We had an air source heat pump installed by Eco-Wright in October 2024 and are extremely pleased with the entire experience. From the initial quotation and survey through to installation, post-installation support, and ongoing annual servicing, the team has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. Our installation was not straightforward and presented a few challenges. This is often when the quality of a company truly shows, and Eco-Wright handled everything promptly, efficiently, and with clear communication throughout. We were kept fully informed at every stage, and any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly, ensuring we always felt supported and in control. The service provided by James and Anna has been outstanding and continues to be so. We would not hesitate to recommend Eco-Wright to anyone considering their services.

Eco-Wright Energy installed the air source heat pump in the new build property we purchased in 2022. We’re very pleased with the system which Eco-Wright Energy service for us every year. Anna and James are always easy to deal with, reliable and happy to help us use the system efficiently.

Ours is a fairly ordinary 1980s house with adequate but hardly exceptional levels of insulation. James and Anna designed the heating system after their heat loss assessment and installed a Samsung heat pump, under floor heating, some replacement radiators and a water cylinder. The performance has been really effective and the house is warmer than when using the gas boiler. Running costs are similar to the old setup. I cannot fault any part of James' and Anna's work. Communication, management, design and installation were all perfect. It is such a rarity in my experience to receive such excellent service all round. Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent efficient and very friendly service from Anna James and Gavin. Within a day of installation I noticed the difference in terms of no condensation at all in bathrooms after showers or baths.

Anna and James were amazing throughout the whole process of our solar panel and battery install (after previously installed an Air Source heat pump). Very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm so chuffed that I found this company and wanted to leave a review for the people looking for servicing and not just installers. We have had both a ground source heat pump and solar PVs for about 15 years and in that time have found it incredibly difficult to find someone to service them who really really understands them. We have found people who know a bit about heat pumps (usually air source though) and people who get the solar bit, but no one who understands fully how to integrate them or how to deal with a heat pump they didn't install. We had an intermittent problem develop about four years ago with our hot water and it has got gradually worse. Have had four different people look at it and no one has understood it. James came and immediately diagnosed a couple of glaring problems with the way it had been set up by previous people - including one fire hazard! He then unpicked these, and persevered with the manufacturer until we got an answer, which he then fixed. I can't explain how lovely it is to have 100% reliable hot water again, but more so how reassuring it is that I know that we now have a company that understands our set up inside and out and is a genuine expert in it. Lots of people in this field seem to be either inexperienced, or only focussed on installs and not servicing, or only expert in a narrow set of equipment. James clearly has been installing and servicing a range of systems for over ten years and it shows. Our system is a bit of a weird set up and he got his head around it in no time. James is polite, shows up on time, cleans up after himself and explains what he is doing. Anna at the office is super efficient with appointments and bills. The amount we paid for three visits to unpick this problem was very reasonable. And the solution ended up being waaaay cheaper than we thought. All round a massive sigh of relief, given that we had already paid more money than we should to people who didn’t actually fix anything! They have a monthly payment servicing plan which we are now going to join because we are just 100% certain we have found the right people now. When you have a non-standard set up that is so critical to both your wellbeing and your household finances, there is just a huge peace of mind in knowing that you have someone to call when something is not right. I didn’t know the company before we called them, and have no connection to them, but I so wish I had found them years ago, so I am writing a review to hopefully help them to come up for someone else on search. Lovely company, great experience.

Well what can I say... My husband and I received incredible customer service from start to finish for our Solar installation - literally at every stage from the consultation, quote, to organising the job and the fitters. Everyone was helpful, polite and extremely friendly. Thank you to the whole team. I would highly recommend Eco-Wright Energy to anyone who is considering renewable energy options.

We have had Eco-Wright install 2 systems for us in different houses, over the past 12 years, and both have been excellent: Biomass boiler, plus central heating system. Ground Source heating, plus central heating system. Thoroughly professional planning, installation and follow up, with real care taken on the quality of workmanship. Gives reassurance as to the quality of the job and it lasts. I just wish all trades could be as professional and thorough. Definitely recomend to anyone.

Big thanks to James and Anna for installation of underfloor heating and replacing the gas boiler. Heating system works well, communication (including after installation) has been excellent. They clearly understand heat pumps. Importantly there have been no surprises regarding costs and they worked as far as possible to minimise disruption. It is worth noting that the services of a builder and other trades was required. Overall I highly recommend the services offered by Eco-Wright Energy.

Eco-Wright Energy has provided a fantastic and fully comprehensive service from full installation of a bore hole ground source heat pump system through to its regular maintenance. James and Anna are always there to answer any queries, big or small, and offer a friendly and competent service that I would more than highly recommend to anyone

It was a pleasure to work with Anna and James from Eco-Wright at every stage of our project; from planning to completion. We had a number of quotes for our air source heat pump system. Some quotes were very slightly cheaper, but when digging into the detail it was clear that the critial ancillary components (pumps, valves etc) where not as carefully spec'ed in these cheaper quotes as they were in the Eco-Wright quote. Most quotes were totally opaque so you couldn't see where the money was going! The big plus for me was that I was dealing with experts rather than salespeople. Eco-Wright were the only firm we contacted who wanted to make a site visit and took measurements on site before we entered into a contract. When it came to fitting our system James was excellent. He provided clear instructions on what works were needed in advance. He turned up when he told us he would, worked quickly and carefully, explained every aspect of the system and answered all of our questions. Behind the scenes Anna was brilliant at sorting out our heat pump grant application and took away pretty much all of the pain from the paperwork. The system itself has been incredibly impressive. Quiet, quick to heat the whole house, and very efficient to run. I feel like there are a lot of cowboys in the heat pump game at the moment, including some pretty big companies. I think a lot of people will accept "cheap" quotes and find out later on that they've made an expensive mistake. In contrast Eco-Wright gave us absolute confidence at every stage. They were clear, professional and highly skilled I'm looking forward to Eco-Wright adding solar installation to their portfolio of services. They're pretty much the only firm I'd trust to do this work for me.

When we were looking to supplement our oil bioler after problems with supply and huge price swings we were advised by a neibour to look at a Air Source Heat Pump from Eco-Wright. James came and gave fantastic advice ..... I was the best thing we ever did. The heating in the house is much more uniformed and our oil boiler now only runs the hot water and back up when temp drops below -1degree. As a result we can go over a year without needing to buy oil, so we can buy when its at its lowest price. Plus the goverment pay back nearly paid for the instalation. We have Eco-Wright service our heat pump every year too. Eco-Wright Energy is highly recomended.

James just made it work, no fuss at all, and the workmanship is amazing (the pipe work could have been a display in itself!)
