disgusting company
disgusting company, they refused to repair an ongoing leak in my house or even make it safe, this is the second week I'm wading around in wellies because the water is still pumping out from a broken pipe in my kitchen. I've informed peabody that I'm going to pay a plumber to do the repair & will pay for it out of the rent money, we are in our 60's & disabled so they're discriminating against the disabled & also breaking awaabs law.

What's not to 100% despise about this Company. It's impossible to be constructive. Every time and every job they attend is either not started or not finished but the engineer reports EVERY TIME that the job is completed satisfactorily. Nobody that you need to speak to ever takes a call. I know of 3 people who worked there who swear they would never go back. Yet this Company is allowed to continue to serve public housing with some of the most vulnerable tenants. A pit of inexcusable people, each and every one has been conditioned to lie relentlessly. I pray to God someone sues them and takes the Company down, they should not be allowed to trade and continue to spread misery in everything they do and touch, shameful yet shameless, if they pitch for your business you should NEVER engage them. I'm happy to discuss my review with ANY person from Axis at ANY time but you know that won't happen. BEWARE
Axis attended our property to carry out works and were there for several hours for a job. During this time, one contractor made repeated loud comments about the occupants, including remarks about culture and a perceived language barrier. The nature and tone of the comments amounted to clear racism and hostility. They were made openly inside our home and were overheard by members of the household. A formal complaint has now been raised with our housing association. Based on this experience, and having read other reviews, it does not appear to be a company that prioritises professionalism or customer satisfaction. Very disappointing overall.
Terrible company
Terrible company, emailed them several times....no reply! Phoned them more than several times, was told, pretty much each time that the person I need to speak to would call me back....nobody ever did! Absolute sham of a company....would definitely not recommend!
Beyond a joke water leaking from under the floor brand new carpet completely ruined the pipe in the toilet has burst called at 11.30 am to report the repair told it emergency repair currently near 12 at night not showen at all
New shower was put in early December…
New shower was put in early December since then we’ve had problems with low water pressure. A plumber then an electrician came out both saying it’s the other person’s job. Finally after calling and complaining we had another plumber come out this week - problem still not fixed. Axis cancel every appointment

A cowboy outfit! They left my grandmother, whom is bed bound, end stages of dementia, with no light in the kitchen. They were to send an electrician to replace the light and a plumber to fix the toilet. These were classed ,as emergency repairs. Knowing and dealing with this company, on many occasions, I knew by 3pm, that it would be a no show. I phoned on many occasions and was told, they would contact both men and that both men, would contact me back. I had no phone calls. They also did the same with the site manager. At 5:30pm, I phoned again, the lady whom answered the phone, was arguing with me, saying they would be there by 6pm. She was very rude, then proceeded to have a conversation, with other employees, whilst I was mid conversation. She kept saying, over and over, they are closed now, why answer the phone then? She and the other employees lied!! It's organisations like these, that are corrupt and also laundering money. They will close down, re open under a new name. They need to be looked into! After some research, I can see they already have numerous, lawsuits under their belts from 2025, that is ongoing. All outfits, should use family run companies, give them the business, because these shell companies, are a lie and they do not care, as long as they are paid. They have also, denied any booking was made, to the site manager. They deleted the bookings and assumed, that because of my grandmothers age, she would not be able to pursue this, or give any supporting evidence. Except I am excellent with technology, I have screen shots of the bookings and refs, also telephone recordings, with the employees over the phone. I will take this further, in due course and it will be all over social media. This company should not be aloud, to get away with this! NAME AND SHAME THEM!!

I am very disappointed and upset about axis lack of reliability. I I have been stood twice on a schedule appointment for routine job with no one turning and no explanation whatsoever. I find it unacceptable for professional to behave in such manner.. I was given another for today between 12 -14:00pm only for axis to send someone to me knowing fair well that the person would not be able to undertake the job because the job was not assigned to them to begin with, I think axis think they are smart to cover up by sending someone just to register their attendance even if it means nothing, and that is sheer act of incompetence and deceit. No wonder their rating I'd very poor on trust pilot. Unbelievable!!!

Terrible Service from Axis
Axis are the worst I have come across, Uttlesford District Council ended the repairs/maintenance contract with Norse, always got jobs done within a couple days where possible, but since with Axis the repairs and maintenance work has gone down drastically, they don’t turn up for appointments, they take 3/4 weeks at times before turning up to do necessary work. Needed new outside security light as I am in sheltered Housing, the electrician dropped the new light and smashed it, didn’t have a spare one in his van, this was 3 weeks ago and still hasn’t been to replace it !! Now been rebooked to attend on the 9th January !! Guttering needed unblocking took 3 weeks before they came and sorted, again sub-contractors, they turned up 5 days after original date given !! Biggest problem is they use sub-contractors for all work and they only fit in jobs when they are in the area, they travel from far and wide. The council have serious ongoing issues with this company which need to be sorted !!!
They are a complete joke. State of what is supposed to be repairing damp! Whole wall and ceiling needs striping back not just patches. Then they painted over it! Didn't sand or fill properly just dodged it as quickly as possible. Will share also when finished. Workman worked 3 hrs yesterday of a 8 till 5 days (he was gone by 3) today so far has done one HR work and gone for break, it's 9.45am currently, he only just got here a 8.35. DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS now changed their name to CARDIO but same dodgy staff, just changed their name from shame.

Axis were meant to repair the kitchen waste pipe on my property. After cancelling my appointments for months and constant following up over the phone, someone attended but said they didn’t have the right tools and would only be able to tape it up and someone else would have to come later. Weeks later, the person with the right tools attended. As well as refusing to fix the pipe, they damaged it further, leaving in a worse condition than the sellotape job. I am in the process of formally complaining and will escalate to the ombudsman if the complaint isn’t resolved to my satisfaction. Photos show the original problem, the sellotape repair, and the damage left by the most recent Axis employee. It’s disgusting that a company can operate like this.

I have water leaking through my bathroom ceiling, these jokers told me on Thursday they would send emergency plumber in 6 hours nobody showed up They said the same thing on Friday morning, Friday afternoon I called again was assured they were on way but they didn't show. It's now Monday I called them this morning was told plumber coming in 6 hours again and yet again nobody has showed up. These people are an absolute joke!

Unfortunately the people on their team lack general capacity to do their job to a reasonable standard. Many appointments havnt been attended and they have avoided explanation or acknowledgement when writing to them. A thoroughly unenjoyable service dealing with this company. I wonder if anyone higher up could have a proper look at what is going on as it needs some serious training
Councils wasting money on subpar contractors AGAIN
It really makes me wonder how these companies get contracts. Im predicting its backhanders or just idiocy of the people making the decisions. While bank rolling 80k+ of the back of local authorities in wages. Which by the way is taxpayers money. Anyway, this company clearly have a bad reputation, all you need to do is a quick Google search to see that. Yet, Wolverhampton Homes reward them with a 3 million pound contract. They are utterly useless, we've had issues with the garage over the 26+ years of living at the property. Previously, the repairs werent sent to this company, and the garage door was fixed within the week. Two weeks maximum if a part needed ordering. Axis were sent the job nearly 8 weeks ago now, not heard a word from anyone. I called, two days ago around 3:30pm, ow sorry that team gone home for the day now I'll take your details and get them to give you a call. Home? The whole team that manages Wolverhampton Home' contract? Probably only like 2-3 people but still can you not make sure someone is there? It wasnt a massive surprise, I didnt get a call back. So, I call again, she said ow I'll have to take some details to get my colleague to give you a call back. Shes on lunch at the moment. Again? One person .... I explained my frustrations twice, the lady didnt even acknowledge my frustrations. She just ignored it, and after I provided my details I explained its such a poor service, she didn't care one bit. Ive done customer service for 12 years, where do they employee these people from? ....because its shocking quality of service. At this point, I'd be advising you to avoid. But, unfortunately its the ridiculous local authorities picking them on our behalf.

Upon speaking to the company everyone is nonchalant about it a full police investigation is underway and when they are found out they will be prosecuted disgraceful behaviour the company employing thieves and stealing from people at vulnerable times

Issues With my boiler no heating or hot water having recently come out of hospital needing carers to help wash me, and stay warm. Given I am 66 years of age. After last engineer visit it was agreed and confirmed a Fan needed to be ordered & to be replaced and the date set for the 29th of October PM visit to my home to carry out the job. Today was absolutely horrified to read a text from axis claiming they’ve now pushed this date to the 19th of November 3 & half weeks away! More so the last engineer that visited my home claimed “we’re all a bit green about these Baxi boilers” Although thankfully he used his initiative and checked with his old boss who claimed the fan needed to be replaced. The engineer contacted the department ordered the fan in front of me on his phone and confirmed in front of me the date to collect the fan was the 29th of October & the date to fit the fan was confirmed with me 29th of October PM visit. How can they treat council tenants like this it’s utterly disgusting and unacceptable. If I don’t get any satisfaction from Axis today in regards to this visit that was confirmed, I’ll be contacting my local MP & local Gazette. “How council tenants are being treated or rather mistreated”. Thankfully after sending several emails of Complaints & contacting Brentwood Borough Council today the Engineer came out & fixed the New Fan. Although BBC claim Axis had no knowledge of date of appointment been changed. Someone is clearly lying as I’ve emails & text to prove this. Which I have sent to BBC as proof timed & dated.

Did not keep the Friday morning appointment for a wet room shower pump engineer ,sent out a drainage clearing engineer at 19.15pm on the Friday when a electric wet room water shower pump was faulty which was confirmed by drainage engineer . Had to wait until the Monday to call Axis as they only take emergency calls at the weekend ,then the call centre handler would not book another appointment until Axis had recievd the report from the drainage company so now without a shower and I'm disabled. The residents at the housing association I'm with have nothing but problems with Axis fom keeping appointments poor work and rude operatives.
retrofit on our home was shambolic rude staff /never turning up on time /no communication and site manager was elusive and could never give answers. staff were handymen not tradesmen .complained many times but got no clear answers .avoid this company

I Don't know much about there Work, But Driving through Sible Hedingham / Weathersfield, Essex.. Where One of there Employees Was based, I had him, Angrily Shouting a load of Insulting Crap though his window screen, for No reason, ! If that's how they talk to there Customers, Or any one else for That matter, They should be getting the Sack.
Dangerous. A van with the number plate ending in FXJ, on the A12 was cutting and serving. They must have not only been on their phone but trying to cause an accident. DO NOT TRUST PEOPLE LIKE THIS!!

Axis Warwick branch. Communication out of everything. Arranged an appointment to fix things. Nobody showed up. When we called, they said he stuck with previous job and can't come. Worst part,they didn't inform and put all blame on us. Couldn't ever understand what for.
The incompetence of this company is exhausting. No hot water for 10 days. First workman came, switched the water heater off 6 days later another arrived but didn't have the spanner to do the work, no indication of when they will be out to fix it. Also reported that the shower pump isn't working was given a date for 2 weeks time, after telling them we have no hot water and now no shower they have given me a date for next Monday 6 days time so until then, no shower and no hot water. We are pensioners in our 70's. Absolutely disgusting.

Well it's been months without a working shower ,having to be dealing with sink washes , we have had about 7 engineers out hoping for working shower to be installed but nothing but empty promises it's not doing me and wife and step son any good with the health issues we have, this company is a joke
The incompetence of this company is exhausting. No prior communication to arrange a visit. 3 workmen arrived 15 minutes apart all to survey the same job. A 4th workmen arrived 2 days later, again to survey the same job. And again today a 5th workman arrived to survey the same job. All oblivious to each other! What an absolute waste of tenants service charges. If this was a company dealing with private sector houseing I’m sure they would be in court by now, but sadly as they deal with councils and housing associations I can see their standards are irrelevant. A million pound a year on a five year contract, I would say they are laughing all the way to the bank

A joke had no power in house was told could take ,24 hours to come out when asked why had they not got electrision in area they said they did not know when I said you have trackers on all you vans he said they don't when I informed him my step son was sub contracted to fit trackers to all there vans he went quite van turned up 15 minutes later after waiting 8 hours and being fed lies we knew the problem all he did was isolate a socket as he could not repair it said that will be in touch we will see I recon we won't here back they are a usless company before when had problem with door not shutting the lady I spoke to had very basic English even the fitter who turned up said don't understand her when she speaks gives wrong info and should not be employed by them
Got referred to Axis. Spoke to lady named Mariana who was absolutely no help and talked down to me over the phone and now they are subcontracting work which they should have not done as the work was taken away from them. Absolute joke of a company. Can't even get through to them over the phone as you have to wait over 1hr.
Incompetence Having a message at 16.20 to say an operative is on their way to fix a TWO person water tank problem when they finish work at 1800 at-home is a real JOKE! This is typical of how useless Axis is when you waste a whole days to wait in for an important appointment. At least the operative got home on time with a full day's pay because he couldn't be bothered to come anywhere near our house or apologise for not turning up.
I have waited in 6 times so far for contractor to come for an appointment originally booked 2 months ago. Each time they cancelled on the day, so that's 6 days of annual leave used up. Never, ever use Axis - no other company can be this bad surely.
If I could give minus 1, I would l. Absolutely appalling service . I have been chasing repairs since the 29/11/2024, axis constantly set dates and then don’t turn up. When you do call them they try to blame the housing association Peabody for their incompetence. I’ve had a toilet which has not been working properly and a crumbling ceiling plasterboard in my bathroom. I was advised by the Axis electrician that the plasterboard was in a bad state and was actually a safety risk. After failing to book in the correct repairs for over 3 weeks, someone arrived today without any knowledge that he had to change the plasterboard. He then contacted his colleague (scheduler) Tajrin Zoarder, who now says there’s no dates available until mid Jan. My question is that if this has been considered a health and safety issue, why has this been allowed to ignored for so long? I now have high confidence that Axis does in fact ignore customer reports as when I asked if Tajrin could check my other repair work for the toilet which has not been functioning properly, (not realising she was on loudspeaker) she told the electrician that ‘she doesn’t have time for that’ and that ‘he should tell me to contact Peabody’, despite me saying that I had spoken to Peabody just 20 minutes before. I have raised the issue with the toilet over 6 times and spoken to axis just a few days ago to confirm the works will be done. The electrician who arrived today, apologised for the fact that I have been given the run around for over 3 weeks with no works being completed. Your workmen have been completely humble and genuinely do want to do their job, but don’t have the support for their colleagues in other teams who either don’t have interest in their jobs and aren’t passing on the right notes. Axis team- I highly recommend your staff are retrained on what customer service is. If you continue to hire people like Tajrin, who have no empathy and are completely dismissive and disrespectful, you will continue to get reviews like mine and the people below. I am still waiting for my toilet to be fixed and please for the love of Christ, stop ending the call on people. I have called twice since 8am, and having not been able to get through I request a call back. When someone does call, who I presume might be Tajrin, she ends the call straight away. Absolutely pathetic!
The customer service is extremely poor. For example, when you take time off work for an appointment with a contractor, they either don't show up or arrive at a time that was not agreed upon. The manager is responsible for their staff and needs training. If they lack competence and education, they should not be managing staff.
