This company poorly fitted two…

This company poorly fitted two extractor fans at a rental property. The picture attached speaks for itself. It does not look like the work of a qualified electrician. I have since got a quote of £250 from a separate electrical company to put right the work. So far hr energy solutions have offered to pay £100 the company that quoted found one of the extractor fans was wired incorrectly and would not leave it like that so rewired it there and then you have been warned

Excellent service.

I had my boiler fitted last year but I had a little problem which was corrected straight away. Yesterday my boiler needed the pressure topped up. Mas and their team called me back straight away and talked my son through it. Service was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone.

Unprofessional

I had a perfectly running central heating system when they arrived. When they left 3 radiators not working, boiler constantly losing pressure. This was on Oct 8th last year. Then there was an issue with my flu location which they said would rectify, 3 visits by eng nothing back, now wont even answer the phone to ask how can the situation be rectified. Help Desk number is a joke, keep saying will come back to me and never do. Would not touch with bargepole.

Very unprofessional workmanship

I've honestly never seen such unprofessional workmanship. When they turned up no credentials were given and no plans were discussed. Windows broken, carpets and furniture damaged, no gas safe registration number for the boiler installation. My copper water tank was taken without my permission. That's plain theft. Just such a bad experience.

Dangerous drivers: While on the roundabout to join the M60, another driver entered the wrong lane and then forced themselves into mine. I had to take evasive action to avoid an accident.

Do not touch this company

Do not touch this company. Awful. Worst work possible. Damaged my property, terrible work, applying sealant with bare fingers. Broken flooring. Broken aspects of my window. When no permission was given to touch the windows. Admitted the damage. Numerous emails to arrange rectifying, date arranged, they did not show up. Do not allow them into your property.

First class service quick and explained everything. Tidied up afterwards no mess left Thanks guys

Not recommended

I called the company as looking to get cavity insulation and they sent a surveyor out to look. Since then, about 4 weeks ago, I have heard nothing. I have called, sent WhatsApp messages and emails to. no avail. Very poor. I had sent all documents they had requested and now worried this is a scam as ID documents included. Would not recommend.

HR WERE FAntastic,,worked,left all rooms clean and tidy very hard,none stop ,left no rubbish,they took. it with them.

What rubbish firm,installed loft insulation ok left multiple scuff marks on walls getting into loft,installed bare minimum trickle vents inwindows(must be expensive bits of plastic) installed vent fans but have never come back to wire them up so will need to pay for that,so much for free installation,minimal clean up,but i suppose they have told govt all ok and drawn their money,just glad didn't do cavity wall insulation

Do not use this company They lie from start to finish Damage your property say they'll pay for the damage but then ignore all your emails Drilled a hole in my kitchen for a vent to go in. No electrition has ever came out to finish the job. So I've a vent that I can't use and everytime the wind blows my kitchen is coverd in dust of the crumbing wall that's been damaged The guys are soo disrespectful I asked them to leave my house so many times to be told 5 minutes. Dumped all my belongings in my attic on my son's bed and broke it. They didn't care when I said to them they just shrugged there shoulders

THIS COMPANY ARE ATROCIOUS. you can see from my post a couple of months ago , this company made an absolute mess of my living room and hall . Yes they gave me compensation for that wallpapering , but I have messaged several times , and was expecting them out today !! They put new radiator valves on and a timer beside the boiler but since installed nothing but issues and the insulation on the living room is not done correctly, when we had the storm done a week past Friday the draft coming from the window was horrendous, they have been told about this numerous times , my gas bill Has gone up due to there errors , why advertise as a company to save and help your energy is beyond me . I have had to cancel joiners and painters as the work could not be done till The window was sorted . They keep asking to sign paperwork but I won’t as the Job has not been done properly and I won’t be taking down my review like they asked . They have been given numerous chances , so I have taken this further . PLEASE BE AWARE AND DONT USE THIS COMPANY

Wow guys are amazing arrived on time very clean and tidy 100% I would recommend this company insulated loft and installed fans in the kitchen and bathroom no mess whatsoever

I recently had H&R Energy Solutions carry out loft insulation and a new boiler installation at my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and friendly. The survey was explained clearly, and they guided me through the process step by step, making everything stress-free. The installers arrived on time, worked neatly, and made sure everything was completed to a high standard. Friendly and excellent work! Delays though finishing the job

Ahsan arrived first and quietly went through everything with me. Then his two colleagues arrived with their tools and equipment. I had been nervous about the process but they worked really well together fitting extractor fans and window vents. They were friendly to have around and cleaned up after each stage. I would recommend them 100%. God bless you in your future endeavours! Update This was a promoted review. Still true but the extractor fans were put in nearly 3 months ago and have still not been connected by one of their electricians. 29 November 2025 Update 2 It is nearing the end of February and I still do not have working extractor fans. Since September no electrician has been sent out.

Completion day

Completion day today. I wanted to write another review as today was our completion day after hard days of the guys grafting I can honestly say it’s been a pleasure to have Khaled and his team in our house they worked so hard and the end result is amazing! I was always told what was happening before work was done & we are very very pleased with the end result our walls are so smooth & the house is feeling so warm…windows ledges are looking fab much better than our old ones so that was a lovely surprise thanks. The team made sure that the house was tidy before leaving & went above and beyond for us. We can’t thank your team enough I would recommend your company and staff all day long! I visited the H&R Energy Solutions website to learn about the free boiler grant scheme. The site was very clear and easy to understand. The information was well presented and the application form was simple to fill in. After applying, the process moved quickly and smoothly. I’m happy to say that I’ve now had my new boiler installed, and everything went as expected. It’s great to see a company make it so easy for people to access the support they’re entitled to. The website played a big part in helping me take that first step.

This company did my father in law's loft insulation and took out a baxi back boiler and replaced it with a full Baxi Combi Boiler heating system. They did all that work in less than 3 days and helped move everything and put it back afterwards. Not only that they tidied up afterwards. I would highly recommend them.

The gentlemen were polite and made me feel at ease whilst at home. Work was carried out effectively, and explained thoroughly with what was happening and the equipment being used. Once work was finished the guys tidied up which was great! And also helped Mum understand the government procedures and funding in place for work to be carried out. Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

I contacted HR Energy solutions do get a boiler and insulation done on our family home, we are based in Brechin, Scotland and after only 3 weeks and a survey, we qualified for free insulation and a free boiler, once it was approved it only took 1 week to get the work started, the 3 workmen Khaled, Mahmood and Ahamd turned up at 12pm on Wednesday afternoon and helped clear the rooms of furniture and were more than helpful and polite, they worked until 6pm and even stayed at a local hotel and returned at 9am on Thursday morning and have now finished at 6.30pm doing the 2 rooms of insulation and re plastering the walls of the 2 rooms, they laid carpet protectors on the routes they needed to use to stop carpets getting ruined and cleaned, hoovered and took all rubbish away, they have made a bit if a mess putting skirting boards back on in both rooms (see pic) which slightly ruins the final look but its not the end of the world, im happy to give them a good review, from first contacting them to insulation being completed its only been 3-4 weeks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
