My mother had a Solax Inverter and Batteries installed a month ago at her home. Everything was explained in detail by Jo at Barri Davies Electrical Ltd and she also provided on-going support when needed. (This equipment was new to us as they are for most people.) Installed solar and battery system via the Green Homes Wales scheme. Brilliant service, with an extremely competitive price whilst using high quality materials. Was able to get everything sorted quickly despite us needing a G99 approval for a 5kw inverter, and everything was fitted by a brilliant group of local workers who even worked around a wasp nest in our loft without fuss. The company replaced a failed inverter and installed a smoke alarm in the attic. They also replaced a shower switch. Office staff were very helpful in arranging for the work could be done promptly. Huw did the work in the house and he was excellent in carrying out the work.

The staff are approachable, knowledgeable and friendly and explained everything clearly, answering all of my queries. Great service throughout, would recommend to anyone.

We had solar panels, solar battery, hot water diverter and EV charger installed by Barri Davies Electrical. The team (both on site and in the office) were great to work with and the installations were very neat. There were some teething problems with the EV charger and they were very tenacious in following through with the manufacturer until everything was working as required. A great experience from start to finish. Barri was very professional and knowledgable and arranged a suitable system for our very complicated roof. We have different materials and elevations and all was taken into consideration in the detailed report and cost breakdown. The Huawei system can deal with the different roof pitches and matched to the 10kWh battery storage is ideal for our needs. The installation team were great. All were friendly and professional and were very tidy with no mess. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Huw installed the App on my phone and explained everything in detail. A very user friendly FusionSolar app. Office staff are great in keeping in touch with dates and timings. Barri should be very proud of the team and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I recently had solar panels and a battery storage system installed through a 0% interest loan from the Development Bank of Wales, and I am thoroughly impressed with the service provided by Barry Davies Electrical Ltd. From the initial consultation, Barry himself took the time to visit my home, carefully designing a system tailored to my property and offering clear, impartial advice on the most suitable solution. His expertise and genuine approach gave me full confidence in the project. The installation team arrived promptly at 08:30 and took the time to explain the day’s plan. When I returned home from work at 17:15, I was amazed to find the entire system fully installed and operational—I was already generating my own electricity! In addition, Barry recommended the installation of Rointe electric radiators, to replace my old storage heaters, which have transformed the way I heat my home. I now have full control of my heating via a mobile app, adding both convenience and efficiency. From the first contact the service delivered by everyone was professional and friendly. During the site visit, Barri provided a clear explanation of how the solar panel, battery and load diverter for the immersion heater would work. The follow-up information pack that was provided was clear and gave estimates of usage and savings. The quote was fully itemised and easy to understand. The team of four that installed the panels, battery and diverter did an excellent job, which was completed within a day. The work was completed to an excellent standard and they ensured that everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the job. I was given a clear explanation of the GivEnergy website/app and how to track the energy produced and usage along with advice on how to use the system to its best effect. I will definitely be using the company for any other electrical work. It was a very positive experience dealing with this company and I am happy to recommend them.

Selecting the right solar powered system can be quite daunting when you first look into it. You get plenty of advice, most of it different, so it's difficult deciding who to put your faith in. I am glad to say, I made the right choice. The system supplied exceeded my expectations (and they were high!). Very neat efficient service. The guys were excellent. I am more than happy to recommend their services to anyone.

I don't think you will find better. I had solar panels and a battery fitted recently and ALL I CAN SAY IS. The lads that turned up were Very polite, Respected my property, Got on with the job, and above all left the house tidier than when they came. Great boss and company to deal with. :)

Alan is helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and conscientious. Great series of large and small jobs on our church, from rewiring to fixing a few sockets.
