Solar and battery system install as part of eco retrofit. Good communication for the most part. Well trained, courteous staff who seem to enjoy the challenge. Only hard part is getting hold of clear info on site preparation, partly because we (owner and site electrician) are not familiar with the technology. It feels like this side could be better. Having said that the installers were helpful and worked well with our guys on site to ensure airtightness was kept, and the solar panels installed nicely into the roof.

From the initial contact through the survey, the quote, the installation and the paperwork this has been probably the best experience of any work we’ve ever had done. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

The entire process from start to finish was very professional and I found the pricing very competitive. The team doing the installation was excellent and the complete installation was done in 1.5 days. Carbon Legacy have installed a Tesla domestic battery system, and a Zappi EV Car Charger, last week. We had lots of questions up front, and yet they could not have been more helpful. The installation team were efficient, courteous and good natured. The system is working well. The Heat Pump is still to come... it was their suggestion not to install it just before Christmas in case of minor snags - typical of their thoughtful approach. Thank you!

still waiting for invertar three months latter

I have had solar edge to fit solar panels and battery ten years ago perfect job until six months ago a fault appeared I needed a new inverter I was informed it was under guarantee, many phone calls and e mails later, inverter in stock, but three months later still waiting and no solar power for six months. I am extremally disappointed .

Just had a solar PV and battery system installed by Carbon Legacy. It has been a pleasure from start to finish. There were a number of challenges with the grid in my street which the team were able to help get fixed before their bit could start. The installation was super efficient with everyone involved doing the roof work, electrical, scaffolding all doing a great job, super courteous and helpful. The system is up and running flawlessley. Even generated more than I expected on a very gloomy November day. Overall I can't recommend CabonLegacy highly enough and I hope to be back for a heat-pump from them in the future.

I have no hesitation in recommending Carbon Legacy. We had solar panels installed with a battery system. The whole process went well from start to finish. We received good advice from knowledgeable people about the best system for us. The installation went well. There was one little hiccup as a couple of tiles were cracked on the roof but Carbon Legacy returned immediately to put this right. A great company to do business with.

Our solar panels were fitted around 18 months ago by Carbon Legacy and we've been really pleased with everything The company were solution-focused from the start with the design and didn't push the battery option - which we didn't want. The fitters were superb, on time, professional, tidy and friendly. We were given an excellent run through on how everything worked, the app set up and all the follow up documentation was supplied promptly by Carbon Legacy. The solar panels worked perfectly but when we recently had a problem with information display on the Solis App due to a new BT router in the house, Carbon Legacy were really helpful and came out to update the wifi connector on the panel for free. So the aftercare service is really good as well not just the initial fitting. A 5 - star recommendation from me for Carbon Legacy. If only all companies were like this?

We couldn't rate the team at Carbon Legacy highly enough. Having wanted to invest in solar for some time, our initial review of the solar installation market was frustrating. We received a wide range of prices from pressure sellers, energy companies and even DIY retailers - all trying to sell us installs without explaining what we were buying. We were recommended Carbon Legacy and haven't looked back. They took care to listen to our requirements to work towards a high quality system that would work for us, whilst educating us on solar along the way. In terms of the install, everything was handled with a great deal of care, friendliness and professionalism and we were left with a system that meets the needs of our household and is already exceeding predicted outputs. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carbon Legacy.

In the middle of the price range; not too cheap, not too expensive. Would I choose Carbon Legacy if I were to install another solar/battery storage system? Yes.

I really cannot recommend the team highly enough and I am astonished there aren't swathes of excellent reviews for them. The team went over and above to provide an excellent quality install that truly considered our needs and our home, the install team were very hard working and very skilled. The back office team were great too, always keeping me updated with progress. I had solar fitted to a pitched roof and flat roof, a tesla powerwall and a zappi car charger. I am a professional in retrofit and renewables and I know the good from bad, these guys are excellent.

Just had Carbon Legacy install an 11kw integrated solar system on my east and west roof plus a Tesla Powerwall 3 13.5kw battery. They did an excellent job from initial contact, design evaluation, and installation. The whole team (roofers and electricians were excellent). Chris and the roofers did a great job and Chris took me through how the integrated system worked. Connor and Harvey left me this morning with a fully functioning system. The integrated panels look great. All in all a happy customer! Special thanks to James who led system design and the contract and was my single point of contact throughout. James did an excellent job particularly when we had to modify the design following DNO operating conditions from northern Powergrid. His knowledge, responsiveness and quality of your work was superb and made the difference when I was deciding who to go with.

We recently had 16 solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 with gateway installed by Carbon Legacy. From our initial inquiry to full installation, the process took just under two months (including the Christmas holidays and the DNO application). Mike’s initial visit was friendly, knowledgeable, and pressure-free. He and his colleagues provided two solar panel configurations to choose from. Visiting their premises gave us confidence in an era of online scams, and their quote was very competitive. Both the Solar and Powerwall installation teams were professional, accommodating, and happy to answer questions. Their work was neat, the site was left tidy, and they were respectful of our home throughout the two-and-a-half-day installation. Every staff member we interacted with was consistently friendly and efficient, ensuring smooth paperwork and communication. We are extremely pleased with our new system and the care Carbon Legacy put into every stage. We would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Solar Installation completed within two weeks. Fantastic job. From initial contact with Mike in Sales, speaking to Claire in the office, provision of contracts, invoicing and payments - it has been efficient and professional from start to finish. The lads working onsite doing the install were a joy to have around. Paddy and the boys were polite and friendly and left the place clean and tidy every day. We'll miss having them around! The equipment installed is also top quality. I would highly recommend Carbon Legacy and would definitely use their services again

We chose Carbon Legacy from three local quotes, all experienced and trustworthy suppliers. Carbon Legacy had the best approach to the new Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries and seemed to give the best advice, e.g. fitting 3 strings of PV panels to optimise our generation, relocating the TV aerial to avoid bird droppings on the panels. Every aspect of the installation was most professional.

An absolutely first class, quality install, with friendly installers that explained exactly how the system worked. I am now able to run my house on the "off-peak" 7p per kWh rate, rather than the 25p per kWh rate, simply by using the Tesla Powerwall 3 battery. It will save me a fortune. This company really deserves more reviews. I checked out quite a few competing companies when pricing up installing our solar and battery installation. Carbon Legacy came out twice after I considered starting again in a completely new location and were really professional throughout. Install date was ahead of schedule, no add on costs and they came out for a check-up when something was flagged up by the system. The installation carried out by the electrician was very well done and extremely neat with hidden cable routing I wouldn't have attempted. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, the service is good and the prices are as good as you will get for the specification in my experience.
