We are very happy with our new heat pump and solar panels. The journey was a bit bumpy, but it was a part of a much bigger job and many players involved, hence any delay is understandable.

Annual ASHP Service

I employed these guys to do the annual service of my ASHP. Excellent service and kept me in the picture throughout. Found faults that were as a result of the install by others so this can be followed up. Very knowledgeable company. Thank You Richard

Planning say heatpump has to be moved this has now been rectified with no extra costs

The installs went well but the planning department are now saying the heat pump has to be moved and the green Partnership are not responding to my request for information on when they will come to move the heat pump it is so frustrating An update John came yesterday to move my heat pump due too neighbours objection to the original position. John made a very good job and at no extra expense the heat pump is now moved so everyone including my neighbour is happy. I am now updating my review to 5 star as despite delays due to unforeseen circumstances the work was all completed to a high standard.

The Green Partnership fitted our LG Heat Pump.

The Green Partnership fitted our LG Thermo V 16kw heat pump 27-28 Aug 2024. We are very pleased with its performance. There is always plenty of hot water at 50 deg C and the house is lovely and warm at 21-22degC 27/7 even when it’s -4degC outside. After the initial visit to check the suitability of the property, a third party came to survey the insulation and issued an EPC of B. Next Jo spent a nearly a whole morning working out which radiators needed replacing with larger ones and finding the best location for the heat pump and the best route for the pipework, both of which were done to our mutual satisfaction. The installation, a masterpiece of plumbing, was carried out by Dave and Ash and took 3 days. They were later joined by Ashley the electrician, who did an excellent job wiring up the heat pump. Unfortunately there were a few leaks in the pipework which they had to come back and fix. One of the directors, Richard, came specially from Leeds, an hour away, to rewire the immersion heater so we could have hot water, because one of the leaks meant draining the system and subsequently taking up floorboards before it could be fixed at a later date. Another director, John, came to replace some of the pipe lagging, as that fitted by Dave was too small and left part of the copper pipe exposed. He also had to seal up the hole in the wall through which the pipes from the heat pump entered the property, something which I can only assume Dave had overlooked. The whole installation turned out to be quite a big job and it took them all their time to complete in the allocated 3 days . Once all the teething problems had been fixed, everything worked really well and has done ever since. Back in the office Michelle did an excellent job from the start, informing us when people were coming and offering advice when asked. She assured me that her fellow staff, Betheny, Bridie and Onnagh played a big part helping behind the scenes.

Heat pump installation

My sister and brother-in-law had a heat pump installation in July. The hot water worked from the start but the heating had problems which took a while to resolve and ultimately became very frustrating. All this was made worse as my brother-in-law died in September which made the situation all-the-more challenging for my sister. Initially there was no heating at all and some confusing communication as to whether it could be tested in the summer months. Then, after a visit in September, the heating started to work, but was then on all the time and couldn't be controlled by thermostat (resolved in part by turning all but two of the radiators off). The problem seemed to be that different aspects of the installed system weren't communicating properly with each other to control the heating on/off times by thermostat. After a frustrating period of things remaining unresolved and lots of email correspondence, but no solution; things came to a head in October after a couple of visits which didn't resolve things. After pressing hard for a solution and expressing a complete loss of confidence, my sister had a further visit towards the end of October which finally did see the situation get resolved. I attended that visit and found the company's representatives to be helpful and they were determined to resolve the issue. They took care to diagnose and fix the problem and explain things to my sister and I. This is very much a mixed review which I have updated following the resolution. The installation itself was extensive (heat pumps, new radiators throughout the house, new heating system and controller functions) and the work was done well (timely and tidy). The eventual outcome is also positive with both hot water and heating now working well and the system providing desired levels of control, comfort and (yet-to-be-assessed but probable) efficiency. That would deserve a higher rated experience (4/5 stars). The drop in rating is due to that frustrating period of time which went on too long, where visits didn't get booked or, where booked, didn't resolve things and my sister lost confidence due to poor communication. In particular, we felt that we had to press hard for a resolution, even to the point of saying that we would seek an alternative solution to fix things and then look to recover the costs of that alternative solution. In attending that final visit where things were resolved, I felt that the company understood that the customer journey in this case had not been a good one and I was encouraged to see that there was a determination to resolve the problems and understand what went wrong and why. On that basis, and on balance across the whole episode, I would recommend the company if you are considering having this type of installation. That recommendation is based on the quality of work, the quality of the system installed and the overall outcome. I wouldn't have made the recommendation had the situation remained unresolved, of course. However, despite not wishing the frustration of a long period of unresolved problems on anyone, I was encouraged by what I saw on that final visit and the company's determination to fix the problem and their willingness to talk us through the issue. I tend towards the view that the company would likely be more responsive and communicate better in future with other customers as a result of this experience.

Excellent company

With a 26 year old GCH boiler we knew we wanted a replacement before it broke down in the winter months. An ASHP was the obvious step. Glad we chose a larger company who knew what they were doing. They led us through each step without any drama with specialists coming in to assess the heating loss in individual rooms and an engineer to design a system that would meet our needs. With a 4 bedroomed house and us wanting the ASHP tucked in at the road side of the house nothing was a problem with pipework taken through the loft. Grant applied for and managed by the company. Work started 10th September. Thirteen radiators replaced and some rooms now warmer than they had been previously. A couple of glitches but sorted out straight away. Excellent and courteous service all through the process, from Jo, both Harrys to Ashley, Josh and Jack not forgetting Michelle and Bridie in the office. Couldn't recommend more strongly

The Green Partnership deliver Heat Pumps very efficiently

Expert installation engineers advised where necessary via smartphone by even more expert staff. Very good liaison with The Green Partnership customer manager. The Heat Pump plus new radiators deliver the heat planned and is a radical improvement on our previous combi-boiler system. Hot water is instantaneous when using a shower. Customer satisfaction is obviously important to this company.Installation work was carried out quickly and efficiently by Ian, Morgan and Ellis as was the electric work by Ashley and Josh. The in house team of Bethany, Bryony and Oonagh kept things on track and organised. Special thanks to Michelle Slack who kept in regular contact to make sure I was happy with the work and give me peace of mind, even when a faulty valve meant sending Morgan out on Friday night to fix it! All waste material was removed and the area of work left tidy. I am happy to recommend The Green Partnership to anyone thinking of heat pump insulation.

We had solar panels and a heat source…

We had solar panels and a heat source boiler installed by the above company. They were fantastic. Extremely professional, friendly and polite. They had to have 4 different people here one to do the solar panels, boiler, electrics etc everything ran like clockwork. Each person arrived when they should have, the work from all of the installers was done to such a high standard, they even sent another person round once all the work had been completed which only took 3 day by the way to collect all the rubbish. We were kept informed via there customer services every step of the way. The customer services is second to none, Extremely helpful, friendly, polite answered any questions we had straight away, if only all customer services could be the same way, may be they should take a leaf out of the green partnership company. If you are thinking of having any of the above fitted to you're home please check out the above company first I promise you won't regret it. If I could give more than 5* I would fir everything, such an amazing company. The price was very competitive infant it was under 4 other companies we had contacted plus we got more than we thought for the price. If you want an honest, reliable and very professional company then don't bother getting quotes from anyone else and wasting your time just go straight to The Green Partnership Company. ASHP instalation

I would like to thank everyone for the professional and really plesant work caried in my 3 bed house in Wetherby, starting from Michelle Slack ( customer journey specialist ) who has been constantly in contact throughout the prosses and the installation team who were Senworth, the electricians Ash & Cal & also the admin team Betheny & Bridie who help with the heat loss calculations, bus vouchers etc and lastly John & Richard who have helped out a lot during the process and after the installation. A huge thank you to this fab team!

A Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pump

The Green Partnership recently installed a heat pump and hot tank for me at my chalet bungalow. The company and its employees were most enjoyable to work with. Fortunately the hot tank could be conveniently sited in the cellar as it is a pressurised system. The installation itself is quite complicated so it is not surprising that there were a few teething problems. However these have all been sorted out and I am pleased with its performance as I gradually become familiar with the way a heat pump behaves, almost with a mind of its own. I was pleased that Sam the plumber took a pride in his work and made a very neat and tidy job of the pipe work. I was also pleased that Ashley the electrician was very conscientious in his approach and stuck with it until it was sorted. But most of all I was very impressed with Michelle at HQ who was my interface to The Green Partnership. She was very responsive in coordinating the various trades involved in the installation. She always checked that people had arrived as arranged and it was useful to know that she could be relied upon to get things sorted. I now look forward to being ahead of the game with a heat pump installation which can be monitored remotely and which I hope will prove to be a reliable investment. Thank you John and your team.

Good installation, pleasant experience

From the first visit to quote to the last day of installation John and his team have been professional, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. John came on the initial visit and we discussed full installation of new heating system with Panasonic ASHP and when he left we were confident we would get a good job done. John and his team installed an air…

John and his team installed an air source heat pump in our property just under 2 years ago. The installation was excellent as his staff were diligent in their work and made sure the place was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Since that time the system has worked well. The only problem we've encountered was a sticky radiator valve which John popped out and sorted personally. I would certainly recommend this firm.

Gem of a company. From start to finish, all works carried out by The Green Partnership, has been Amazing. Fantastic client & engineer communications. Especially to Michelle Slack, who has great organisational & communication skills, nothing was a problem. I was regularly informed of when the works were starting & who was coming to do the work. I am a lady who lives with my young son, so, having engineers in my home, I did not know, was a little daunting to start. The heating & electrical engineers were very polite, courteous, provided a high level of workmanship, all was left very clean & tidy. 5 super stars to The Green Partnership. Truly amazing company.
