Great service. They came the same day I called to tell them the job. Professional and definitely recommended
Simply first class! From start to finish, , the team at Aquila were professional, prompt and on hand to answer any questions. In Short: - Made contact and arranged a survey on day one. - Surveyor came and went though the various options available (we had an air-conditioning unit installed). -Same day their quote was send over. -As I wanted to take advantage of their payment options, I was put through to one of the team that sorted this straight away! -Unit fitted within a week with the installer spending time to run through the user instructions. Would I recommend Aquila? 100% I would!
Quick efficient service, transparency explained every step of process and costs. Was able to sort my problem out straightaway, good knowledge evident. Would Definately use company again.
David was polite, tidy and we had a good convo. He fit a radiator and serviced our boiler - both expertly done. Would happily have him back!
Would like to wholeheartedly thank the engineer who pulled over and helped me with my car in getting it off the road today. Whilst other cars driven past your member of staff pulled over and helped me get the car out the way and made sure I was alright after doing so. Not sure on his name sorry but it meant a great deal and I’m extremely thankful.
Aquila has been servicing our boiler for last 4 years. The company is very easy to deal with. All the engineers are very friendly and tidy up after servicing the boiler. Great job guys.
I have just had a new combi boiler installed by Aquila Heating. They did a very good job indeed within a couple of weeks of my first contact with them. The work seems to be of a high quality and their engineers pleasant and helpful in explaining everything to us. They were tidy in the house for example putting down protective film on the carpets and tidying away before leaving. The firms communications with us were excellent; we received emails and texts of appointments and arrival times. Highly recommended.
What an amazing service! I was looking for three-bedrooms to have air conditioning fitted, and I knew exactly what I wanted. However, after the home survey, I was completely blown away. There were no pushy sales tactics or attempts to upgrade me to all-singing, all-dancing air conditioning units. Instead, they advised me on what would work best for each room, explaining the features of each air conditioning unit. The most important feature for me was a slim design that would fit well in each room. They also explained all the external work involved, including my planning for the pipes to run from one gable end to the other in the attic to keep the outside appearance minimal. The engineers on the day were amazing. They sent me a text so I could track their eta, and they kept my house clean and tidy throughout the installation. Once the installation was complete, they explained each air conditioning unit’s functions and features and helped me set them up on the app. They were a credit to the company also like to mention the people who I spoke to on the phone in the office they are also amazing. Great local company highly recommend.
Very positive , communications are excellent . This company does not ignore you . We have used them for a few years and it's 10/10 all round.
I can’t recommend Aquila Heating & Plumbing Ltd enough!! I changed my car to a hybrid therefore I needed to have an ev charger fitted. I am unfamiliar with technology and every single company that I enquired with told me to choose a charger on line (often 6/7 different ones to choose from) pay for it upfront and upload photos of complicated procedures which was impossible for me to do then they will come and fit it???!!! This is rediculous, confusing , unachievable, complicated and impossible for me to understand and to do. However Aquila Heating were FANTASTIC!!! Such an easy process from start to finish. Fantastic empathetic, professional polite staff made this process so easy and stress free. An engineer came to my property to access my house and the location for the ev charger. He advised and recommended which charger would be most suitable for my car. There was a choice of colours and styles for me to choose from. A date was booked to install the ev charger. Josh the electrician was fantastic. Very professional, patient, knowledgeable and really helpful. He explained everything to me so that I had confidence in the product and answered all of my many questions! He did not rush me. He is an asset to the company. I was so happy with every step of the process. The price was cheaper than all of the other companies and the after care is amazing. They are accessible and the whole team is absolutely amazing! A * service!
Aquila has checked our boiler twice (or three times?) and they have done a professional job on both occasions (not that I would know if they missed anything 😆 yeah but they did the jobs well) if there is one thing that could be improved , I’d say is the flexibility when things do not go as planned, and be as considerate to customers as much as they treasure their staff. The first time we asked for a check up the system (or was it the secretary ?) booked us in on a Friday and the technician conveniently fell sick (it’s weekend after all); we were booked in another day at last minute, no apologies and they just expect us to be available . If I was on a day job I’d have to take another day off for the task. This year the booking went much smoother and there was a disclaimer saying the initial booking is subject to change, which would be enough to resolve the issue we had last year. The technician arrived on time which was brilliant, but then we realised then that the carcass of our new larder door was blocking the boiler cover. Instead of booking another time to do the job, or calling the company for suggestions, the technician went on with it and did what he could, leaving out some parts due to inaccessibility. No one asked us what we wanted to do next, he just made the call for us. We were charged full price still, and was given a complementary price later to complete the check up (two thirds of the original price ), and the report was marked as “checkup completed”. They did remind clients by email to check the accessibility of the boiler before the visit, but this may be not much use as every boiler is installed differently , and most of us probably could not tell if there are any red flags. If we would do the checkup again next year, Aquila might already have more flexible solutions regarding the issues above. But I partly agree with some of the reviews, that service is very good as long as nothing goes wrong, and prepare to be charged full price regardless of the service quality/completion.
Aquila Engineers did a great job fitting AIRCON in my home recently. At the time I thought I understood all the information I was given for controlling the system by the remote control and my mobile. I realised I didn't (because of old age) and asked for a follow up visit. The Engineer returned and patiently went through everything and I can now use the remote and mobile. Thanks Aquila.
Excellent communication from booking the appointment to completion of the job. Providing a route map about 20 minutes before the appointment with the engineer's location and ETA is brilliant. Our engineer, Dave Freeman arrived on time and carried out the work in a professional manner, giving me confidence in the quality of the work done. He showed me some minor faults which require attention before closing up the boiler, so I was able to see exactly what the problems were that he found and not feel I was being conned. Overall a superb service from Aquila, I shall continue to use your services and recommend you to others.
Small pipe repair job which was completed quickly and to a good standard. Engineer friendly and knowledgeable. The reason for the 3 stars is an issue with quoting / cost. If you call out of hours and end up with 'Alex' the virtual assistant, call back another time and speak to a member of the team to confirm the price. The price was incorrect from 'Alex' and more expensive when the invoice came through. When queried, it was an issue with the virtual assistant but the price is what it is. Hate to think of what the difference would be on a much more expensive job than what we had done - just a word of caution.
Very impressed with the service that Aquila provided. We've been looking at getting an air conditioning unit for one of our rooms. From start to finish they have been brilliant. Phil initially came to discuss what they could do for us and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He even said he would move a mounted TV for us, so we could have the air conditioning unit in the best place possible. They kept me updated with times etc when I gave them the go ahead and were very punctual. The fitting lads were also very friendly and professional and cleaned up all the mess after they had finish. I would definitely recommend them.
In June 2022 I decided that it was time to replace my 28 year old Baxi boiler with a new, more efficient design. On the basis of a personal recommendation I contacted Aquila and the boss came to my house and explained the best course of action including the make and model of boiler. I was very happy with the quotation and went ahead with the job. Professional, caring engineers under “team leader” Adrian Burgess, and at the end of day 2 my new system was up and running. As the old loft tanks were surplus to requirement, they were drained, cut up into smaller pieces and passed down through the loft hatch for disposal. (My neighbour’s old tanks were left in his loft when he had the same work completed the year before by a different Company!) I subsequently took out an Aquila care plan and have just had the boiler serviced & cleaned. I cannot speak highly enough of Aquila, their engineers/technicians, and the office staff who are always available to take my phone calls. I definitely made the right choice of Company 3 years ago! They are also very reasonably priced.
Would like to give a great shout out to Chris from Aquila who carried out a service and repair work on my daughters boiler. Chris was punctual, smart and extremely personable and extremely knowledgeable. Cannot recommend Chris and Aquila highly enough. This is our go to company should we need any further work. Many thanks for an excellent job.
Exceptional Service. Where do I start? I was kept informed of when the engineers were going to arrive via text and tracking! The chaps that turned up to work on the installation were friendly, professional, tidy and treated me with respect - they didn't talk down to me and kept me informed of progress as the day went. The whole process of dealing with Aquila from start to finish was painless and smooth - just what we needed after our original boiler failed us and we were without heating or hot water - so thanks for coming to our rescue! Can't recommend Aquila enough!
I’m really impressed by Aquila from installation of the new boiler 3 years ago. This included converting my old open vented system to a fully sealed system. The work was completed in only 2 days and is excellent. The team worked efficiently and everyone knew what was expected of them (it seemed) with minimum guidance. Since then I’ve contracted with Aquila for ongoing maintenance as necessary which gives peace of mind. Aquila staff are friendly and helpful. Keep doing what you’re doing 👍
Highly recommend Aquila heating & plumbing services, I have been using them for the past 3 years for my annual boiler service. Contacted them regarding my nest and thermostat which needed replacement Dave Hunter came out and did the work and even updated my phone app, absolutely amazing service from start to finish always very courteous and punctual would give 10 stars if I could.
