“We have light”

As a small town amateur group Verwood pantomime society store our vast wardrobe department in a container on a local farm which means we have no power. As most of our access is needed from September to February this causes a nightmare for our lovely wardrobe ladies hunting for costumes to dress our cast each year, with torches in the dark. Up until now that is! We turned to Smart Home Technical from Verwood last month and now wonder why we hadn’t done this years ago. After a few emails, swiftly answered by the lovely ladies in the office, a site survey visit from Simon and a solar panel installation by their team of expert fitters “we have light” If you’re thinking of a solar installation we can’t recommend Smart Home Technical highly enough. They are hugely knowledgeable, have excellent customer service, work tidily and are a real local community business. Give them a call or email, our team of wardrobe ladies are so happy we did!

Brilliant company

Brilliant company. Saved us after an electrical fault, then came back as requested and did a full electrical survey. Lewis was so helpful! Neat, tidy, on-time, effective. Highly recommended

Great Company

great friendly staff came to sort out my inverter, cables where burnt and they advised to move the inverter outside instead of being in the loft as a fir hazzard. work completed and very pleased all working again.

Excellent service

Excellent service, experience and "smart installation" from Smart Home Technical, for the installation of a Solar (with battery) System. Very impressed by the professional team (Sales, Technical Support, Office, Roofers & Electricians) from the first meeting through installation, commissioning and close-out. They were able to delivery in a very short time frame from signing the contract. Very pleased with the end result, and the immediate benefits and savings we are getting.

Exactly What I Was Hoping For

We had a brilliant experience with Smart Home Technical from the very first enquiry. The team was friendly, punctual, and clearly knew their stuff. They explained everything in a way that made sense, without any pressure or hard sell. Installation was quick and efficient, they kept us in the loop from start to finish. The system’s working perfectly, and it feels great knowing we’re generating our own energy. I can honestly say Simon and his team delivered exactly what was promised. I have cannot recommned Smart Home Technical enough if you’re thinking about going solar, I only wish I had done it sooner.

Did a really excellent job installing…

Did a really excellent job installing solar panels and powerwall, as well as replacing vehicle charger as an additional job which they fitted in alongside the main work. Fast, efficient, clean and polite. Had to make repeat visits to fit around other roof work that was going on, which was done seamlessly and in perfect synch to give a great outcome.

Smart Home Technical fitted a new Consumer unit? 7kw solar array and powerwall 3 for us. We are very happy with the work done. The team were knowledable and efficient.

Ross and Reece have carried out several jobs at my home, starting with installing a new fuse box. They're always on time, polite, and very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly reccommend the company and the guys. They are brilliant in my opinion. They work hard and they're fast and tidy.

Solar panels and car charger

Just had solar panels and car charging point and wanted to say how pleased we are with the whole process from quote to installation. Simon, Clare and Danni have been so helpful and the team that did the install were amazing ( they probably had the first hot day of the year and still worked through despite the heat). We have become addicted to watching what the panels are doing on the app! It’s amazing and my advice to anyone would be if you are thinking of getting solar, speak to Smart Homes Technical, you certainly won’t be disappointed.

This company take customer service to another level. The owner, the telephone staff and the engineer are all ultra competent and professional and the communication was excellent.

Fantastic local company

Fantastic local company. Replaced a 10 year old inverter and made good a connection failure from original installation company. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient team. Will definitely use them again.

New EV charger fit

We needed an EV charger to be fitted at home and chose Smart Home Technical on the basis of reading reviews in the local press. A very wise move. After a couple of e-mails and chat with Clare, we decided to fit a Hypervolt charger. Simon conducted a survey and Russ fitted. A very neat job and easy process with Clare doing all the necessary DNO notification and paperwork etc. Very pleased and we would recommend Smart Home Technical.

So helpful and knowledgeable

From the first phone call, through to installation, Smart Home Technical have been amazing. We had just bought an electric car and were completely confused - no idea what we needed or how to go about it. We had so much help, even before we had decided to use Smart Home Technical. Even helping us to decipher all the different electricity tarriffs offered. Installation was great, quick and straightforward. We had anticipated having to wait weeks - but, despite being a week or so before Christmas, our charger was installed within 4 days of ordering. All the staff, from office to technicians have been so helpful. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending!

Really good service, would recommend

Really good service, fitted us in for a EICR certificate really quickly and all work was carried out and completed within a few days of the initial test. Rhys arrived on time and explained everything clearly, the work was completed efficiently with minimal disruption. Will definitely use again and recommend!

Solar installation

From the initial phone call everything ran very smoothly , installing our solar panel system. Simon and his team were very knowledgeable, everything was explained how it all works .The team turned up on time and left everything clean and tidy . Not forgetting the office girls who were also very efficient.

Daughter’s bedroom LED lights…

Just to say thank you to Smart Homes Technical. They have done a fantastic job putting up LED lights all around my daughter’s bedroom. Rhys was very polite, professional and efficient. Would highly recommend.
