SES have fitted infrared heaters at your church and it is finally warm!!. Before then we had inadequate heating and a very cold church. Chris and the team were all extremely professional, and quick to install the heating system. They worked with us to determine the best place for the heaters and, when there was a slight issue after installation, they replied to our call quickly and returned immediately to rectify. The new heating means that we can now fully utilise the building. We would definitely recommend SES.

It was time to replace my 20 year old boiler, at the same time I was also looking for a solar / battery / grid powered hot water system to run my domestic water for washing and showering, a call from Chris at SES not only saved me money by purchaseing a Sunamp battery system and a smaller 15kw boiler, Chris also arranged for a plumber and a local electrician, in my eyes the fitment and pipework were a work of art, being a retired engineer I appreciated the time that was taken by Davie and his apprentice to install the units also working a 12 hour shift to ensure we had hot water and gas that day, the electrician was also very professional, now the systems are up and running I am looking forward to reduced utility bills. I would most definitely recommend Scottish Energy Saving and more than happy to respond to any questions, well done Chris and his team.

In 2020 I moved into a house with no gas supply. The house had electric storage heaters and an immersion heater. Despite being on an economy 7 electric supply the bills were horrendous with “heat” only being available from 2330 to 0730 hrs which is not when it is required. SES installed a SAHP system for the hot water and infra red heating panels controlled with a Lightwave system. The hot water bills came tumbling down and I now heat the house when I want to, rather than to suit Scottish Power. The heat pump gave me access to Octopus Cosy which gave further savings. Further savings were gained by installing solar panels and a battery storage system which meant I did not pay for electricity for six months spring to autumn. Chris at SES was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I live in a village with an erratic mains power supply and I usually get 4-5 power cuts a year, with a recent one lasting 24hrs. I got in touch with Chris at SES who was helpful, energetic and enthusiastic and gave me a quote for a 13.5kW GivEnergy battery system that would link to my existing solar panels. He was able to answer the questions I had and he supplied me with example pictures of previous installations he'd done. I was impressed with both his technical knowledge and people skills, and I was happy with the quote, so we shook on the deal and agreed a starting date. Nathan turned up nice and early on the agreed date and after a quick tour of the place and a chat about options for cable runs, etc he got cracking, and virtually never stopped the rest of the day. He kept me updated with progress and double checked what I wanted whenever queries arose. By 3pm he was done with the tools and into setting the system up via the app. He left the house very clean and tidy, and had all his rubbish collected in a cardboard box...if only all contractors were like that! As for the battery, it's doing exactly what it said on the tin. It charges up within 2-3 hours on my cheap rate, overnight tariff and then powers the house all day. I've not had to use any mains electricity at the day-time rate, which is a big saving. I'm in a 3-bedroom cottage with an air source heat pump. It has coped with that, the electric cooker, a dehumidifier, a few hours of tumble drying and a short, part-charge of my electric car, with capacity to spare. So, long story short.. I'd definitely recommend a GivEnergy battery system from SES.

We’ve had our solar panel and battery system in for one month Oct/Nov 24. Design, discussion and organisation was great. Installation was very quick and to a high standard - so we are very happy with the system, quality of equipment, high quality workmanship by professionals (I’m a spark to trade and this was a top quality install). We’ve saved a great deal on our electricity consumption already, so it’s definitely worth it considering the time of year, short days! Overall 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Update April 2025 - well, the performance of our solar battery system is much better than expected. Our electricity energy bill for mid February/March was zero!!! This was for a period of mixed weather conditions, lots of cloudy days too. So the verdict to date is very positive. Our energy supplier is refunding a substantial amount of our credit and our monthly payments are substantially lower, we are heating our hot water using excess electricity generation instead of using gas! Longer days now so my advice is , go fot it. What’s not to like? 6 stars now 🤩🤩🤩 One year on! October 2025 - What’s the result of a full winter, spring, summer and autumn? In short we have paid for 28% of our electricity consumed, not bad eh? 72% saving. No bills in the 3 month summer, our exported electricity refund paid for our gas consumption too. Just keeps getting better😀

Having received eight text reminders of an appointment, the gentleman did not show up or communicate until I chased him some two hours later. Poor excuses for absence and now three different requests for a review!

Chris and his team installed our SAHP and several infrared heating panels. Very happy with the end result and they've been a pleasure to work with.

It's a good moment to shout out Chris Taylor and Scottish Energy Saving who installed the 12 solar panels and batteries which power the kitchen and workshop at our Grow West Fife kitchen and workshop. Today our batteries are full, we're generating more than we're using and exporting power to the Grid. We weren't the easiest customer but our system is working brilliantly and we're very grateful to Chris and colleagues for their continuing support. 🙌🙌🙌

We have had a Solar Assisted Heat Pump and Battery Storage installed by Scottish Energy Saving. It has been a very straightforward process. Chris explained the systems and our options very clearly; he is pleasant, courteous, and very easy to work with. The electricians, on both occasions, were excellent - their work is of the highest standard, and they were extremely careful and courteous whilst working in our house. We are delighted with the results!

Having decided that we would benefit from solar panels as part of our drive for energy efficiency, we got in touch with three possible suppliers but decided on Scottish Energy Saving as they were very competitive and, as a bonus also local. Chris eloquently explained the installation parameters using graphs etc. and this was carried out efficiently with little disturbance to our daily routine. The other benefit is that SES also installed a solar assisted water system at the same time which gives us virtually free hot water, particularly when the sun shines, ,employing a battery storage system. Chris has been available ongoing for all our queries and updates.

Chris from SES designed a solar and battery system for our property tailored to our needs. A professional pack was sent to us before agreeing to the installation. The installation tool 2 days and was carried out professionally, with no mess left behind. We have been really pleased at the results of the system and find the phone app easy to use and understand. I’d recommend SES to anyone looking for the design and installation of their solar/battery system.

Chris and his team at Scottish Energy Saving provided me with great technical expertise and we agreed on a SAHP as the solution for my particular issue in converting a large property with a heating system and no centralised hot water. Their friendly service and can-do attitude meant that the attic install (not the easiest of manouvres) went relatively smoothly. A subsequent issue was satisfactorily resolved with Chris's intervention. He knows his stuff! Several years on and the SAHP has never not provided us with ample piping hot water and it uses minimum power resources. What not to like?

I called Scottish Energy to discuss why sort of SAHP would best meet my needs. The team were extremely helpful and from order to installation was only 4 with Christmas in between. The installation team were professional and did a great job fitting the unit into a tight space. We are extremely happy with the end result. Great job, Well done. Thanks to all at Scottish Energy. Highly recommended!

Scottish Energy Saving provided a prompt and efficient service. We had a solar assisted heat pump installed for hot water, a battery to store solar energy and an EV charger. The work was carried out with minimal disruption.

Originally looking for air source heat pumps but Chris suggested some alternatives and explained the pros and cons of each. Fitters arrived to fit Solar Assisted Heat Pump and promptly set about installation. Only took 5 hrs and all areas cleaned up after. Very good experience.

The guys who came to install the panels where great, arrived on time and super efficient. After they left, apart from the new panels you wouldn't have known they had been in the flat and where really happy to explain anything we asked. Left our place super tidy. Really flexible on where we wanted the panels, some wall mounted and some ceiling mounted. SES where great though the whole process, really impressed with the quality of service all round.
