SMS Carlisle ripoff quotes!

SMS Carlisle quoted us £1.8K to fix one string down on roof which had two strings of 10 panels fitted ( £3.5K if they had to supply scaffolding!) needless to say we got a local company who charged us £400 for the scaffolding. We had to pay this quote before they would start work, Their subcontractors, two lads, arrived and had the problem fixed in under two hours. They will not refund any of the quote! So be aware, they charged us approx £500 per engineer per hour!! Nice little earner eh???
