Don't call the first two companies on Google, they are just people who take the calls, then they try and find an Electrician for you, this call went right through to Scott who found me a competent electrician closeby highly recommend.

Quality Solar, battery and EV install.

Scott and his West Coast Electrical team installed a very neat and tidy Solar and battery system in my garage. From first contact and throughout my install, Scott was professional and polite. He was informative without being overwhelming with the technical data of the solar and battery set up and helped set up and explain the app to monitor and control the system. Scott is not a pushy salesman, he did touch base a few weeks after his quote to see if i needed to discuss it or had further questions, but there was no pressure to get a sale through. I was impressed with the solar and battery set up, so I also got him to install a EV car charger for me a couple of months later. The solar system has been far more effieicient than Scott had estimated which is a decent bonus. I couldnt recommend West Coast Electrical enough.

Great battery fit

I have just had a recent install of a 9.6kw Alpha Ess Battery and a 5kw Inverter done by Scott at West Coast Electrical. I would highly recommend using them not only is he a really nice guy but he’s very knowledgeable and happy to explain everything to you in simple terms. He was punctual turned up when he said he would, cleaned up after his work and did an all round great job fitting my battery. I will look to do the solar with him at some point too. One thing I feel assured about is that if there was any problems he would be there to help if needed. I’m really glad I chose to use this company 😁

If i could give less than 1 star I would. Avoid like the plague. Booked this company to put 2 new plug sockets in. Never turned up. When I messaged on WhatsApp to see where they were they said their systems were down and the previous job had overrun. Ok shit happens but despite repeated messages asking for an update, I was ignored. They never came, never apologised and never rescheduled even though I gave them the opportunity.

Solar PV system with battery storage & EV charge point

Had a solar system including battery storage and EV charge point fitted recently by Scott and his team. Very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions quickly. Very tidy workers and system installed with minimum fuss. Would recommend to anyone else looking for a similar set up.

Scott from West Coast was amazing. He came out to install an Ohme car charger for my new EV and I couldn’t recommend enough, the charger works perfectly and I wouldn’t use anybody else in the future for my electrics!

Couldn’t recommend more if i tried…Great set of lads, faultless in all aspects. Scott and Luke both fitted a mains board change over and EV car charger install 2 weeks ago at short notice and moved jobs about so it was done in time before other work around the house was getting started-all work was completed at a top tier standard, neat&tidy and at a more then reasonable price. Additionally, Scott came back this week at again very short notice and moved his schedule about to first and second fix additional sockets/switches in the upstairs box room to fit around and to suit a desk/furniture that will be going in shortly as it becomes my mums new office for work. 10/10 from start to finish, and wouldn’t go elsewhere. Get on West coast electrical for your electrical/solar services!

These 2 guys fit my storage heaters today. I am so impressed, I was worried there would be wires everywhere. Absolutely no need you wouldn't have know they had been they cleaned up after. He explained how they work so I am confident how to use them. They were so polite. I would highly recommend.

Only had an initial consultation over the phone for the installation of a solar system with battery pack and Ev charger. So far very impressed with how knowledgeable, thorough and professional the man was.

Excellent, reliable, efficient and extremely well priced. We had a problem with the griddle in our shop and they literally came within an hour - that too on a VERY hot Friday afternoon! Highly recommend!

We were complete solar novices and everything was explained to us. We decided on an 8 panel system, at a very reasonable price. The install was perfect and left clean. They are very knowledgable and will also be helpful in the future.

Had Alpha 5kw inverter and 10.1kw battery installed by Scott and the team. Scott was very thorough from presales to finish and have done a great job. Highly recommended.

Luke and the guys rewired my new kitchen, professional from start to finish, turned up when the said they would left the place clean and tidy. All the work was perfect cannot recommend enough. Price was reasonable too........

This company is amazing. My elderly parents called me at 11:30am saying there was no lights or heating. I tried British Gas but they couldn’t get someone out until the next day, leaving them in a dangerous situation. West Coast had someone round at the property by 1:30pm and had it sorted in a couple of hours. For a same day service, with someone onsite within an hour, and the problem sorted in less than two hours, they cannot be beat. Thank you to the team, you made a big difference today.

Scott, Luke and the team recently installed our EV charger - which required a long run of armoured cable being buried between the house and garage, upgraded our pendant lighting, installed additional outside lighting and sockets. The work was completed to an excellent standard, and was reasonably priced for the amount of work undertaken. I would highly recommend West Coast Electrical for all electrical work.

What should’ve been an easy job turned into a not so very easy job but nothing was too much to ask the two young men who came to fit some light fittings….would definitely recommend this company…very professional and polite

Fantastic from start to finish! I dealt with Scott prior to the installation of high heat retention heaters and connecting up to Solar PV and a ventilation system in the loft. He took me through (in technical terms and also terms I could understand) how these steps would improve the efficiency of my home and how they would be installed, also offering plenty of advise. Quickly found solutions for any problems that arose. Scott and Luke carried out the work and I’m very happy with everything they did, including sorting out a rather jumbled up fuse board and also noticing potentially dangerous wiring in a different part of the house. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Top job and had a good laugh whilst doing it. Even did the hoovering up! Highly recommend
