John and the Fortis team (including the fantastic Luke and Matthew) installed my 7Kw Solar and Tesla Powerwall 3 / Gateway system recently and did an amazing job. Right from the initial quote all the way through to post install care John listened to my requirements and provided me with confidence at every step. Fortis were able to install quickly (other suppliers were quoting 6-8 weeks to install) and despite the awful weather, John and his team delivered as promised and also fixed some of my broken roof tiles at the same time! Clean, tidy and not rushing the job you could tell they take pride in their installs. The system has now been up and running for 3 weeks with no issues and I can’t recommend John and the Fortis team highly enough. Roll on the summer months!

John and his team installed an EV charger at my place and inspected the electric installation. Everything was thoroughly explained and their quote request system is very easy to complete. Great service! Thank you!

John and his team have been amazing to work with. We had them do the solar and battery installation on our self-build, but things went so well that they ended up doing the entire 1st and 2nd fixes for us. It was a complicated build, and they were patient, working with us deal with problems and schedule conflicts along the way. Can't thank and recommend them enough!

They installed a 14 solar panels inverter and battery system. Fortis are quick and clean and tidy company. All paperwork completed on time and DNO informed. I have no problems recommending John and his team. For reference the system has been in 6 months and I have not no faults at all.

Excellent customer service. John and his team were very friendly and proficient from start to the finish. They take care with the roof installations and readily available for any troubleshooting or queries. The handover of warranties and compliance certificates is provided in a very concise and well-organised document. Would not hesitate in recommending their service to anyone else looking at Solar PV battery systems. What set them really apart is not trying to oversell or push for business. Good listening and trying to provide a bespoke solution to the household/ business needs.

We are absolutely delighted with the work carried out by Fortis Electrical. The roof-integrated solar panels look absolutely brilliant (a really neat job) and we're amazed at how much electricity we're already saving. John, Luke and Matthew were so polite and professional, with great communication throughout. The quote seemed good value, with no hidden extras. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing solar panels. We don't actually have an electric car yet, but decided to have an EV charger installed for future use (our choice, not upsold!). A definite 10/10, thank you.

Having thoroughly researched my requirements for a grid tied hybrid inverter and battery system I consulted many local and national installers, John was the only contractor who took the time to listen to me and advise me on my choice of sizing, type of equipment and installation, John was not pushy in anyway and definitely did not oversell, which I really appreciated. From start to completion of the installation John and his team were very efficient, technically knowledgeable, on-time, kept me informed of progress and the team were very polite, neat and tidy. I would have no hesitation to call Fortis for my future projects and would highly recommend their service.

John and his team did an excellent job with my PV and battery installation. John was generous with his time before I ordered, answering all my questions, both technical and aesthetic. He gave some good advice and was not at all pushy on the sales side. A nice change from some of the companies that quoted me. I very highly recommend Fortis. Their work was top notch. I contacted several companies about installing solar panels and a battery system and only Fortis actually engaged with me and discussed the requirements in detail. The sales process was excellent and the installation experience first class. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very accommodating. I would definitely use them again.

After doing extensive research I was very pleased to find a local company with excellent reviews. John is very knowledgeable about many of the systems available on the market. After discussing the various options available I decided on a small solar array of Jinko Solar Tiger panels with Solar Edge inverters, coupled with two Tesla Power Wall batteries and a Wallbox EV charger. His installation team is excellent, very polite and friendly. All their work was expertly performed and I am very happy with the installation and that I am now getting very small energy bills. I was also impressed with John’s pricing as he was able to compete with the bigger national installers and beat their prices for the same equipment. I can see why they have had so many excellent reviews and I have no hesitation in recommending Fortis Electrical and would give them 6 stars if I could.

Excellent experience. The installation of our solar panels and car charger was seamless. Out of four potential installers, John was the only one who noticed our old looped supply and assisted us with the necessary upgrade. He and his team were professional, polite, and tidy. Fortis installed a new solar electrical system of 22 solar panels with batteries on 3 roofs of the house. John visited the house to review and discuss options, was very attentive to a couple of changes that I requested during the quoting process. His installation team were superb - polite, experienced, punctual, tidy. The cabling was extremely neat. A couple of minor teething issues were quickly and efficiently sorted out, and the team followed up to make sure I was completely happy with the finished installation.
