This review is about Eco Systems Group Ltd’s customer service and what that says about the firm more broadly. Due to out-of-date information on the National Insulation Association website, I called the company in error, thinking that they provided a service in Manchester which they no longer do. The inconvenience to me of a wasted phone call was minimal. However, to ensure that I got something in return for it and that it therefore wasn’t a wasted call, Joe, the Retrofit Coordinator I spoke with, apologised for the NIA’s out-of-date info and asked me how far I had got with my search for a solution to my damp cavity wall insulation problem. When I said this was my first call, he proceeded to spend a considerable amount of time talking me through the process of extraction/remediation/reinstatement, the sorts of things I should ask other contractors, the decision to make about having the insulation/cavity inspected first, what level and detail of materials & workmanship I should expect, and an idea of typical costs. He also provided me with his contact details in case I had any further questions or doubts. This was excellent customer service provided to a non-customer, and I’m not sure how many other companies would have gone to such lengths when there was no prospect of any business coming from it. If this admirable level of service is reflected across the company as a whole, potential customers should be able to choose Eco Systems Group Ltd with a high degree of confidence.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ecosystem company for cavity wall insulation and loft insulation, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. A special mention goes to Olivia, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I understood every step of the insulation process. Olivia's attention to detail and friendliness made what could have been a daunting experience so much easier. She coordinated everything seamlessly, ensuring that the work was completed on time and to a high standard. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking to improve their home's insulation—especially with such an outstanding team member like Olivia facilitating everything. All work carried out with minimal fuss and disruption by a cheerful team of gents.I think it was all done within 3 hours.That's the cavity walls, the window air vents and the trimming at base of doors.Throughout the process, Elise and Georgia were on hand at the office to deal with any queries.In short, a very smooth operation from start to finish and I can look forward to a cosy winter and smaller bills🎉 Highly recommended 👍

Pressure sellers. Had a guy knock on my door, quick chat and was very eager to get a colleague (Rush) to check if we had insulation in our walls. Asked when this would be, said same day 20mins. Naturally with doors knockers, you want to check companies out. Conversation held with the previous guy was about 8-10 mins max. 5 mins later had rush, the colleague knock on the door, tone changed when I said I wanted to look into things myself. Rude guy kept saying I wish you told my colleague this before (note the colleague said he was chatting to one of my neighbours so it’s not like he came down from the other end of the country). Anyway, back to the point. Pushy people, looks like there’s a few bad reviews. Any one considering this should check out the government website and perhaps try there energy provider beforehand.

Had the insulation done a few years ago. Job was done fast and insulation is effective. However, I wish I was told at the time that spray foam companies are not regulated and this type of insulation is classified as a fire and safety hazard making it very difficult or even impossible to now sell or remortgage the property.

During the initial call, the representatives were courteous and prompt in booking the survey and charging me for it. Ben, the surveyor, was friendly but did not provide me with sufficient information as he needed to consult with his supervisor, who was presumably more knowledgeable about the insulation and the issues I was encountering. Since then, I have made several calls to them, repeatedly requesting a call back (which they have always promised but have not fulfilled). I was finally able to speak with Joe, who informed me that the issue is more complex and that Ben lacked the necessary seniority to address it. I have repeatedly inquired whether they could resolve the matter, and they have confirmed their ability to do so. However, despite two months having passed since the survey, I have not received any calls, the issue remains unresolved, and I have not received my money back. Therefore, I strongly advise against engaging with this company.

I would advise caution with Eco System Group. They will try and sell you the dream of cavity wall insulation funded by the government however my experience was especially poor and I wish I had asked more question and been more insistent. They drilled into my external walls in four places to identify if I met the criteria and promised the filler they use will mould with the existing but as you can see from the pictures it simply doesn’t and looks a mess. I was promised a call back to advise on eligibility but it has been over 5 weeks now and I haven’t heard from them. It smacks of cowboy behaviour. You can learn from my mistakes, hopefully.

Very pleased with the service offered by EcoSystem! Just had our loft insulated as well as an extractor fan installed in our kitchen helped by the GBIS scheme. Once our application had been approved, EcoSystem got in touch straight away to decide on a day to start. The communication with Elise from the office was fantastic, such enthusiastic person, very helpful, easy to reach too! Made the all process run smoothly! Thank you Elise! Had to contact numerous times after initial survey.. everyone stated they would call me back same day, happened about 5 times with no contact at all. We was told throughout due to being low income we would benefit from free insulation only to find out that it would still cost 18k. How can someone on low income afford that? They said it would cost 28k to do solid wall insulation which is extortionate anyway for the size of our property, but the government would only fund 10k 🙄 honestly they are really bad, use someone else more reliable.

We would like to thank your company for the excellent cavity wall insulation work you carried out on our property. My wife and I and delighted with the workmanship your contractors Mo and Blimmer put in. We have received plenty of positive comments on how quick this was all completed.

Installed the roof foam insulation with them, when the time came to remove it 1 year later-as bank wouldnt give me a mortagage otherwise. they quoted me double the market standard to remove the foam and director called me trying to get me off their back..Promised tonnes of things and didnt follow up on any. When we removed the foam ourselves we discovered that they even put a foam between the membranes- tear the membrane, and in the ventilation vents! AVOID. ********* UPDATE: Classic move by the avoiding trader, claim that they dont recognise you as a customer. So i attach the email....They will not change their response, for smth else.. that tells you volumes.

After working with a few spray foam companies over the years, Eco are by far the best. They really care about their customers and never overcharge like some of them. Most customers always recommend the install team to neighbours as they are very courteous and tidy.
