The complete replacement of our home solar system this year was executed flawlessly. The technician delivered outstanding service from start to finish, including the successful repair of our solar communication system, which now allows for seamless monitoring via the app. His work was fast, tidy, and highly professional. I am extremely pleased with the results and confidently recommend him for any solar installation or repair needs.

Excellent customer service. We had solar panels, and batteries fitted and the whole process was smooth and efficient. Since that time I have had a couple of minor issues, and the team have been exceptionally helpful with over the phone advice and supplying me a new WiFi dongle as an emergency at very late notice. We needed a new roof. I chose Electrical Energy based on the reviews here and the fact they provided the whole range of services needed and it was a smaller local company. Danny came out and discussed an inset panel system, stripping the roof back to the trusses and putting up new felt and battens. The quote came through and whilst not the cheapest we decided to proceed with Electrical Energy. The work crew turned up on the appointed day and early. They very quickly stripped the roof and got the new battens and felt in place the same day. The installation was completed on time and the sparky took me through the system so I understood how it worked and how to isolate it (as I had another job to do on the electrics). There were a couple of hiccups as there are with any job this size, but these were resolved quickly and without fuss. The work crew were professional and even did a couple of little jobs for me whilst the scaffold was in place! I am very pleased with the standard of work and would not hesitate to recommend them if you need a new roof in addition to a Solar PV install.

Shortly after moving into this bungalow, we had Solar PV panels installed by what one can only describe as a rogue company. The installation caused my problems such as tripping the electrical supply. After four years we decided to get things put right and selected Electrical Energy Ltd. Danny took time to explain the faults on the existing system and how we could not just put things right but make great improvements. The team from Electrical Energy completed the work professionally, with minimal disturbance. They were polite, courteous and punctual, their professional hard-working approach made for a pleasant experience. We now have a solar panel and battery system that is installed to a high standard we, can also monitor how the system performing via an app. I can only say, what excellent service around and too boot, the team also rescued a baby pigeon from our roof and rehoused it, many thank guys.

After getting several quotes we settled for Electrical Energy as they are a local firm we had seen being used around our area, they came out and answered all our questions and listened to where we wanted the batteries to be placed. We have just had Solar panels and batteries fitted today by Martin and the two lads who came on time, were very tidy and answered any questions we had and helped set up the app, followed by a phonecall from Danny to check everything had been completed to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them.

Had solar with batteries installed this week by Electrical Energy and extremely pleased with the whole process. Danny visited my home for a survey unlike other companies that survey via Google maps so we got a proper quote that suits our needs and not a generic fits all approach. Install say the installers all turned up on time and were friendy and professional at all times and did an outstanding job. Just have to sit back and enjoy the sunny days now. If anything the benefits are even greater than I expected. My only regret is that I didn't install a system years ago! Givenergy EV charger installation

They installed a Givenergy EV charger for me, James turned up bang on 08:00 as arranged, installed the charger and the other electrical equipment required, all very neat, explained how it works and left the site as clean as he found it. I'm very satisfied with the whole process.

Quick response, call out & fixed.

Electric Energy were very quick to respond to a problem with our EPS switch, when Electricity North West decided to schedule an upgrade to the power supply in our area. So we had emergency power supply during the outage! Thank you Danny, (and the guys).

He was very thorough and put our minds at rest – and his skill and expertise ultimately meant that we avoided having to have an extra meter box fitted to the house. The install went incredibly smoothly: the team didn’t stop all day and did an excellent job. Roof tiles all went back so well that it’s impossible to tell which ones had been removed. Full marks all round! We had a minor issue with the inverter occasionally not discharging properly, and were impressed by the level of technical support we received to sort out the problem. My experience of Electrical Energy

In 2019, Electrical Energy fitted a Giv Energy battery for me. The installation was carried out expertly, to a high standard and thankfully the battery has performed well. Last year, I ordered a plug-in hybrid and contacted EE for their recommendations of a charger to integrate with my existing solar equipment. A Zappi charger was duly fitted to the same high standard and I'm pleased to say it is working well. Just want some sunshine now to take advantage of pure solar power. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend EE to any one needing help with any solar equipment.

I have had three jobs done by Electrical Energy. They have all been carried out to My my satisfaction the first job was fitting three batteries which had to be fitted in a pacific position, so my car would fit in. This was carried out by George and James, who did a First class job. Second was fitting of an extra battery by George this again was the first class job. Third job was the fitting of solar panels carried out by George again, who takes Great care And pride in what he does. It is a revelation to see people who come to do jobs for you take pride and what they do. I would not have no Hesitation in recommending Electrical Energy. 100%.

First class company to use

We didn’t use Electrical Energy to install the original solar panels but wish we had. Electrical Energy installed some extra batteries for us and despite them being unfamiliar with our battery system they did an exceptional job for which we are extremely grateful. Right from the first contact with them they went above and beyond to help us. The staff are brilliant, helpful, knowledgeable, courteous – I could go on. Kept us informed every step of the way. Electrical Energy have just installed our solar system and battery in Cleveleys. From day one they were brilliant, Keith took me through our options, then George and James were ace when installing the system and Jess has been lovely and on hand to answer questions and arrange everything. I cannot recommend them enough and will be passing their details on to anybody who asks us about our system 😄

Electrical Energy have recently installed our solar system in Lancaster (16x 410w panels, invertor and battery bank) and have provided an excellent service throughout. We have had some unexpected issues with our flat roof, causing a delay to installation but they were on hand, often at unsociable hours to accomodate our ever changing schedule. This was one of the most expensive bits of our build overall so we were a little nervous about who to go with at first, but the whole sales, scheduling, installation and commissioning went really really well and we've already recommended Electrical Energy to people we know.

We recently moved into our property which had Solar Panels already installed. Never having had experience with solar panels before we contacted the installer Electrical Energy for advice as to how it all worked. Within a week we had one of their team out to our house and the engineer explained everything we needed to know and understand the system. Excellent service

Absolutely fantastic service from giving advice on what we would need and giving us a quote, installing and after care support. The installers did an excellent job fitting the panels. They turned up when they said, worked efficiently as a team and cleared up afterwards. The whole team were always happy to help with any questions we had before, during and after installation and organised all the trades people to work together so that everything including some roofing work we needed doing, could be done in just a couple of days. We are really pleased with our solar panels and storage batteries and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Good quality solar & battery install

I had solar panels, 2 x 8.2kWh batteries and a hybrid GivEnergy inverter installed approx. 1 year ago by Electrical Engergy. The price was fair (lower than other quotes) and the install was quick, tidy and painless. No problems since install.

They made it all so easy and the result looks great!

After much deliberation we decided to install panels and battery. Many Suppliers in the area but the one that we "clicked" with was Electrical Energy. The price was fair, the people all friendly and efficient and the work done to a high standard. In essence everybody was helpful, patient, informative and nothing was too much trouble. The star however was the other Matt who had to spend a day and a half on our roof installing the gear in some of the highest temperatures this year so far!

We recently used Electrical Energy Ltd to install a solar/battery system at our home in the Lakes. I cannot recommend the team at Electrical Energy highly enough for the straightforward and professional way in which our request was dealt with throughout each stage from the initial enquiry, quote, site survey, installation and administration. After searching online and having numerous visits from other companies we noticed a neighbour was having solar panels fitted. We emailed the company and Matt rang us a few hours later to make an appointment to come and discuss it with us. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. Our neighbours told us they were very pleased with the service they had received so we decided to go ahead. The fitting team (Matt, George and James) turned up when we were told they would and worked tirelessly throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. James even set up the apps on our mobile phones for us and explained how they worked. They left everything clean and tidy. They were very pleasant and well mannered. Great advice and prompt installation of the Givenergy AC inverter and batteries for both solar and grid charging. Really helpful in getting the cabling and new Consumer Unit scheduled in so we could have an EV charger in the next day too. Happy with performance so far thanks, would recommend.

Terrible untrustworthy liars

Terrible untrustworthy liars, lacking skill and knowledge. Was visited by the salesman who designed a solar panel and battery system. I signed up to a three part contract totalling £13,600, first payment on agreeing the work, second payment on all parts in stock and fitting date confirmed, third payment on completion. I Made the first payment Waited 2 months and had a new roof installed with scaffolding left up for the solar fitting. Agreed a date for fitting solar, made second payment. 48 hours before the solar was due to be installed I was told (by phone) by the salesman that the system he designed won’t work and they would have to install a more expensive system. They would wave all profit on the job but still wanted another £800 to do the job. On the phone I disagreed and did not want to pay more than the fixed quote price we had both signed on the contract. I then received an email from the salesman saying I agreed to the changes, I called the boss of the company and he said “the salesman got the design wrong and he was wrong to do that”. I mentioned the price increase and that we had a fixed price, but he glossed over that saying the more expensive panels were available right away and could be fitted next week, no delay, this leaving me thinking that the price was included in the mistakes the salesman made and that he was wrong to do a price increase and a faulty design, Also I had a signed contract at an agreed price. The solar panels were fitted, a day later I went up to check the work as it was done whistle I wasn’t at the property, what I found were multiple broken tiles stuck back together with silicon some even cracked all the way across and glued so that a silicon joint was holding up 2/3 of a whole tile, I eventually got through to the boss again, I explained I wasn’t happy with the work and that the damage had been hidden and nothing said, when I brought this up with the boss a torrent of excuses came down with he’s expanding his business, extending the office, putting in new phones, switching to pc’s over laptops, hiring new call handlers and most importantly sacking and struggling to hire roofers. I said I don’t want his roofers back on my roof and he agreed to pay for the damage to the tiles. Another date was arranged for the electrician to finish the install funny because originally the whole fit was to be done in a day but took 3 days spread over a month and when they left they couldn’t say what day they would be back, also the office was only open Monday, Wednesday and Friday so communication was very poor, that includes email. So the install was completed and I was sent the bill form a contract I didn’t sign or agree to, I challenged it and stated I wanted £100 off the original price for the damage the boss said he would cover. But no, apparently me still wanting the job doing and letting them do it means they can basically charge what they want. Also letting me do my own repairs thinking they would pay for their damages means I couldn’t then hold them to a 14 day right to repair. Fact is the left it unsafe and tried to hide it and iv small kids, don’t even bear thinking about. Eventually they agreed to only overcharge me by £400 not £800 tho legal advice did say there was a case the costs of chasing it means I just had to pay. So, can’t design a working solar system. (There was a further issue with a wireless connection to the meter that turned into a wired connection so a neater cheeper original quote ended up more expensive and with trunking up one side and down the other on my house.) Can’t work on a new roof without causing damage then hide it. If they get things wrong customer pays. Contracts mean nothing happy to break it. Communication poor to impossible. I just feel like the scam is to leave you waiting expecting something then wait till your paying rent on scaffolding and up the price to just a little less than a dismantlement and erecting a new scaffold would cost, funny that the more expensive panels were available immediately after waiting months on the agreed lower price for the others. I’m also not the only person they have done this too because they knew my system wouldn’t work because they had already tried it on someone else’s roof, who knows what they paid or how many broken tiles were hidden

Electrical Energy Solar Install

Recently had a full solar install completed at the beginning of October which included solar panels, 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery, and a 3.6kWh Hybrid Inverter. The system is fantastic and has been working from day one, the install was done professionally and the installers have done a great job. Time Delays If anyone is looking for a solar install in the current climate - do not expect this to be completed in the next week or even month. With the microchip shortage and current war in Ukraine - there is a global shortage of everything. So anything related to a solar install is impossible to get a hold of. If you don't believe the installers - check the suppliers, theres sometimes a 6 month lead time (Tesla Powerwall is 2 years). Even the DNO certificates can take up to 3 months for the install which requires nothing. If you want a more powerful system over 4kWh - this can take 6 months. Do not expect this process to be quick and completed within 3 months. Install The install was done over a period of 4 weeks - again this was down to delays with equipment not arriving as promised. There was a slight miscommunication with the landscaping team not turning up to dig a trench, however I was able to do this myself. Once this was done, we had no issues with the install. All the scaffolding was erected and disassembled in a timely manner and both the roofers and electricians did an excellent job - really happy with how it looks. Even made the panels on the roof uniform so it wasn't uneven. All the available certificates came through a couple of days after the job was commissioned. The System The system is fantastic. Had no issues with it, the dashboard works really well and the commissioning was done on the day and haven't had to had the installers back. There are a few issues related to the SoC on the battery provided by GivEnergy, but this is apparently across all batteries, but is related to GivEnergy. They are currently trying to fix this as it is a known issue. Apart from this, the system has already started saving us a huge amount of money, even in winter when the sun is at its lowest. Overall we have been happy with the install provided by Electrical Energy. They are a local company and will come out to do the quote, rather than over the phone and build a system around your needs. I would use them again in the future.
