent installation of a battery. They have always provided excellent service, always willing to answer any of our questions and the installations have been carried out very expertly and efficiently. The after care is good although, to be fair, very rarely needed. We would not go elsewhere.

Genfit designed and installed my Solar Edge panel and battery system. It makes very efficient use of my awkwardly shaped roof and the battery means I only ever buy electricity at the cheapest rate at night. Overall I export more electricity than I use for 8 months of the year.

We're delighted with our solar panel installation by Genfit, working on a large roof retro-fitting integrated panels into slate, on a self-build retrofit that has its own quirks and the team worked together with us to get the detailing right. The team really did truly work in all weathers (yes, it snowed) and from start to end were always on time, always here when they said they would be, and the office were brilliant at organising it end to end. Most importantly, any issues that arose were resolved very quickly by Genfit. The SolarEdge and Longi system is performing extremely well. We are seeing very close to what was laid out in the designs in terms of seasonal performance, but most impressively is how low and precisely it can optimise the panels on days with poor weather. With such a large array we are able to get a very stable baseload of solar energy from all panels despite shading. I hope the pictures speak for themselves - it's a very nice looking install that is also on the edge of bringing us to zero energy bills for the whole house.

Genfit rectified work that had been carried out incorrectly in our home by a different company. From day one they have been compassionate, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They respond to queries in a timely manner and their customer service is excellent. I could not be happier by the service that they have provided. I had an excellent experience with Genfit, which was what I expected after my son-in-law recommended the firm to me. The price was good, and I was not pressed to add facilities that I probably do not need (but can be added later, if I wish). Above all, the people I dealt with were all extremely helpful, professional and efficient. Everyone arrived when they had arranged to do so and simply got on with the job. I am wholly satisfied with the system that has been installed and is now up and running. I can confidently recommend Genfit myself!

We conducted extensive research before choosing Genfit. We must have watched hundreds of YouTube videos and read numerous articles, which, at times, left us even more confused. It's a minefield, with so many decisions to make to ensure you choose a system tailored to your particular circumstances. Before selecting Genfit, we paid them a visit to ask the many questions that we couldn't find answers to - a long list that filled a full A4 page. The managing director was able to answer all of them and helped us make the final decision that Genfit was the right company for us. They have been fitting solar systems for a long time, with experience in both large-scale projects and domestic installations. They are conveniently located close to us and specialise in Solaredge, so they know the system inside out. Communication was excellent, and they were very flexible when we needed to postpone fitting the panels on our garage roof due to it not being completed on time. The quality of workmanship is second to none, and all in all, they were professional at every step of the process.

I’ve been really impressed by Genfit. The office has been great to deal with and your electricians and fitters have been courteous, reliable, tidy and have completed the fit to a really high standard. Simple things like boxing in, how they have cut the angles so it all looks neat, tidy cabling etc. You lifted all my carpets upstairs to route the wiring and when I came home, you couldn't tell, everything was back in its place, tidy, hoovered! I deal with a lot of trades and you don’t see this very often. Highly recommended.

Love my new solar panels. Found Genfit much better priced than other company "the big 6" energy companies use. The team ever time I spoke with them where lovely people. Glad to have given them the business. Found communication a little slow with them in early days of having it done, but I think that was more down to global supply. Excellent company! 10 out of 10 for everything from start to finish! We are thrilled to bits with our in-roof panels (installed when the scaffolding was up for a new roof), flat roof panels (installed later, after a new rubber membrane roof) and solar battery. We thank our lucky stars that we came across Dave Houston and Genfit. He has a brilliant team working for him. They are all hardworking, polite, courteous and very friendly people. We particularly appreciated being kept fully informed of developments, throughout the process, by Brenda the General Manager. Every effort was made to accommodate our needs and timings. The ‘Operation and Maintenance Handover Pack’ (with certificates, warranties, diagrams, datasheets and checklists) is very comprehensive and informative! The app keeps us fully up to date with how each panel and the whole system (including the battery) is performing – and it is all far exceeding our expectations. The instant feedback has resulted in us changing when we use certain appliances so that we now make the most of the power that is, or has been, generated. Genfit are very highly recommended.

When we were looking to fit PV Solar to our house we looked for a local firm who had been in the business for some time and with a good reputation. We looked at several but chose Genfit and have been impressed with their service, even when things don’t go according to plan they sort them out. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and committed to making sure the installation is correct. The products used have so far proved reliable and output has exceeded our expectations and the standard predictions.

From the initial advisory discussion, to the project design followed by the hardware installation, the commissioning of the system and the follow-up service, this company is excellent. As a customer one feels valued and there is always friendly and prompt support at the end of a phone. Project management is of a very high standard as is the level of available expertise. Upon completion of installation work on our premises, all surplus materials were removed for recycling. We recommend Genfit without hesitation: quality products, and exceptional service.
