We had solar and battery installed, really helping with my fuel bills. Love that I can see what I am saving and what I am using, made me more aware to save money, installers were great and love Yorkshire Tea now!!!

I was skeptical about using the government grant after reading mixed reviews but I decided to go ahead and make an enquiry with Impact Energy. It was the best decision I made absolutely brilliant from start to finish the work was all done within 1 week the installation guys left my house spotless and I was kept up to date with what was happening. Makail and Roberto were fantastic if your having doubts about applying for the grant do it but make sure you use Impact Energy there reliable and your guaranteed a clean house and a fantastic finish THANK YOU GUYS 🙂

Scouse cowboys

Started off with three days notice of installation. Moldovan team arrived and worked really hard, 7am till 7-8pm for a week. The insulation work was very good and clean. That was the only positive. Next week the plumbing team arrived. A young lad who was very considerate and tidy then an older chap who was the worst plumber I have seen. His pipework has more creases than Norah Batty's stockings. He never cleaned up after himself. He allowed the black sludge from a radiator to run onto the carpet and just left it. The carpet is ruined. He had little consideration for my property. While the family were eating he marched in and put a drill covered in brick dust together with a large tool box in amongst our food. He took exception to some other workmen who were working on another project at the time. So much so they left. A number of electricians came and went. They fitted an extractor fan in the bathroom. However they did not connect the vent duct to an outside location. It just sits in the room above. After eight weeks it is still not fixed. We had been told that the heating and hot water would be off for two days. It took ten days to have heat and hot water restored. Apparently there was a fault in the houses earthing. We had National Grid out who inspected the system and found no problem on their side of the system, the fault was something that should have been checked prior to the installation starting. Eventually a new earthing system installed the system was switched on. It took a couple of days to settle down and the house is now much warmer. Solar panels had also been installed but sub contracted out to a local company who did a clean tidy job. They fitted trickle vents to my double glazed windows. I told them NOT to fit them as the windows are under warranty. Needless to say somebody cut the rubber window gaskets and fitted them Thet leak when it rains. They are so noisy I may not bother having the double glazing. And the warranty is now void. Now you ask the admin team for assistance and they do not respond. When the work is completed they are supposed to do a full handover, this never happened. There are apps to allow the homeowner to monitor the solar and heat pump. This was never transferred to me. I have no control over anything now. The bathroom extractor is wired off of the ceiling light. It is blowing moist and smelly air into the room above. The light itself has come away from the ceiling and is just hanging. The final straw for me was after they had left I had to start putting everything back into place. I noticed some of my tools were not were I had left them. They were not cheap but quality expensive tools. I checked the whole house and there were a number of tools missing. I reported it to the installation manager who has failed to respond. Along with any other member of the staff. I would NOT recommend having these people do any work in your home. The Moldovan crew were excellent but the rest no. The materials used were cheap.

Impact Energy fitted new boiler and under floor insulation. lovely team of lads done clean n tidy job even with boiler being in awkward place this was October 2020. I've just had them back out to sort out small problem I had with insulation...Mikail was straight on it. the problem was rectified within a week. so id definitely give them 11 out of 10 for installation, customer services and after care. 1st class thank you

I would like to thank everyone who helped install the air source heating system at my house in Cumbria. Every trade was very professional and knowledgeable in their own right and all work was to a high standards. It was a pleasure to get to know so many people. Some of which also worked long hours to make sure the work was completed in record time. I would also like to thank especially Mikael in the main office, he kept me informed about everything and also sorted out a few problems along the way, which made a great difference to me. The Moldova insulation & plastering…

The Moldova insulation & plastering team that Impact Energy use are probably the hardest working, conscientious, polite and top quality tradesmen that I have seen in the last 20 years - their work left me warm, happy and they tidied up like they had never been in my property - can't recommend them enough.

I had some issues with the removable of old heaters and tidying up of the insulation and installation. However, judge a company on how they respond to a customers complaints. The company sent a reparation team out to look at the issues, and I have to say they were a great bunch, making sure I was happy with everything they did. I do believe when complaining, if a company responds to a satisfactory standard, then the customer should acknowledge this. Move to a year on, a problem I had and could not rectify, saw me having to contact the company again, the response was amazing, and sorted effectively and efficiently. The team at Impact energy are respectful and placed me the customer at the heart of their business. Well done to Kaz, Mikhail and the rest of the team from my experience over the last year I can highly recommend your company for the Eco4 programme.

We had new radiators, cylinder, heatpump, insulation and solar panels. I would recommend as the equipment seems good quality, the house is much warmer, and our energy is cleaner (not had electric bills yet!). Good lads did the work and it worth while keeping a very close eye to get it how we wanted rather it the quickest install. They have been very responsive and helpful on the phone.

Very pleased with work done i had loft insulation and fan put in place in bathroom then the nxt day they came to fit the extractor through the roof and they'd come all the way from Liverpool im in the west midlands im now looking forward to bring warmer in the colder months as I had no insulation in my roof at all

Had a terrible experience using Impact Energy. The only reason I used them in the first place was due to them being assigned to me by my energy supplier as part of an insulation scheme. Workers never showed up on time, had work done that was different to what was promised, and the loft insulation was put on top of my floorboards, which if I hadn't complained about, would have been left like that. I was also promised a guarantee after the work was done, which was months ago now, and I am still waiting on that. Definitely avoid!

Having been let down by a previous contractor, it was a refreshing experience to deal with Impact Energy, from the initial enquiry to job completion. Excellent service all round.

CAVITY WALL INSULATION PROCESS.

Initiated the process through our energy provider, Octopus. Had various phone calls from various people at Impact Energy. In the end Peter got a grip of it all and we communicated with emails, and that worked well from then on. After a few weeks had a visit from the surveyor who informed us the attic was insulated enough, well over 6”. So it was the cavity wall insulation to be done. Ours is a 1899 semi type of house. He stated that we would definitely feel the difference. Also told us the installers would need scaffolding because of our conservatory. A few more weeks it then all came together and in the one week scaffold went up, installers in quickly followed by the extractor fitters and then the trickle vent fitter. All good lads polite and tidy workers, considering the job they had to do. Scaffolding came down couple of days later and all in all we are very happy with the process and Impact Energy. Thanks.

Applied for grant to have full central heating system and solar panels fitted. A surveyor was out within 2 weeks, he completed a full survey and submitted my application. Within 4 weeks I had a full central heating system with solar panels installed. The work was completed in 2 days. The team who fitted the system were a great bunch of lads who were very respectful that they were in a fully functioning family home. Boxed pipework in and left the house tidy. Just had a very minor issue that was nothing really. However this was dealt with by the aftercare team with impact energy swiftly.

I had impact energy come into my home to install air source heating and do wall installation. Every person that came to do work in my home was great and helped in anyway they could. We are a large family with some medical conditions and they worked above and beyond to put in with our needs. I would highly recommend this company.

Central Heating system and

Central Heating system and Insulation Just wanted to say thank you to Jacob and the team who installed the CH etc for my sister in March. The team were very thoughtful and efficient as my sister was very poorly at the time. They did a fantastic job for her and very quickly. Jacob was so kind with the paper work as well and helped make it so easy. I would highly recommend the whole team and wish them well in the future.

I have had a heat pump installed, I have a 2 bedroom bungalow it’s not very big, but they installed a BIG HEAT-PUMP which I can’t use because it’s too EXPENSIVE . The men who came were lovely, but a lot of the equipment they needed did not arrive, so a lot of waiting around at one point they went early to go and get the equipment they wanted, so they could carry on. Called customer support, excellent service, my extract fans were very noisy, they came the next day and was able to reduce the noise but the 3rd one is still very noisy as they fitted a different one and unable to turn it down, they advised me the only option I had was to get a electrician to replace it. The guys were very helpful.

Would not waste your time, because they will certainly do it for you, I had a surveyor come and assess my property, the sales rep Marco was very pally and keen on progressing everything, then all of a sudden a week later (three weeks from submitting details) they don’t have any budget to complete the work, very strange and bizarre. They have packages for what you can receive on your property, if you don’t qualify for one aspect, then you cannot have anything as they will only want to do the whole job, for instance having a heat source pump. Personally I wouldn’t bother with them.

From start to finish this company has been a joy. I was kept informed through every stage, from the planning to what to expect from the works. The workers were friendly, polite and professional. They treated my home with respect and always tidied up after themselves. A surveyor also came out afterwards to inspect the work and ask if i was happy with it. I couldn't have wished for a better outcome from Impact Energy and its employees.

We had work done as part of the Great British Insulation Scheme. Communication was excellent and Daniel was very helpful with all questions asked. The workmen were friendly and very proficient and the works carried out were excellent. Overall very pleased and would recommend.

After initial contact and survey, nothing happened for ages... this turned out to be due to a change of staff. Contact was then made by Mike and since then we couldn't have been more impressed! Mike, Mikhail and Anthony have been brilliant. Impact sent an engineer to reassess as we have a very.old and unusual house... when the work started it was all seamless with teams of people swapping in and out to deal with the respective areas of heating/hot water/solar panels/electrics etc. Some seriously good project management going on! The system has been up and running for a couple of months now and we're very happy with it. All paperwork has been forthcoming and we will shortly be selling any surplus energy to British Gas. Impact are a great Company, responsive and efficient. Highly recommend 👌

Promoting energy efficiency, improving the environment. However, two grown men driving their vans are apparently not above repeatedly littering the streets of Liverpool throwing their rubbish out the window at traffic lights instead of just finding a bin wherever they're going? Not very environmentally friendly if you ask me.

Ask for info before!

I had heating/ solar panels fitted in December with a grant. Can’t fault the men that worked here especially the plumbers, Lee and his team were amazing! However, I was fitted a tank that didn’t fit the space so now have an enormous tank protruding in my hallway with no door, they were sending someone but still waiting two months later! My biggest issue is lack of information, had anyone told me I would have this tank issue, I wouldn’t of had it done, had anyone told me about the fan that has now taken over my patio, I wouldn’t of had it done and worst, if anyone had warned me of the cost of running it I definitely wouldn’t of had it done. I’m frightened now to have heating above 18 and to scared to put the oven on! Biggest regret I’ve had in a long time.

I would highly recommend this company, I had a lot of work done including interior wall insulation, solar panels, new radiators, smart thermostat and an air source heat pump. From start to finish the comms from the office were helpful and responsive to any questions. The tradesmen that came out were professional and friendly. The work has been completed to a high standard and nothing seemed like too much hassle if I needed them to be in the work. Even building a new cupboard to house the large water tank and solar panel controls. Leaving the house as tidy as possible after such large scale building works. Thank you guys.

Surveyor came to view the property, all a scam

Surveyor came to view the property. As it is a rental had told him to call when he had arrived. Tenant called to say that some guy was wandering round in the garden taking photos. Went to the property and surveyor started trying to measure up the property, was either very bad at his job or had never done it before. I was with him as the house was unoccupied. After an hour he still had not finished the ground floor. He then said he could not continue with me watching him. All felt very strange. Asked him to leave the property. Spoke with their office about this. Never heard from them again. Very concerning and possible scam

Terrible company

Contacted me twice. Cancelled inspection then arranged another. Waited in all day and they never arrived. Not even a phone call. DO NOT USE

Excellent Company

The workmen were polite and courteous. Work was completed without any issues and to a high standard. Can not recommend highly enough.
