Great experience with Oli C! He came to check and fix the exhaust fans in all of our bathrooms and did an excellent job. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and clearly an expert at what he does. He checked every bathroom thoroughly, explained what was going on in simple terms. I also consulted him about a few other things around the house, and he was kind enough to help and give useful advice. Professional, friendly, and reliable - highly recommend Oli C.

Andreas worked in our home for two days on some upgrades and remedial work. He was excellent and we’re really happy with the quality of the work. The job took a little longer than hoped and he didn’t rush anything or drop his standards instead he stayed late to finish and make sure everything was as I wanted, and cleaned up thoroughly after. Thanks Andreas!

Everything was completed to a high standard, with careful attention to detail. He is also a very considerate and kind person—polite, respectful, and easy to communicate with throughout the job. This company carried out the original electrical installation and issued EICRs for a block of new-build apartments we manage. During the 10-year EICR inspections, an independent engineer has found serious safety defects in multiple apartments, including no ring continuity, which is a major electrical safety issue. It is extremely concerning that these installations previously passed EICR certification. We raised this directly with the company expecting an urgent response and a solution. Instead, responsibility was denied and no assistance offered. Due to the seriousness of the issues and the lack of accountability, we have now escalated the matter to NICEIC. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company. UPDATE I had already made it very clear to your customer service team that no electrical work has been carried out since you installed the electrics and issued the EICR certificate. I will follow this up with Sue.

We have moved into a new build property and had some minor snags which involved the electrics (to be expected). We have had Sam attend on a few occasions. He has always been very professional, efficient and resolves anything on his first visit.

Absolutely awful driving by Clarkson Evans van this morning on the a429 driving up Cirencester Road from Cheltenham. I was passing a road sweeper driving slowly, when Clarkson Evans van coming opposite direction refused to slow down to allow me past, actually sped up towards me and nearly forced me into the road sweeper, I think the driver for Clarkson Evans was on their mobile and not paying attention.

Just had the amazing Ollie from Clarkson Evans to sort our consumer unit. Professional, polite and clearly highly experienced. He even wore special shoe coverings so as not to get our floor dirty. Absolutely first class service, thank you Ollie. Highly recommended.

Rob came to fix two light fittings and was great. Even helped raise one of the light fittings so it doesn’t bang on the door. Such a nice bloke, would highly recommend!

Work I needed to be carried out was done well, conscientiously and everything left clean and tidy when finished. Oli made sure everything was completed that could be and explained what still needed to be done and why. I had a volley of questions about other electrical things and he answered them all with patience. Would like to just say thank you.

Andrews of Clarkson evan came to connect the ducting between ventilation fan and roof vent. He completed the work with satisfactory. He also answered my queries about the question and shared his experiences. I was appreciated with his working attitude.

Willing to share knowledge about other things electrical that I enquired about; paid attention to detail in the work planned and completed, and helpful in explaining this to me. Also tidied up too. Professional, friendly and polite.

Disgrace of a company. Non existent customer service. Twice they did not turn up to attend an appointment at my new build house (separate issues 3 months apart). No communication to state why. Both times they lied to David Wilson customer service (who tried their best) stating that I was unavailable when I had my phone with me all day. They are content to leave customers with faulty electrics and faulty smoke alarm systems and think it is acceptable for customers to miss work and sit at home all day waiting for engineers who never attend. I hope that New Build Developers change their contractors as Clarkson Evans who give companies such as Barretts / Redrow and David Wilson a poor reputation. You used the same false excuse for your non attendance and the same lies for your non communication both times. You put customers at risk from faulty electrics and smoke alarm systems. I will be reporting you to Health and Safety.

Lee respected our property and our dog both of which are very important to us. Customer service great, checked in with us before arriving. Answered all our questions. Quickly identified the issues with the fuse box and smoke alarms and rectified the problems. Real nice guy. Happy with the job that he did.

Absolutely shocking! I live in a brand new build less then a year old, the extractor fan hasn’t been functioning properly since the day I moved in so I had booked in for a “repair”. They came out to “repair” and this is how they have left it! Completely ruined the paint/ wall and haven’t even fitted the extractor fan properly, to the point where there is now cavity balls dropping from the hole. I was told someone would contact me about another call out for this which I haven’t heard anything about. Why they didn’t just do the job properly in the first place baffles me. Not impressed.
