From a general builders perspective that has used the services and expertise of JCE Contracting Ltd for many years I always recommend this company to anyone that is looking for electrical work to be carried.

Very impressed with this company who stepped in to commission our solar energy system when the original installers went bankrupt. JCE rescued us. They were reassuring, turned up when they said they would and didn’t leave until everything was sorted. They probably have easier jobs than this one but they saw it through.

I can't speak highly enough of JCE Contracting Ltd. Throughout a lengthy house refurbishment programme, including the installation of a solar energy battery system, I had regular dealings with all of JCE's office staff and electricians. Without fail they were professional, competent and a pleasure to deal with and to have around the house. Furthermore their work was faultless. I won't hesitate to use them again.

My first contact with JCE was when my Solar PV Generation meter stopped functioning. JCE sent someone out the following day. They confirmed the meter was faulty. They also found that the PV system did not have the required isolator switch near the meter, and that the wrong type of circuit protector had been fitted. It was also positioned incorrectly in my consumer unit. During the visit, I asked if JCE installed solar batteries and was told they did. I was then quoted what I felt was a very reasonable price to install storage so I gave the go ahead. I cannot fault the installation of the battery, and the necessary work to replace my faulty meter and make the system comply with regulations. A few months later, my solar inverter died. JCE sent someone to check and it was non-repairable. They quoted me a price to replace the inverter which was lower than other prices I had seen. I now have a functional inverter and, as with the other work JCE carried out for me, I was well pleased. I then asked for a price to increase my battery storage capacity. I found it competitive, so I now have increased capacity. Throughout all the work JCE carried out for me I found the standard of workmanship to be impeccable. All the engineers I had dealings with were friendly and courteous and they did not leave until everything was up and running. In short, I would recommend JCE Contracting to anybody who desires a quick and efficient service carried out by engineers who know their stuff and are easy to get on with. .

Used JCE twice now. They have been efficient, clean and tidy, and very knowledgeable. Prices were better than I expected and they were easy to deal with. Thanks for your help!

Highly recommend their services, from my initial phone call to having the work completed took a few hours, Jerry who came and addressed our problem was on time, knowledgeable and polite, there were no hidden costs. They are very transparent with what they charge. Top quality service.

Excellent service. Half our power went out late on a Saturday. We called Jerry who talked us through all options to see if a call out could be avoided. It couldn't, he was here in 45 minutes and the power back on with a clear explanation within 30 minutes. Very reasonably priced for an unsociable call out.

I highly recommend JCE. We have used them over the past few years and every time have found them reliable, honest and realistic. They are trustworthy and keep you informed throughout their work of next steps and potential cost. Communication is fantastic and prices are fair. Will continue to use them into the future.

A massive thank you to Tom White for all the hard work he has completed for us in our property. Tom arrived on time each time, is very reliable and professional. Tom has completed various works for us; making the electrics safe, installing new sockets, installing an extractor fan in the bathroom and fitting additional lights throughout our property. We would 100% recommend and will be using him for any future works! Simon and Lea made it easy for us to book Tom in around other works taking place in the property and were understanding when we had a delay works due to asbestos in our ceilings. Thank you again! I accepted their estimate and the job was booked for the following week. The contractor was 2 hours late and there was no telephone call to advise of this and no apology. Despite several calls and emails requesting a copy of the condition report it was over a month before we received it. And now they tell us there are remedial works required. Not impressed.

Excellent service. Having had issues with electrics both in the office and at home in the last few months, I have now dealt with electricians more than I ever wished to... However, Jerry and his team have all been first class. They have turned up when they said they would - once at very short notice to save the day - and have, without exception, been a pleasure to deal with. All very polite, helpful, hard workers who have done exactly what they said they would, when they said they would. Thank you all.

I thought the jobs I had would be too small for theses guys but they turned up promptly and rattled through them in no time. I couldn't even tell they had been other than stuff started working. Charged less than I was expecting, which is always a nice surprise. They're a pretty slick and professional firm but they have the customer service side cracked as well. Will definitely use these guys again. They're the best tradesmen I've used in Bath so far. Wish I had engaged them on previous projects.
