Urban solar were recommended to me by a neighbour after having done an installation for them and they sang their praises which prompted me to contact them with a view to having my own installation they were easy to deal with and worked with me to plan the work to provide me with a tailor made instal as ime hands on and wanted to do some of the instal myself ie building the support framework for the panels and excavating for underground cables to the garage location the site for the inverter and storage battery,Patrick was only to happy to give me pointers and help me to be hands on. The instal went without a hitch thanks to his advice and he and his team completed the instal in a day and that evening I was actively enjoying free electricity to boot.great job and a very reasonable price I’ve since upgraded to a larger battery for more storage and Patrick sourced and installed it as part and parcel of his care for his customers package Urban solar well worth a call, recommendations are so much better that potluck on the internet

First class work and a pleasure to work with.

Patrick and his team installed a 4.5kW solar array on our house in 2018 and a Tesla Powerwall 2 in 2023. Nothing was too much trouble for Patrick and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. His work is first class and I would recommend him to anyone. The system has worked as hoped and I have recently discussed further work with him.

Urban Solar did an amazing job installing solar panels and battery backup in our home. They were very professional, friendly and clearly experts all aspects of solar energy. I’m a techy person with lots of difficult questions. I did my research, spoke to 5 companies and had 4 come to visit us. Patrick, the director at Urban Solar, answered every questions I had with what was clearly expert knowledge. He also took the time to understand what was important to us about the system (in our case, getting high yield reliable panels was important, and we didn’t want to pay a premium for aesthetics). He came across as a solar expert rather than a salesperson, answered all of my questions and, as it happens also provided the cheapest quote. Patrick put no pressure on us to purchase a system, and when we did decide to go with them, both Patrick and the team were exceptionally friendly and professional. One of Patrick’s colleagues, Henah, also completed the Feed-In-Tariff forms for us, and made the process easy. Oh, and our solar panels are great too! A well-deserved 5 stars.

Urban Solar have recently installed solar panels for me, and they've been excellent. It was clear instantly that they were engineers who knew their stuff, and would listen and work with us to get what we wanted. The quote included everything, and was extremely comprehensive in detail, including a break down of costs. The installation was professional, but friendly. Quick too, done in a day including the electrical work and it was generating power the next morning. They also included some monitoring software which is very satisfying to look at. All in all, I'd recommend Urban Solar without hesitation.
