Wonderful service from Complete Solar and Renewables Ltd from the beginning to the end. Our planning meeting with Nicola was straight forward and she was able to answer all our questions and worries about the roof suitability (it's an old house and old roof). The installation team was efficient, quiet and very respectful. The whole system was installed quickly and has been working beautifully. I also like the app which allows me to see how much electricity is generated and consumed. Highly recommend them.

Complete Solar fitted our solar panels and aircon units earlier this year. They could not have been more friendly and helpful with their advice and sharing information. The systems have been great and if we have had any questions they have been more than happy to answer them. Three of our neighbours also have solar panels fitted by Complete Solar and everyone is extremely happy with the systems and their service.

Turned up to all appointments on time and completed the installation to a high standard. Would use again.

They did a great job of advising us on the type of installation that was suitable for our home. They then installed the products in a very professional mannor (during awful weather) and had everything up and running within 3/4 days. I highly recommend them, they have a great team who communicate well and provide customers with the information and feedback necessary to make a significant financial decision.

We have recently had Complete Solar & Renewables install a Solar Power and Battery Back Up System as the final part of a self build project. Initial outputs are very pleasing. From our first meeting with them through to commissioning they have been most helpful, professional and worked as a Team. Thank you to all at complete Solar and Renewables.

We chose Complete Solar on recommendation from friends who had them installed on their house. We are so glad we did! The installation which is now over eighteen months ago was quick, and easy. the whole process was explained with Complete Solar obtaining permissions for installation and grid connection. Their engineer Sam was knowledgeable and sorted everything out. We had twelve panels, an inverter and battery installed, the cost was reasonable and cheaper than a lot of other suppliers. We subsequently had three more panels installed along with an EV car charger, Sam sorted the whole thing out including some trouble shooting, including contacting the charger company. We now charge our EV direct from the Solar installation at no cost during summer months. We have had no issues at all with the installation, and if we have any questions, a call to the office gets any questions answered, (usually in relation to the inverter app) The service back up from Complete Solar has been second to none, we feel that we are completely supported both from their engineers and office staff. (A big thank you to them all) They will explain that solar is an averages game, you will make a lot through summer and not so much in winter, dependent of weather, if you use it thoughtfully the savings are considerable, we estimate that we have saved around £800 per year though solar use. This is through appliance and EV charge during the day, battery use during the evening and grid feedback albeit we are on the lower feedback tariff) We have consistently recommended Complete Solar to friends and acquaintances and have no hesitation in posting this recommendation online, their service has been that good.

Used this company to install 8 additional solar panels, complete with 10kw battery storage and inverter upgrade. Extremely happy with installation, workforce very tidy, would highly recommend. Competitive price against 3 other quotes I obtained, and quote fully detailed and itemised. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and polite staff.

Could have been, should have been 5 stars

I have an existing Solar setup and had Complete Solar replace the inverter, install a new fuse board and set up my Pylontech batteries, which all happened at the end of summer, 2024. Firstly, I was charged £80 for the quote, which I (wrongly) assumed would be taken off the final bill. It wasn't. When their engineer came round to "look at the job" we agreed the location and layout of the batteries and inverter and I explained I already had a shelf system for the battery stack. Whilst the equipment was installed and worked correctly, my instructions as to the location of the inverter were completely ignored (he put it on the wrong wall) and when challenged, I was told "it was due to the cable length". Which was COMPLETE nonsense. They supplied and charged me for the battery mounting kit, which was not needed (I'll have to put it on eBay). They also left the 'old' inverter in the middle of the garden...I'd have moved it but for the cancer that has left me somewhat weakened, physically. But...the system worked and I cannot fault them for that. When it came to paying the final bill, I settled in full, but made clear to "management" that I had felt "unlistened" to when it came to the installation layout. It was feedback as opposed to a full blown complaint. Fast forward another six months and I return to them asking for a quote to fit 3 more batteries. Initially the quote came in at £4.5k for batteries that retail at £3k. I assumed there was some kind of mistake so when I queried it I was told 'oh...that also includes delivery'. I then fell ill for a few weeks and left it. I then recover and pop into their offices to see if I can just get 3 batteries that I've now bought, for £3k (like I did the first time). The young lady studiously taps out the requirement and spec on her keyboard and the quote should be ready in a couple of days. But nothing appears. A week later I happen to be passing by their offices again and pop in again to see where the quote is at. But I am told 'oh Grant was talking about that the other day', but no real conclusion. For a very simple set up for a returning customer I couldn't quite get why this was so problematic. She goes on to tell me that they really only to 'solar installations' and not 'one man band jobs', and as a "medium sized company" they don't really do this sort of thing without having to charge a premium. So I say, tell me what that premium is as I have 15kw kilowatts of battery storage at home doing nothing. I am assured a quote would follow the next day. So, after a week when there's nothing in my inbox I get online and found a chap who got the work done for £200. What I object to is them just not being straight (and wasting a lot of time) by just not telling me they weren't interested from the get go. Bit of a shame as my next project is a 9kw solar roof, inverter and battery system at my mum's house. So, I guess if you want something off the shelf, are prepared to have an installation that suits them (not you) if you're not bothered about having any after sales care, want to pay £80 for the sheer pleasure of them giving you a quote in the first place, then these guys are for you. I also HATE writing negative reviews; a bit of reasonableness on their part and I would have been singing their praises from the rooftops, recommending to my friends etc and they'd have been in the frame for the next project.

It's taken me 2 years to get to write this review (sorry guys) but in 2023 I accepted 2 quotes, 60 solar panels on my office roof and a much smaller install on my house. Highly professional throughout, install went well and we have a super rapid ROI due to number of panels and price. Thanks guys.

We were so delighted to have found this local company. From the word go they have been professional, efficient, timely and very supportive. They installed 10 solar panels, battery; underfloor heating to 88sq metre ground floor; an MVHR system throughout. We have had a tricky build renovation with dates changing all the time. They have been right by our side, doing everything they could possibly do to ensure the work happened in a timely fashion. When problems occured they were there with immediate solutions. We are very, happy with the results and would highly recommend this company. Special must be made of Nicola who is not only professional, knowledgeable and efficient but kind & supportive. Sam is also a joy, creative and has a brilliant "can do" attitude. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the people working for this company.

Our neighbours recommended this company as they had just had solar panels installed. Nicola and Richard came to have a look at our roof space and talk us through the process. We promptly had a quote with 3 options and a lot of useful information. We decided to go ahead with 28 panels and 2 batteries. The installation started within 2 weeks of the quote being given. Sam, Richard and Alfie did an amazing job. They were very polite, happy to answer questions and really pleasant to have around. We are really happy with the result and the solar panels are giving us more energy than we hoped for. We will be using this company again to install a hot water cylinder. We highly recommend this company!

Complete Solar have been very professional and helpful throughout. Their original quote to upgrade an inverter and add a storage battery was competitive. A solution was offered for an early problem of incompatibility with the existing system. Once we'd placed the order, installation was carried out surprisingly quickly. Sam and Kyan did a very good, neat job.

Complete Solar installed additional solar panels and a battery system in January. Everything was as per their quote, work was completed within 3 days. Staff were very knowledgeable, worked quickly, efficiently and were very tidy. I would definitely recommend this company.

10 panel sytem with 5Kw battery

Complete Solar and Renewables installed a ten-panel system for us in early December 2022. Their team project managed the whole process, including scaffolding, and everything took place on schedule without problems. The installation team were excellent: very helpful and kept us informed throughout. Apart from the scaffolding, which was done in advance, the panels and equipment were installed over two working days.

My roof is an awkward shape and I didn't know if it would be possible to have solar panels installed. I contacted Complete Solar & Renewables and Gavin visited the following day. He discussed various options and I was really pleased to learn that a viable system was possible. The job went ahead very quickly and I found everyone from the office staff to the roofers and electricians to be very professional, communicative and friendly. There was a short delay in the installation of the inverter, simply because it hadn't been delivered on time by the supplier. I was kept informed of the situation and the installation was completed on a Saturday afternoon. Sam very kindly set up the app and explained it to me. I am delighted with the outcome and cannot speak highly enough of the whole team. I am very happy to recommend them to others.

Solar and Battery Installed.

I’d been thinking of having a solar and battery install done for quite a while, and like many the rising prices of electricity and gas confirmed that I needed to do it sooner rather than later. No doubting it’s not a cheap thing to do, so I wanted it done properly, first time, and with any rapidly growing market the cowboys appear, so I needed to be comfortable with whoever I choose to carry out the work. Tried contacting ‘local’ companies, and had a couple of calls from firms based at the other end of the country, who carried out their survey via goggle maps. Just didn’t feel right, but struggled to find an actual local company. Happened to be in the area of Complete Solars office so I dropped in, just to see what they could offer. Gavin, the office manager, was very helpful and we agreed that he should come round to the house and start the process for a quote. My main concern was that Complete Solar were a newly formed company, with no reviews or history to be able to check, so how would I know if I could rely on them? As my dealings with them were face to face I believe I got a good feel for how they worked, and where they wanted to take the company. I had several questions, and Gavin responded quickly to all of them, often with a phone call the same or following day, backed up with emails where necessary. Despite my early reservations about the companies infancy I decided that the way my enquiry had been dealt with was excellent, and I placed my order with them. The excellent service has continued all the way through the process, and at no point have I felt that ‘well we have your order now so………..’ attitude you get from some companies. Communication has continued to be great, and the installation went ahead without a hitch, and to a high standard, going that extra mile to make sure we were happy, and keeping us informed as to the progress, which was quick. A special shout out to Sam, who did pretty much all of the in-house install (the roofers did a great job on the panels as well), and was a pleasure to work with. It’s been up and running for a month now, and the hardware has worked flawlessly. An issue with the data I was getting from the inverter app was taken seriously, and a solution found and put in place from them working with the manufacturer. I can honestly say that my experience with Complete Solar, to date, has been painless, and I believe that will continue as and when needed, and I happily give them a five out of five.
