David and Ryan recently replaced our main consumer unit, as well as running wiring for additional sockets and induction hob. Couldn't be happier with their work - box and wiring all tidy and neatly labeled. Very honest and pleasant to deal with, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

An excellent, professional job done by David. He explained everything, got on with the job and tidied up at the end. I'm very happy with the work that was carried out. David is excellent, very professional and kind to do LED installation when one of the electricians let me down three times in a row. David saved me last minute. I highly recommend them and would be using them again. So far top notch service. He also fitted one of switch boards free of cost. He went above and beyond.

Recently contacted dave due to a problem with electrics in bathroom. Despite not feeling well, he took time to explore the problem and was then able to fix it... All down to his diligence and knowledge. This ended up saving me a lot of time, money and hassle! He's also a really friendly personable guy and I can't recommend him highly enough! I can't recommend Macdonald Edinburgh Electrical Limited highly enough! They are very professional, always on time (or early) and worked solidly for more than 12 hours a day to re-wire our entire home in less than a week. Lovely people to speak to and really excellent electricians.

I liked the common sense proposals about cable runs and appreciated their response about data cabling that could be carried out more easily that I had expected. I was impressed that they contacted me to discuss the data cabling solution.The quote was clear and well presented. When combined with the confidence I had following their site visit, I decided to accept their quote.

Excellent, good quality service from this company. Craig who I initially spoke to explained what I should be looking for re an electrician, as I had no idea what to expect. Being a single mum I wanted to make sure my house was safe for myself and my son. I also didn't want to take the first quote I was given, Craig explained it was good to do this. He had a friendly manner and I appreciated him explaining this to me. After two quotes I went with this company. Craig kept me up to date with the electrician David's initial visit to see exactly what I needed done, and answered any questions I had quickly and I was put at ease. David arrived on time on the agreed date, he double checked with me exactly what I had requested, and explained what he was carrying out during his visit. He was quick and efficient throughout the day, and even tidied up after himself. I would definitely recommend this company to carry out any electrical work you may have. David did the EICR efficiently and at a good price. During this he discovered several faults with the new fuse board installed only 2 years ago, one of them potentially dangerous, and fixed these quickly and again at a very reasonable price. Most impressed with this and the way he e-mailed all the necessary documents to me on the spot. Highly recommended.
