Taken payment but not responding to provide wervice

Having had very good service from them for 7 years following issues with initial installation and having it serviced with them every year they have taken payment for a service but now will not respond to contact to actually book service. Never had issues before but now having to look at reporting.

EnergyMyway installed a new in-roof solar array and battery storage for us in 2025. They went to great lengths to research and propose a number of solutions, complicated by the fact we had a 3-phase supply, and where considering a complex backup solution spreading across various legacy appliances and setups. We have been extremely pleased with the work they did, and the performance of the system since then - along with continuing support and advice provided. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them whole-heartedly - great bunch of guys, with particular thanks to Bruce & James

An Update to Our Previous Review (see below) Having previously written a review after our installation, we feel compelled to write another. Our inverter failed after 11 months. Technological hiccups happen but had it not been for EnergyMyWay’s persistent interventions with the manufacturer, our system would still be nonfunctional. Once EnergyMyWay were in receipt of our replacement inverter, they installed it the next day. Resolution of this issue consumed hours of their time over the course of the 6 weeks but they were unwavering in their commitment. So, we wish to commend them for not only their stellar installation but their dedication to after service as well. Special thank you’s to Jacob, Bruce, Lee, Dan, and Jack. Our experience with EnergyMyWay was exceedingly positive. Each step: sales, installation and servicing was explained thoroughly and promptly and the team were not only professional but a pleasure to work with. Our property was treated respectfully throughout and the works proceeded quickly. Additionally, as updated system components became available we were notified and chose to have them installed. Post-installation, a minor circuitry problem arose but was remedied with minimal delay and without inconvenience. We highly recommend them.

MVHR - Really works!!! I have just completed a year long refurb of a sixties bungalow using all the technology possible to move towards a “Passive existence “ - solar roof(not panels), battery, external insulation on existing and new elements of the house, air sourced heat pump with associated underfloor heating throughout, etc. And if I’m honest, I thought MVHR was a bit of a gimmick and really didn’t add much to the whole passive process. How wrong was I!!!! We moved in prior to the MVHR being commissioned and just thought the atmosphere in the house was due to the insulation and probably drying out of the plaster, paint, etc. However, when the MVHR was switched on the change was instant!!! The atmosphere felt fresher, less humid and made an altogether better living space. The company who installed my MVHR(and my ASHP and underfloor heating and associated thermostats and manifolds,etc) - Energy My Way - are clearly experts in this field and are always on hand to answer questions and give advice. The handover process is comprehensive and, although there is much to take in, they are always there afterwards to answer calls, give suggestions and even pop out if necessary. Energy My Way were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and made a point of ensuring they fit into the build schedule. Would not hesitate to use this company and would recommend them to anyone as one of the best technical companies I have ever worked with.

I highly recommend EnergyMyWay for the installation of solar PV systems.

In 2022, EMW installed a 4.8kWh system on one of our 3 phases on a roof adjacent to our driveway. It was recessed into the tiles as it needed to look really smart. It does. It was such a good job, we've had EMW back this month for two additional installations: 1. to upgrade our original 2011 FIT system with fewer but bigger panels and a new Solis inverter. 2. to install an identical system on our third phase. Both these systems are at the back of the property so are above the roof tiles but the overall look is far better than the original 2011 job. From the discussion phase, to erection and removal of scaffolding, installation and commissioning of the systems, the followup paperwork for MCS and electrical certificates and the total pricing, we have no reason to fault EnergyMyWay.

Energymyway planned and executed the heating and hot water systems in my new build house. They listened to what would work for me and created a system using solar panels, storage batteries and air source that fulfills everything that I had requested. Great service from EnergyMyWay installing a 10kWh Libbi to integrate with our PV , Eddi, Mapping setup. The guys were really efficient, friendly and got everything setup, including some firmware updates for the existing system.

2 Installations and 100% Satisfaction

I had EnergyMyWay (based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire) undertake 2 separate installations for me. The first was an additional array of solar panels to supplement the panels I had installed previously. This project was completed in November 2023 and was to a very high standard of workmanship. They also upgraded my SolarEdge inverter to make best use of the additional solar generation. I have just had them add an additional DC-coupled home battery to my system, which again was completed on time with no-fuss to an extremely high standard of workmanship. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for solar and home battery installations and my only regret is that I did not use them for my initial solar and home battery installation, which was carried out by a national firm who have now gone out of business.

EnergyMyWay recently fitted solar panels at my house. I have been very impressed with the company since my first contact with them to the fitting of the equipment. The team of technicians who installed the equipment were effective, efficient, knowledgeable and approachable. Minor issues were readily resolved without any fuss. The technicians worked hard to ensure that we understood what was happening. They left the site spotless. I would thoroughly recommend EnergyMyWay to anyone considering going solar!

Solar installation in our new home

We approached Joe Harding for ideas on solar installation at our new home, in the beginning of 2023. We were a “returning customer” as Joe and Energymyway had installed solar PV for us at our previous home in 2011. We were delighted that Joe was still involved, and able to help us again. He surveyed our new property, and recommended a relatively complex array, on multiple faces of our roof, together with a 10Kwh battery. The system works well - only snag being occasional dropping of the connection to our internet, but the data catches up after reconnection (the problem is most likely the distance from our router, not the solar installation itself). We have been, once again, very pleased at the level of service and the quality of the installation.

Good communication and very knowledgable

Energy my way were by far the most efficient and informative whilst trying to obtain quotes. Although it took along time to make a decision they were always quick to answer questions and Jo as always on the end of the phone when needing to talk. A few problems with delivery and installation but all caused by external companies. Whole process has take. A little longer than I’d hoped but again not all their fault. Overall good company to deal with would recommend.

I found EnergyMyWay to be a very professional company, who listened to my concerns, and carried out my solar panel and battery installation to a high standard. Communication has always been good, and they have kept to their promised timescales. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We were recommended to use this company by several friends. After having successfully engaged them to install 12 panels, a battery and a car charger, we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. They were simply superb, from pre-sale to installation to after-sale, they were professional, efficient and effective. Special mentions to the scaffolding man and the electrician; everyone was good but they were outstanding.

We had a number of quotations for installation of solar panels and a battery. One company, Energy My Way, was far superior to all the other firms that provided a quotation. From the initial enquiry through Tom Smith, to the straight forward price quotation, the installation planning done by Bruce Ludlow and the four members of his team, the service we received was absolutely excellent. We were very happy with the price paid, the planning and installation through to registration of the system with our electricity grid provider, all completed hassle free by the Energy My Way team. All members of the team were an absolute pleasure to have working in our home. In terms of the system, we would say order as many panels as you can fit on your roof as they are a relatively inexpensive part of the overall system and spare capacity to sell to the grid is a welcome bonus. Also, definitely include a battery in the system as this lets you generate electricity during the daylight hours and draw it down from the battery during the hours of darkness. The battery system automatically switches in and out, including seamlessly keeping the lights on if there is a power supply outage. Octopus Energy offers its "Octopus Go" tariff whereby they can top up your battery at a heavily discounted tariff, between 23.30 and 05.30 and then buy the electricity back from you at a much higher rate during peak demand times. If you have an electric car you can also charge this up overnight at a heavily discounted tariff. Overall, the system works well, delivers what it promised and Energy My Way made this a very successful and stress free project, completed ahead of the proposed completion date and for the exact price quoted.

EnergyMyWay did a terrific job for us. We were looking for a solar panel + battery system. They were flexible finding for the optimum layout of the panels on our roof to give the best result. They worked on schedule and the installation team were a pleasure to work with. I am very happy with the PV + battery system they provided. They provided excellent service.

Ours was a complicated installation that needed some thought. The Energy My Way guys were tenacious, thorough and pragmatic. The in tile installation looks great and the inverter/battery system in the garage is compact and tidy. Just signed up for the feed in tariff and we are generating electricity, even in December. Very pleased with my solar array

Very pleased with my solar array - 90 panels in all. Joe has helped and supported all the way. This was a complex and time consuming project - as needed listed building, planning, DNO consents etc etc (and I decided to install 3 phase power as well) . All changes as required were accommodated without fuss or delay. Installation team were brilliant, and equipment layout looks great.

Wholly professional and they do what it says on the tin. Potential problems were evaluated and appropriate work arounds devised. Can’t praise highly enough. I am a happy solar bunny!

We have a new build where EnergyMyWay were engaged by the housebuilder to integrate a heat pump system. This works well and is quiet and effective. We are particularly impressed by how responsive the team is - James has always jumped onto issues if they arise and helped resolve them quickly. We also asked them to install PV panels which are integrated well into the overall home energy context.

Domestic solar project experience.

We made initial contact about a year ago and Joe Harding responded straightaway to discuss putting solar panels on our south-facing house roof. The project to install 24 panels and a Powerwall battery began promptly in Feb 2022. His installation team were were efficient & courteous throughout. We are very pleased with the system performance to date ( >6.5 MWh generated in the first 10 months & approx.75% electricity ‘self-sufficient’) .

Energymyway provided a NIBE heat pump…

Energymyway provided a NIBE heat pump to my new build, the service was reliable and neatly installed, they also managed the OFGEM grant for me which was of great help.

We had a major ground source heat pump installation in our new build house and had researched many companies before selecting Energymyway. They have designed and delivered a very good system using a Nibe heat pump that provides us with hot water and all our underfloor heating requirements even through the last winter. James and the team have been very responsive and easy to deal with, including assistance with the Government grant application, and I would certainly recommend them highly.
