JC Electrical were recently engaged to carry out EICR inspections at three of my tenanted properties. They carried out the inspections and provided the reports in a timely manner, presenting clear options for the remedial work required. James Cohen of JC Electrical installed my solar panels in Spring 2025 and I was extremely impressed throughout the process. He was efficient, tidy, considerate, and very easy to talk to — happy to explain things clearly without any jargon. He worked seamlessly with my roofer and builder, to the extent that they’ve since gone on to work together on other jobs, which says a great deal about how well he collaborates on site. The installation was well organised and carried out with care and professionalism. James has also been excellent with after-service support and follow-up, and his pricing was very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Working with James and his team has been a complete joy. I had engaged many suppliers (including the usual national companies), and none of them were as forthcoming, flexible, patient and as knowledgable as JC Electrical - right from the first phone call right through to completion, they were totally on the ball. We were able to thoroughly discuss a range of options for equipment, ecosystem and implementation practicalities. There was nothing that was too much trouble. James is one of the very few contractors that I've felt wanted to do a good and proper job - more than myself. It is a true rarity. I'd recommend these guys in a heart beat to anyone.

James and his team installed 6 panels on our roof this summer. He worked well with our roofing team to install the panels round new Velux windows and stayed late to overcome some connection issues to get the system up and running. James is very approachable and happily came back to help us make sense of the app.

I contacted JC Electrical Ltd for a local quote for Solar Panels with Battery to compare with 2 national companies. I got a prompt and comprehensive proposal that reflected exactly what I needed. The quote was very competitive, around 15-20% below the others. James came to do a site survey and was able to answer all my questions and confirmed the quotation. He was able to offer an installation date within 2 weeks. Everything went smoothly from scaffolding erection to fitting the panels on the roof as well as the very neat installation of inverter and battery. Superb service, efficient, tidy and on time. The system is working well and saving us money even in November!

I came across JC Electrical nearly 2 years ago after starting a new role. We have unfortunately had numerous major building related issues but James has always been very responsive, helpful & reassuring. We have installed a new roof with 10 x integrated into the roof solar panels and battery. Most solar companies want to place the solar panels onto the existing roof which personally I don't like as much as the integrated ones so its hard to find a company like JCE who will work alongside the roof installer and project manage the whole installation. James organised regular meetings with myself and the new roof installer so that we all knew our responsibilities, time scales and the deadline. The installation went without one hick-up. We are very happy with JCE and would highly recommend them. 5 STARS

Do you know what really happened today? We’re a photo booth with only one machine, and suddenly, there was no power. It’s the last Saturday of December, and who’s working on a day like this? I was truly devastated. But then, JC ELECTRICAL LEEDS LTD immediately messaged me back, and within an hour, I was able to meet an electrician at the shop.
