Called Premlex as I had a faulty light circuit. A prompt reply on the phone and an appointment was booked. A detailed email was sent prior to appointment and named the electrician who would come. Josh arrived on time. He was professional and polite. He kept us informed throughout the appointment as to the issues that were causing the problem. I would highly recommend Premlex as an efficient company.

The booking process was excellent and the lady on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. An electrician was available and able to come out within a day or two. The electrician was polite,friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the service. He did a thorough test and even a video of the issue with the oven which was established was not an electrical problem anyway. I will definitely be using their services again and would be happy to recommend them.

I received outstanding service from Premlex Electrical. I had been informed by a Hotpoint Engineer that I needed RCD fused spurs on my hardwired washing machine before he would look at it. I contacted Premlex and Liam came with these but he told me they were unnecessary since my fuse box was RCD protected already. He tested the sockets to make sure the RCD protection was working. Liam then went the extra mile by helping move the washing machine into the garage since the Hotpoint Engineer had also told me the machine would have to be moved since there was not enough space to work on it. Communication with Premlex was excellent and they only charged me for labour and they also issued me with a certificate to show the engineer that all was safe. I can't fault their service and would recommend them without hesitation.

I was completely satisfied with the work carried out by Phil. The fitting of an extra double wall socket was carried out professionally, cleanly and exactly to the standard I required. Excellent job. Thank you.

Premlex came to our office yesterday to replace old strip light fittings with new LED panels, there has been a vast improvement on the lighting within our office. When coming to quote for the job, Trebor was knowledgeable about the regulations regarding lighting within our office. When the electrician was on site carrying out the work he did so with no fuss and very little interruption to our work. When he was finished he left everything clean and tidy. We have used Premlex several times now and would highly recommend them.

Liam arrived on time and was very courteous. Fitted a damaged outside security light. Seems to be fine now. We have used this company before and would do so again.

Arrived on time, listened to our exacting requests and fulfilled them perfectly. Very professional service and we will be using Premlex for any electrical work needed again.

Happily used Premlex to move our electricity meter box (no small job!) which involved several different contractors and several days' work. Trebor and his team are friendly, efficient and responsive and I would use them time and time again. We received 3 quotes for the work to be completed and Premlex was competitive; but the main reason we chose them was that they seemed confident and competent where others gave the impression that the work was too hard for their time or they just couldn't be bothered. Premlex installed 7 interior ceiling light fittings and 2 outdoor fittings. Communication was good throughout the process and the quote of £30+ vat per fitting and an estimated time frame of 4.5 hours seemed reasonable at around £60 per hour. I dd supply information on the exact lights and fittings supplied and images of the current fittings to be replaced, our home is a new build so all electrics meet current standards. The electrician who fitted our lights was very professional and respectful of our home and took the time to make sure the fittings were are the correct height. He managed to fit all the lights in just under 3 hours. When we received our invoice I was slightly surprised that we had been billed for the 4,5 hours quoted and not the actual time taken to do the job. The response was that sometimes jobs take longer than quoted and sometimes quicker, so it's fair to all customers, which I felt was an odd response as I seemed to have subsidised jobs that are underestimated. I did pay the full amount as per the original quote but agreed to disagree with pricing structure operated by this company, as i felt that the £90 + vat per hour that the job ended up costing was excessive, even by todays standards.

PREMLEX carried out, at short notice, a domestic electrical inspection prior to us selling our house; they quickly identified what had to be done and what should be done and kept us informed throughout the process. A value for money quote for the required work was promptly supplied and the work was carried out very professionally, efficiently, courteously, within the time given and at the cost quoted. The team were always on time and treated our home with respect. The certificate needed to support our sale was quickly produced and we unreservedly recommend PREMLEX should you need their services. A great firm employing really sound professionals.

Great service and excellent results as always! The team were flexible with our time lines and nothing was too much trouble, especially with placement of kit and our requested finished appearance. Job involved heated mirror, sockets, lighting and underfloor heating install. Have used Premlex for years and would highly recommend to others.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Trebor visited us and listened to the work we wanted to get done (changing over 15 light fittings) was very helpful in suggesting the sort of fittings and bulbs we should have to achieve what we wanted and to make sure they reached British and EU safety standards. We received the quote in a timely fashion and a date for the work was booked in. The lads arrived on time and throughout the day worked in a tidy manner, and the outcome is fantastic. I'm so impressed with the service and work carried out that I'm going to book them for more work.

Trebor didn’t know me but he fitted me in very quickly. He was even able to turn up earlier than arranged (he phoned to check this was OK). He was thorough, polite and help and explained everything to me. He charged a fair price for the work carried out.
