Any issues are quickly addressed , thanks to Claire she is on the ball! Painter and plaster are a credit and a real asset to the company . Flooring company rather miserable and abrupt but that’s their issue ! Very quick to address issues and very easy to contact . I would absolutely recommend the company . Liam very engaging and nice natured !

Appointed to fix a loose bath handle Left with a hole in the wall, 3 damaged wall panels, an unsealed & unusable bath and no effort to tidy up the mess they left

Avoid like the plague, the attitude absolutely stinks from their electrician, swearing and cursing because we asked a genuine safety question about a socket that we obviously won't know the answer too as we are not electricians, completely disrespecting my wife and placing my disabled child in a situation to the point my child felt very uncomfortable in our own home. Then to insult us by farting and burping around our home to the point the stench had to be aired out for hours after this guy left is beyond belief. This company deserves it's reputation. Simply put it you need a electrician go elsewhere and be careful as this company uses many different names

Didn't show first time and second time , I wonder how Newcastle city Council use them as contractor . Wast two days of not working .

How do get this company to do the snagging. These were the contractors for Newcastle city council for rising damp. Work.This work needed , was done within the timescale mid July. I've rang many times and provided lists of the snagging that's needs done. Project manager has received list. Verbal lists after I've rang them . I chose to stay in my property while work was being done. It was like baby sitting a bunch of school children . I then found an electrician in bathroom trying to remove the fan. Had he read the information regarding what was to be done he would not have ruined the decor on the wall , as no work work was was being done in bathroom. The fan still needs to be sealed in . The painter was going to use the tester pot of the paint to paint round fan. No way was matt paint going on vinyl silk bathroom paint. This is still being argued over. Get the paint mixed and do the repair. I had to cancel my decorator because of the snagging . It's now time to shame them (ha ha). I've got letters drafted for local councillor and the housing ombudsman. It's been two and a half months and still no further forward. Please think hard before you consider using this company as you could end up regretting ever contacting them. Update they have now handed snagging over to the council. They were here 21st Oct to do another snagging list . Are the council doing the snagging or sending the list to A J in the hope they are going to send someone out to correct everything.

They didn’t turn up at ours for the morning appointment that was booked and they stated strongly r u gonna be in ??peeded me off tbh don’t book and state the painter will be at ours if he not gonna turn up,or have the decency to ring and say they cannot make it!!utter CRAP

Avoid at all costs, 3 visits for plumber to fit kitchen sink so it wont leak, flooring not level and coming up at corners after 1 day also only seeled in places at the edges. Over half of all handles not straight with screws jammed in leaving 1cm of threads showing! Window ledge loose with 3cm gap under it. they broke my cooker door by trying to lift the cooker by the plastic handle. Plasterwork has holes and Dents. Sockets loose and not flush to the wall. It's a shame I can't upload the photos for future customers to see. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!

Had them booked in for the kitchen, didn’t even bother turning up! Says everything you need to know about them

Took the day off work waiting for a project manager to visit… did not show up. Rang twice was told he was coming on the first call second call the receptionist told me he came as his van tracker said he was near the property and he was now not answering his phone Conveniently. I told her I have a camera on the outside of my property which shows he did not come anywhere near my house between 8-2 and I would gladly send the footage. She basically said I either need to make a complaint or rearrange the appointment. Absolutely fuming at the level of unprofessional service.

Just had my bathroom changed into a wetroom couldn't be more happier, Very professional and everyone who came to do the job was friendly. Bathroom completed within 5 days! Highly recommended to anyone 👌 Really pleased 😀 5 🌟 🌟

Currently getting kitchen done..br9ke my fridge syated wired was frayed..it was not! Damaged all my floors with plaster that been dropped...electrical wire expose as NO trunking around it WALLS STILL NEED PAINTING and as they threw away my cooker extractor...2 weeks no cooker can't cook as alarm just keeps ginng off ABSOLUTE cowboys had someone out on Monday.. heard nothing since... STEER CLEAR they will leave your home a mess

They had the contract of our bathroom replacement. They did well at the beginnig, but they left the painting incomplete. I rang about 10 times they were just promising that we will send the painter but never happened. Every time a lady was answering the phone and telling that OK, I talk with the supervisor and give a call back, but they never did that. I decided to do the incomplete painting myself. Not a good company at all.

I would like to share my experience with this company, I was dreading my wetroom getting done after reading the reviews, but I'll tell you what, I couldn't praise this company enough, what a great job the lads have done, they were fantastic, pleasant friendly, thorough, what an absolutely fantastic job they've done, no faults at all, and the young ladies on reception/phone, were great aswell. I'm very happy with A&J keith bathrooms and I would recommend this company and the lads who dealt with my bathroom, thank you very much it's full marks off me.... 5✴️

Just had my kitchen done by a+j /heat solutions can't really fault them to be honest joiner done a mint job super happy with my kitchen and the labouring lads where good grafters , found them easy to speak to if needed.

If i could give half a star i would customer service nothing short of shocking , take day off for finishing dont turn up tell you people coming dont turn up, amateurs hammer hole through to sitting room, cant get in touch with them never answer the phone absolute joke, come to do jobs then have to go away cause they cant do them shouldnt complain as its sorted through council but for anyone paying… well

If you’re unfortunate enough to have to get a disabled facility’s grant through the council they will contract it out to the cheapest bidder. Unfortunately this is the company that will come and ruin your house take 10 times longer than promised and leave you with a load of problems for the future would have been better off not getting the grant.

My Wife and I recently had our bathroom renewed, YHN gave this company the contract, they were meant to start on 18th October, no- one turned up, I rang them and was told it would start on 23rd October, no- one had the courtesy to inform us. On the 23rd it was arranged for them to come at 10AM, they arrived early when we were out which they knew we would be out. They eventually arrived in the Afternoon and only stayed 1 hr! They regularly did not turn up with no communication. The office staff are totally useless, I rang them multiple tines and asked to speak to the manager and was told time after time I would get a call back and this never happened. This company are the most incompetent and unreliable company I have ever dealt with. Complete amateurs.

Not long spoke to the woman on the phone, the receptionist I am only assuming. Her attitude is disgusting. I have no idea how she’s got a job dealing with customers. Unprofessional manor on the phone, I’m pleased it’s a recorded phone call as someone can listen in on how she’s talking to people. She was raising her voice at me and when I asked her not to shout she came up with an excuse that someone was next to her talking. I wouldn’t bother using this company. Terrible customer service, all because I missed the engineer at the door. She was even implying I was lying about not receiving a card through the door. Which I did not receive. I’m actually in shock!

AJ Keith or home solutions not sure which or both contracted by the council to do kitchen and bathroom. I’m still waiting for a replacement unit for my kitchen as they put in a different colour to the rest. I have a pipe outside which spills out into my yard when I have the washer on or the tap has been running. The extractor fan in my bathroom isn’t even connected was promised new shelves in one of my cupboards so I didn’t have the pantry taken out. The flooring they put down is nothing like I picked. I could go on and on and on, it’s just lie after lie after lie there’s just no communication what so ever. I know it’s a council property but for anyone having to pay I wouldn’t recommend.

A@J Keith were contracted by Newcastle city council to replace a radiator at a bungalow of a disabled lady. They failed to attend the appointment on 1st March, then sent a man to measure the old radiator, and went to purchase a radiator from suppliers. A date was arranged to fit the radiator on 3rd may, morning 8am, the lady was up at 7am waiting, no show, no contact. The lady phoned them and was told they had to attend a major gas leak🤣but would be there on 4th may.The lady was up at 7am waiting, no show. NO contact.After speaking to them, a promise was made, definitely coming on 5th may, morning, no show, no contact. Then after another phone call the lady was told they could not find the radiator, and all of the workers were off for the bank holiday. This company are incompetent lying, lazy and disrespectful to a disabled lady, and so are Newcastle city council who give them contracts, which professional companies should have.Please avoid A@J Keith Wallsend,if you need any type of work done, or you will be sadly let down.
