Absolutely superb company

We had home batteries installed by Eco Renewables in November 2025. After getting quotes from several companies, we chose Eco Renewables because they were by far the most responsive and clearly very knowledgeable. The installation they carried out was absolutely excellent. The workmanship is superb – everything has been installed incredibly neatly and the finished setup looks great. Shortly after installation we noticed the batteries weren’t charging overnight as expected. I contacted Eco Renewables and they came to our house the very same morning to investigate. It turned out to be a small issue with the app, which they quickly resolved. They even checked the system again later that evening to make sure everything was working properly. The customer service has been outstanding from start to finish. On the few occasions I’ve needed some advice since the installation, they’ve always been happy to help and quick to respond. I honestly can’t recommend Eco Renewables highly enough. If you’re considering solar panels or battery storage, they are a company that truly goes above and beyond. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Outstanding service and professional solar installation

The quote we received from David not only felt right for us, but it also beat the competitors by almost 2k. The solar panel installers, Marcus and Wayne, treated our property as if it were their own home. They showed outstanding knowledge, care, and a genuine willingness to go above and beyond for their customers. Jordan, the electrician, was quick, tidy, and extremely knowledgeable. The entire team worked very neatly, with great attention to detail. Even with a very challenging roof, they managed to achieve what seemed impossible. The panels were installed perfectly, and the battery started charging the moment everything was connected, which truly impressed us. We are extremely happy with the result and highly recommend this team for their professionalism and dedication.

Good team work from Carley in sales to…

I was recommended to Eco Renewables from a good friend of mine. The team work from Carley in sales to the fitters Marc, Wayne and Jordan the electrician was first class. The solar panels, battery, gateway and all feeds are very neatly fitted. Nothing was too much trouble and I had a good understanding from the guys of how things worked. I now have the Sigen app for monitoring the system and the AI will be taking control in a couple of weeks for my peace of mind. Oh! the price was very reasonabletoo. I therefore have no issue with recommending Eco Renewables.

Installation excellent

Installation excellent. The squad of guys did a super neat job of fitting panels and hiding cables. Despite biting cold and rain they fitted 22 panels, battery and inverter in 2 days.. just as they said they would. Price was 40% less than another quote. A very trustworthy company.

First class service

First class service, start to finish,office to the scaffolder's to the fitting team. Lads was all very accommodating in quite a challenging job and freezing conditions. No price bargaining required right price straight from the start,and as they say 'you get what you pay for'. Thanks again lads.

Eco Renewables solar install

Fantastic solar install providing us with 15 panels, battery backup(off grid) and solar diverter to heat our water at a very good price. Communication with Eco has been easy and the installers were very good. Overall I'd recomend Eco Renewables to anyone.

Aftercare communication is an issue …

I have left some time prior to leaving this review to try to provide an accurate picture. Install: 13/05/2025 - 8 x 460 panels and Tesla PW3 with gateway. Pros: 1) Carly and Chris at quote stage were really involved and responsive - needed help with the DNO and I worked as a go between to try to speed up the process but whenever I contacted Carly she was quick on the ball to ensure things were sent through quickly. Note: I contacted lots of companies for quotes prior to choosing ERG. 2) Can pay by credit card 3) Follow-up call that or the next day after install to check-in and receive payment (they only take a small upfront deposit to book you in) to release your paperwork 4) Paperwork post install sent relatively quickly to be able to get export tariff set up quickly (minor errors in paperwork corrected fairly quickly) 5) Chris noticed a question I had on a solar forum and reached out independently to answer this for me directly and contacted Tesla to sort out the export issue Cons: essentially all related to communication and time to rectify issues 1) Large solar panels/supplies delivered day before install - not informed this was happening and they were unable to fit through my back gate on the pallet. Delivery company unable to take these off pallet in case damage caused - they could take them away or leave them. The delivery driver spoke with Chris and they had to leave these outside the gate overnight. I could only protect them by parking mine and neighbours cars around them 2) At install I mentioned I did not want the solar/battery to charge my car - advised on CT clamps by the electrician but nothing further done. Noted battery was discharging fully to the car shortly after install - after a lot of discussion this was rectified in July. Now working well. 2) Broken drain down pipe coupler by scaffolding team most likely - images sent to Chris and arranged repair myself to get it done quickly - invoice to Chris in mid-July, chased repayment a few times and finally received in early September 3) Major issue which is ongoing: DNO need to do a witness test to sign off this install as ERG had not done many installs in the SSEN region by that point. Despite this being related to the company not having done enough installs in the SSEN region and them needing to review their installs, this was an additional cost I had to pay to proceed. Having got this far, I didn’t want to start the process again (background: had been through Octopus before for battery-only install and realised going to another companymeant I could also have solar panels for a little more and switching providers had meant starting again) Since the install, the company have failed to attend on 2 occasions - 21st August and 21st November with poor to no communication in between and thereafter, which has also been noted by the DNO assessor. I last chased up the company 19/12 and to date no response. Today, I have raised a formal complaint with the company and will escalate this further should I need to. Shortly after submitting the complaint, I have received a response from Chris and they have contacted the DNO via email. Overall - I would say the aftercare communication and speed to rectify things lets the company down. This does lend me to be a little concerned for the future at this point if for example a panel failed or there was an issue with the battery but only time will tell. Update 23/02/26: despite assurances that Chris would be in attendance today, another colleague attended who had not been briefed, did not attend with the required forms and was not aware or the setup. The DNO have partially done their test but need the forms to be sent through, I need to be sent the schematics to put in the gateway and this ordeal will hopefully be over for now. I stick by my comments made in the overall statement previously.

Installation of solar panels and battery

The package we were offered is exactly what we needed. You have to listen to the experts not Google. The system has been running for just over seven weeks now without any issues. I have struggled to find my way around the Sig app but with the support of Chris and the team at Eco Renewables the system is already saving us money, even with the low levels of light we are having this winter. The system was installed in just one day. 18 panels, inverter, battery and gateway. The installation looks right and is right. All the paperwork was sorted by the team. I had to speak to Octopus to get the export tariff online. That was the only hold up. From installation to being fully up and running was 5 weeks. I would recommend Eco Renewables to my friends and family.

We used Eco Renewables for a large solar and battery install. Sales was good, the solar panel installers were good but it all went downhill with the electrician and after sales service. One of our Tesla batteries had the glass chipped and one of the switch covers damaged, the EV charger didn't have the LED lighting connected, and the wiring into the garage was left messy. One of our batteries didn't work - this was a Tesla fail but we had to chase and chase to get them back to replace it so was left with an unusable system for over a week. When the electrician came back they couldn't have been less bothered and seemed miffed to have to return. End result is we now have a working system which is great but would not use them again due to the above.

Had great experience with Chris and team. The deal was decided in less than 10 mins of conversation as it was among one of the best I had received. There were nuances surfaced later at the time of installation however they were nicely managed without wasting any time..highly recommended

I initially had Tesla Powerwall…

I initially had Tesla Powerwall batteries installed and subsequently had fitted additional solar panels. Ryan was easy to deal with and always readily available. The installation was on time and neatly completed. I found Eco R to be very competitive in their pricing. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Solar Energy in West Wales

Solar energy is a minefield when you first start looking, with so many companies offering such a varied range of products. My experience with Ecorenewables for start to finish was excellent. I first made contact with Dave Harrison who gave me superb advice and explained everything without making me feel pressured at all to buy. When it came to installation, that too was just as good. Mike and his 2 mates came to site, did a great job, leaving the place clean and tidy when they finished. The workmanship was excellent, all the wiring neat and tidy and done in a timely manner. When it came to payment, Carly in the office again was excellent and Ryan Jervis too has been very helpful to ensure the scaffolding is removed as quickly as possible. The system is working really well, and I believe there will be some good savings to be made over the coming years… 🤞 I just hope I can stop looking at the App as often as I am so far 😂😂

Brilliant Team and Flawless Solar Setup

From start to finish, the team were absolutely superb. They installed 22x 510W Aiko panels, 2 Tesla Powerwall 3s, and a Zappi charger — all at a really competitive price and with great attention to detail. They managed a tricky setup perfectly, with the batteries on the opposite side of the house to the gateway and all cables routed cleanly through the loft. Everything was neatly finished and works seamlessly together. What really impressed me was the aftercare — a small post-install setup issue was sorted quickly and professionally, without any fuss. A very professional installation at a very good price. Our system is performing as expected due to the time spent with Chris optimising number of panels and battery system. From my initial enquiry through to completion for my solar and battery installation the team at Eco renewables was excellent. All my many enquiries were swiftly dealt with by Carly and Laura, the installation team where quick, polite and tidy. All documentation arrived very quickly after the install was completed, and although there was a delay in removing the scaffolding at the end, it didn't detract from an otherwise great experience and I would definitely recommend Eco Renewables for your solar and battery installation.

Once again, Eco Renewables has far exceeded themselves. Not only is my solar array awesome but the aftercare and after sales is exceptional. I had the solar array installed last year. Since then pigeons decided to move in a few months ago. Kept waking me up, making a mess amd generally became a nuisance. One call to Carly at the office and within a few days Lee, (the original installer,) came with his team bang on time. Lee and the lads are such consumate professionals, and in no time had the anti pigeon system installed. Not affecting my warranty or and nasty holes drilled. It actually compliments the system. Also in the year ive had my system ive found their support with the app and adjusting settings etc is only ever a phone call away.. Thank you Eco team Col.

I had solar PV with Tesla Powerwall3 installed by Eco Renewables Group and I would highly recommend them to anyone. From the very first enquiry to completion, you often hear horror stories about Solar PV and battery storage installers, which can make you a bit apprehensive to proceed. However, Eco Renewables Group has been fantastic from day one. They patiently answered all my questions, and the teams that came to install and commission the system were absolutely brilliant. They completed the installation neatly and professionally. Even after commissioning the system, their customer service was outstanding—they promptly answered calls, addressed any questions, and replied to emails. They’ve been absolutely brilliant. I would strongly recommend them!

Just had an PV and battery Installation done by Eco and it was perfect from start to finish from initial booking and quote by David all the way to the hand over documentation from Laura. Mike the electricians work is super tidy and Brad the roofer planned out and laid the 18 panels on 2 roofs. Had a little issue with the Meter and CT clamp not registering and this was identified by Ryan one of the bosses and Mike came back out and replaced it. Would 100% recommend and will be using them again in the future to add another battery.

Fantastic from start to finish - No pushy sales. Advice was given based upon my needs.. I felt like Eco Renewables knew what they were talking about. My project was an unusual one compared to most people. I requested a full re-roof and solar panels with battery install. No other company I spoke to could offer an all in one solution. Eco Renewables managed my project from start to finish without any drama and I'm very happy and impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved from the roofing team, electricians and the sales/admin team. Everyone was very friendly and responsive and were able to answer all my questions and addressed any concerns. In the end I went with in-roof panels and a re-roof with a Velux window on the opposite side. All work was done neatly and I have had many friends, neighbours and family who have enquired about their workmanship.. This has resulted in them also getting work done by this company. Would not hesitate to recommend as they provided the best price Vs the competition,whilst also doing what the others couldn't do! (Re-roof, scaffolding, skip and solar install all as part of a single project) A++++++++++++

We are so happy with Eco Renewables, from the sales visit, to the installation and the commissioning. The guys on site were a pleasure to have here, polite and tidy, and clearly enjoy their job and working for the company. The product itself was a great recommendation, we are delighted with the quality of the kit and the work and especially with the value. Thank you to all the Eco renewables Team. Good website with clear specifications & prices. The entire team works seamlessly together from initial phone call to certification. Carly & Laura were an absolute fountain of knowledge and very quick to answer any questions via phone, email & whatsapp. We don’t have the ideal roof shape/set up for solar but Ryan came down to survey the house and talked through how we could maximise the solar array & where best to position the powerwall 2. The scaffolding was next to arrive and again the team made sure the block paving and artificial grass were protected. Nothing was too much trouble for the electricians & roofers. They were professional & friendly throughout and are a credit to the company. I wanted the solar panels symmetrical with the pediments (dog kennels) on the roof and as you can see in the photo they got them bang on. I have no hesitation in recommending Eco renewables as the quality of workmanship is second to none. I recently had the pleasure of having solar panels installed on my roof by Eco Renewables Group Limited, and despite encountering some minor hiccups, I must say that the overall experience was excellent, thanks to the efforts of Chris, the Director. The installation process began with Mark, who is regarded as their top electrician. While I appreciate the hard work and dedication, I noticed that his work was rushed and some details were left incomplete. I raised this concern with Chris, and to my surprise, he took immediate action to rectify the situation. Really impressed with service from start to finish. I enquired with 5 companies and spoke with Ryan from eco renewables. I liked the fact he was the only one who wasn’t pestering me every day for an answer. Really tidy job and very impressed with the equipment. A few issues post install but through no fault of the team. Power cut in area in middle of install which blew a few rcd. But managed to get the electrician back a week later as soon as he was available and they repaired all the rcd. Ryan was really helpful during this issue and kept us updated. Overall really pleased with job and solar is working really well even when overcast.

From start to finnish both Eco Renewables central team (Carla and Chris) and the installation tam (Marcus and all) have been a pleasure to deal with. Good prices, very responsive and quickly completed. Great communication from the installation team when the anything arose and quick solutions in place with support from us. Got a quick reply from Eco Renewables with a very competitive quote. Carly was really helpful and even after agreeing a system to be installed, was fine with me making changes and helped me understand the different products available. The whole install process was very quick, the scaffolding company contacted me and had the scaffolding up the next day. The solar install team arrived and installed 8 panels, the inverter, battery and a Myenergi Eddi in only a few hours, very polite and friendly team! They took me through the whole system and the app for the inverter which seems easy to use (right after installing the system was already covering all the power we were currently using at that time and also charging the battery so it's looking good for lowing our bills) Great to have such a friendly and reliable company so close by, I've already passed their details to a friend who's looking to install a system.

I had been researching my solar system for some time and searching for a solar installer that knows what they are talking about. So many companies have gone out of business didn’t really understand the technology or couldn’t get the parts or give reliable dates. I was recommended Eco Renewables by a friend and haven’t looked back. Excellent service, from design to delivery of 5.2kw solar panel and battery system. They really know their stuff and designed the best options for my multifaceted complicated roof. From design to delivery within 2 weeks and the price was very competitive. All the crew are friendly, professional and work safely sorting out problems without fuss. System is already saving us a fortune in electricity. People turn up when they say they will, they have all the parts they need to complete the job and they keep you informed as they go with photos of the roof installation. Gives you great confidence that the system is going to give trouble free power for a long time. I would and have happily recommend this company.

Am pleased to provide a good review for this company, obtained a good price for a 16 Panel, 5KW system, plus a 5KW battery. Installation occurred two weeks later, arrived on time on the day scheduled, two guys did the roof fixings rails and panels, electrical installation and connection completed quickly by two electrician, all polite, friendly and helpful thanks guys. Works completed early afternoon up and running all working well. Am at home during day so get up to 5KW output when sunshine have been using tumble drier 3KW again plus oven or dishwasher or washing machine at same time. Battery gives additional power for the evening and night time. First two weeks moderately sunny and dry saving £20 per week even with the tumble drier being used regularly. Helpful staff in the office from sales and customer support. Obtained all my certification and paperwork for the installation. Have applied for SEC 5.5p/kWhr for exporting excess power have generated excess of 150KW in first two weeks. This company and the system has exceeded my expectations, thanks.

Had 5 quotes for solar and battery storage, no one would come out bar Chris From Eco Renewables, I wanted a bespoke system to give me 20kw of storage and up to 7kw of load to allow me to utilise the system to the full extent. Chris quickly came up with a solution, 10 x 470w panels, Growwatt inverter and twin LuxPower squirrel pods giving 7kw of power if needed. Coupled with 6 x Plyontech US3000C batteries providing 21kw of storage. The install was seamless, All fitted in one day bar 4 batteries which were on back order. Communication was great, rest of batteries were fitted day after arrival with Chris and all paperwork completed within 1st week. Can't thank them enough for there services, Price was very competitive, beat E-ON price which was for half of the system I have fitted now.

What a fantastic company! Nothing was too much trouble when dealing with us from first point of contact all the way to completing the installation and providing documentation. We had a solar battery system installed and our consumer unit was in the middle of the house, they took a lot of care and attention with the house and did everything humanly possible to make things look tidy. They did a fab job. We can’t thank them enough. I am now asking them back to install more of their products (extra battery, zappy, harvi and eddi) as the system they installed is outperforming our expectations.
