After myself and a few other neighbours in my area had work carried out with procast. I can't thank them enough work was outstanding staff were amazing always there when you wanted them ..nothing was a bother to them ..always at hand ..great workmanship..great team well done
In February this year along with the rest of the residents in our wee scheme we all got new kitchens put in. From start to finish the guys were brilliant l, quick and sufficient. With having a large family this was even better as they made the process so much easier for us. The joiners, plumbers and electricians were amazing and sorted anything we needed. Along with the head staff who answered all our questions and helped us. We can not thank the procast company for providing us with our beautiful new kitchen, Can not recommend the company highly enough. Many thanks The MacLeods Oban
Great experience with Procast! The team was efficient, professional, and delivered exactly what they promised. Communication was smooth throughout, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!
If I could give negative stars, I would. Procast is an absolute joke of a company. The whole neighbourhood has been subjected to their incompetence as they attempt to replace kitchens, and it has been nothing short of a disaster from start to… well, who knows when, because they certainly don’t. We were told it would take two days—we are now on day 10, and still waiting. In that time, we’ve been treated to sheer incompetence at every turn: • Bodged work at every stage • Major flooding thanks to their shoddy plumbing • More leaks because apparently, learning from mistakes isn’t their thing • Personal property damaged—because why bother taking care? • Mess left everywhere—like they think our homes are rubbish tips And the best part? The constant lies and empty promises: • “It’ll be done by lunchtime.” (Lunchtime which day? November 2026?) • “We’ll be doing that first thing.” (First thing next century?) This is publicly-funded work, and yet it’s been handled with all the professionalism of a toddler wielding a hammer. An absolute disgrace. They have a LOT to answer for.
The workmen are totally disrepecful. So rude, they have left my garden and my home a complete mess. But,apparently they don't need to tidy their mess. Worst company out.
Only giving 1 star as I am not allowed to give zero. Company been hired by the council to do work on the houses around the area. From the start has been an absolute shambles, my mother's garden furniture has been covered by their mess as had her car and constantly blocking access to a disabled driveway that requires 24hrs access. Company is absolutely appalling and should be ashamed of themselves.
I'm 6 weeks into a council renovation. I work nightshift and asked for an approximate guide/timeline and got nothing. I moved my bins to the front of my property to save them being trapped in my garden due to the scaffolding. So now a skip has been put against them giving me no access to my bins (they could've easily been moved to the other side of the front garden) For the last week I've had wood with huge nails from my roof discarded in the front garden - I have now put it into the skip. Every week I have to sweep the access and around my property and lift all the plastic sheeting, discarded rubbish, juice cans/bottles, cigarette butt's (no one in our house smokes) A scaffolding post is directly outside of the back door giving no access. They've been using my outside tap to work on neighbouring houses - what would they do if I didn't have one? I had to contact a manager at the company this week due to one of the workers, shouting, swearing, offering someone in the street a fight while outside my window - it was either that or the police! It has been so much worse than anticipated. It is very intimidating in a morning, trying to do the school run while the group of workies gather at your front. I'm very tired and everything has slowed down. My house is constantly dark with the windows covered which has to happen but it shouldn't be happening for such a long length of time. I cannot wait to see the back of this disrespectful company.
Avoid at all costs, as per many other reviews they were doing windows, solar panels and heating in council properties. Rude, did work to their own timelines aka whenever they feel like, intimidated occupants, no respect for belongs and poor workmanship all round.
Absolute shambles of a company. Doing cladding and cavity wall in my village including my house. They take MONTHS to complete one house as they only work a couple hrs at a time then vanish for a few weeks. They've ruined gardens. Leaveess in the street, don't clean up after themselves, Used my garden as a storage unit without permission. Turn up whenever they want. Left saw blades in the grass in my garden and to top it all, prompting this review, turned up at 845 on a SUNDAY MORNING and started to use an electric saw through Metal, when they haven't even been here for weeks! Absolute clown-show of an organisation. DO NOT USE!
They are doing cladding, windows and solar panels in our village on council housing. Poor workmanship, ruining gardens and instead of doing and finishing a couple of houses they half do them and disappear for weeks and then if you are lucky, come back to do more. The solar panels are put into roofs instead of on top of the tiles, bad news altogether. Wouldn't let me give zero stars
Local council had this joke of a company in to do gas servicing. My appointment was for 3.45pm on the 26th January so I made sure I was home ready from 3.15 and then no 1 turned up. I've now had the council state they would do a forced entry on my property and I've to pay for the locks etc unless I make a new appointment which I have but this time with the council. I called precast to be told that I wasn't in the property at that time when their worker came to do the servicing however they very quickly backtracked and said they were unsure why the engineer didn't turn up after I said I have cameras on my property which records everyone who comes onto our path and no one did that day except myself, my sons and my husband and asked if they wanted the footage forwarded onto them. So funny listening to them trying to come up with excuses after that. This isnt the 1st year weve had issues when theyve been employed to do the gas servicing either. Would have given no starts if that was an option.
Missed arranged appointment time the had no update for 3 months. Requested speak to the manager but after 6 weeks they are now ignoring my call. An absolutely terrible company with no customer service skills After tell Falkirk Council that procast wouldn't be allowed in my property I got a knock on the door on the 10th January 2023. After tell the 2 procast staff members that they are not allowed in I closed the door only t hear the female staff member, a older woman with long blondish hair say "what a D**k". When called to complain about this the woman on the phone laughed at me. And now they won't answer the call. As a company they are pathetic.
Nightmare water damage to home. Garden left in mess. I have a disability and been waiting 7 weeks for hand rail to be put back on. Which has caused me to have 3 falls.slabs damaged front door step damaged also some wee garden ornaments. Complete joke 😡 one year on and still waiting on some repairs 🤬
Procast were doing external work to homes in my area. I was not getting work done but unfortunately some of my property was damaged. I phoned and phoned numerous times. Eventually I was on first name terms with several people. After a very frustrating day on Monday trying to get answers to when the repairs would take place, yesterday a lady in the office passed me on to Kevin, a site manager elsewhere. He took in hand what had to be done and now I have a replacement fence. I am so grateful to him and his team for doing even more than what I had expected ie the new section of fence. My complaining has come to an end and I am appreciative of the quality of the completed work and the speed at which it was rectified. Thank you!
Thanks for this one, NL Council. Greatly appreciate it. NOT. Scaffolding/skip in place for about 2 months now. In that time, workers have been out on only a handful of occasions, each time being obnoxiously loud, shouting/swearing and with music blaring. No regard for property or tenants. Roof left exposed and without tiles, causing random bangs/rattling from attic space at all hours, which naturally terrifies my stepkids and leads to sleeplessness. Apprehensive to even go up and see the state it's in, given how dreadful it looks from the street alone. I have a dog who is not only petrified of the racket being made, but also has regularly had to have items of debris pulled from her mouth that workers have carelessly discarded all over the garden (the one she has any access to- and even then, scaffolding placement means the gate cannot be shut, leaving the space unsecure). Gutters have been broken, as well as a pipe running from our bathroom to the outside of the house, causing a risk to health due to sanitation issues. Not at all the kind of stress you want at 6 months pregnant and, if other reviews are anything to go by, this will be an ongoing issue for some time to come. Heavily unimpressed. Wish I'd had the option to say 'thanks but no thanks'.
I can confirm the comments before me. The local council hired this company to renovate several blocks in my street (roofing, insulation.) The work was started six months ago, but they have stopped and disappeared. A third block was recently started. The work they did on our building took them half a year to complete, but on the third block they finished the same job just in 1 month! This is probably because most of the time the workers do nothing but walk around on the scaffolding, with a hammer in their hand, hammering on random places to make noise, and their boss think they are working. I have observed this several times. Tenants who work in the afternoon or at night shift jobs have their schedules completely disrupted, because there's no rest for them. The workers arrive every morning around 8am, start working as loudly as possible for 10-15 minutes: they start hammering on the walls and scaffolding in random places, go up on the scaffolding talking loudly, often with a radio in hand to make sure they wake all the residents. When they have finished making 15 minutes of noise and everyone is awake, they disappear for hours. For two days they worked inside the building, where they built a wall to replace the old roof door: the job was completed in 1 day, but they spent a second day there. They didn't do anything all day, nothing changed from the first day, but their radio was turned on all day loudly as possible. Imagine the tenants trying to sleep after a night shift! Not only their attitude to the peace and quiet of the residents is "quite excellent" and "empathetic", but also the quality of their work: they pierced my ceiling with a steel rod and soaked two of my rooms. If the local council starts similar work on your house, run away: move somewhere else for the next six months, because the stress this company causes is not worth it. Not only their work is unprofessional, but they have no empathy or respect towards the residents.
Procast are currently doing roofing and rendering on council houses in my street , including mine. The stress they have caused me is awful. Every job they start is half finished, they've caused water damage to my sons bedroom and my neighbours also, my garden is a mess, scaffolding is up with no safe access to my door, my monoblock driveway is broken, site manager is hard to get hold of, any advice or number of someone senior would be great.
I agree with the review about the site manager being rude and the damage Procast cause. I have been left with a broken gate, ruined edging, a planter full of dead plants and a hole in the wall where the vent they were supposed to replace 4 weeks ago ( and within 48 hours as they told my neighbourhood officer!) is still open. They refuse to accept any responsibility for all the damage they caused and the mess they left behind. Their total disregard for peoples property and gardens is shocking. The site manager is really rude and arrogant and its a waste of time talking to him. Falkirk council really need to do something about it all and question who they give contracts to. My experience of Procast is they are a terrible company and if i could rate no stars i would!
This company are doing work for East Dunbartonshire Council. Having purchased my own ex council property, they have had access to the rear of my neighbour through my property. Rather than use the front gate and footpath, they have used my driveway (with a parked car on it) to take roughcast materials to the rear of my neighbours property. My car is in a right mess.....also the workers seemed to think they could use MY garden tap and hose! I’m a construction foreman and can’t believe the attitude of these guys. If Procast are reading this, you’ll be hearing from me tomorrow, as will East Dunbartonshire Council. The saying “cowboys” doesn’t come close to this so called building contractor! The reviews speak for themselves!
Site manager for my area was rude as hell when questioned why we didn't have safety measures around our flat. Place is an absolute mess, theve broken my daughters toys, ornaments and a bench. Having to deal with cheeky arrogant people when trying to even discuss the damage they have done to my property. Falkirk council should never have given you guys a contract. Ill be making sure to complain to both companies 👌
