We have a Loxone-based smart home. All of the Heating, lighting, security, and smart devices are controlled by Loxone. If it wasn't for Ian from ALMAE, I'd be lost. He's been very good in dealing with the upkeep of the smart home and explaining the features of the Loxone system. He is dependable and reliable.

Ian has worked with the builders to make sure the solar panels are up and running. He has also suggested additional systems that heat water and charge my car more efficiently. We will continue to work together as he is a first rate electrical engineer.

Ian and his team installed a twin GivEnergy battery system to go with my existing 3.7kwh solar array, in the middle of June. Without doubt the best thing I have done apart from fitting solar panels in the first place. My monthly electrical out goings for the house, battery charge from mains and 800 miles worth of charge for an electric car are about £12 a month (July, August) excluding standing charge. Since June I have only mains charged the batteries 4 times and all the rest is excess solar which is now being stored and utilized by the house and car. I was slightly unsure as to fit 1 or 2 batteries but I'm now glad that I spent the extra fitting 2 as, during the summer period between the, house, batteries and car I reckon that i'm utilizing 95% of the generated solar power and saving a small fortune at current electricity prices. Excellent and professional service and a competitive price.
