Great End to End Service

I contacted Wil-Lec towards the end of last year to discuss a Solar Panel and Battery installation. Rod came and made a site assessment and answered all of my questions, then providing clear easy to understand quotations with the different options I had requested in a timely manner. I now have the solar panels and battery installed and couldn't be happier with the service delivered. From the interactions with Rod in regards to the admin elements to the guys who came and carried out the installation, a very professional and friendly approach. If you could now arrange the sunshine to go with them it would be appreciated. Although in fairness they are working better than I had expected on the grey days too.

The workers were incredibly knowledgeable and approachable. After finishing the job, they cleaned up thoroughly. They clarified the necessity of the scaffolding, which had been set up a week prior to starting. This allowed us to complete the preliminary tasks in advance.

Highly satisfied with the installation of solar panels and a car charger, the installation team were excellent, very professional and courteous.

Chose Wil-Lec Group for our Solar, Battery and EV Charger, as our neighbour recommended them and we witnessed them doing a good job. They also offered the Tesla Powerwall3 Battery which was the Product we wanted. Rod, the Contracts Manager initially came to the property to assess the scope of works and gave us an honest and informed appraisal. A few weeks later, the Scaffolders arrived and were superb, only 1 hour to erect at rear of House. The Electrical Techs came a few days later and were brilliant. Very knowledgeable, very thorough and great at answering our questions. The first Day was fitting the Roof Rails. Second day fitting the 16 x 450Watt Bi-facial Solar Panels and commenced Powerwall3 and Tesla Gateway installation and Hypervolt3 EV Charger. Third day finishing off solar wiring from loft and commissioning system. All very slick and extremely neat installation. By the end of the following week, Rod had organised all the paperwork to get DNO approval for Exporting to Grid and necessary Electrical Certs. System functioning perfectly. I would certainly recommend Wil-Lec for Solar and Electrical Installations. They are competitively priced too.

There was no sales pressure and the transparent pricing was a huge plus. ​Excellent communication: The team kept me informed every step of the way, even planning around my work-from-home schedule to manage power outages. ​Clean and professional installation: The work was done with great care, they cleaned as they went, and the final install was incredibly neat. ​I can definitely recommend them for any work you need. My neighbor has even had a system installed too! If you're thinking of using Wil Lec, I can't recommend them enough.

Just had solar panels and battery installed recently by Wil-Lec and cannot fault any aspect of their work ethic from initial consultation to fitting and follow up paperwork. We went to a few companies for quotes and designs. Some were silly money, some were pushy and doing us favours but Wil-lec a local company, were straight talking, maximised the design we needed and did what they said and when they said they would do it. We really recommend this company and Rod for the design and Chris for the fitting.

I had a Solar and battery system installed by Wil-lec and couldn't be happier. The fitters where nice and polite, the quality of the work was superb. Very straightforward project from start to finish.

A detailed interaction with Wil-lec from project concept through to commissioning. Installation team delivered a very neat installation and adapted to our home requirements. The commissioned system was handed over with clear instruction on how to operate. TIGO units were added to the solar panels that would suffer from sunshine clipping, ensuring no power drops across the total system. Slight damaged to guttering during solar panel fit, Wil-lec struggled to source identical replacements and replaced the full back section at their cost. Overall a great job performed in a timely manner.

After numerous calls to different numbers in my area for folks coming up as electricians I called, and actually got a prompt call-back, from Wil-Lec. I made several calls and either got no call back or was left feeling in the dark about arranging for a sparky to come and remove my EV charger from the old house. They were available with not too much lead time, came over exactly when arranged and did the job to a super high standard in good time. I was genuinely very impressed and satisfied with the service and end job. The no nonsense straightforward price quoted was what I was charged and there were no surprises. I high highly recommend Wil-Lec for any electrics jobs.

The knowlege and professionalism shown during the initial visit provided us with extensive information, a competitive quote and follow up emails answering my numerous questions were second to none. The team installing the system (although they looked so young- guess that's just showing my age!) were super efficient, polite and went above and beyond to explain what they were doing and took extreme care of my property. I initially contacted Octopus energy and had an issue with them as they could not provide a quote for 3 months and a projected installation time of 4-5 months. I called Wil-Lec and they had a quote within 1 week and the job completed in just 3 weeks! I had a Solar PV / 10kw battery and and EV charger installed along with a main panel swap (my request and not a requirement) They did an amazing job. Being an ex electrician I am a bit fussy about the finish. I had nothing to worry about as the lads did a top job. Communication has always been fast and I have never had an issue contacting anyone. Highly recommend.

We did our research when wanting solar panels/battery storage installed. Three quotes etc. Wil-Lec were recommended and after numerous conversations/questions from me to Rod @ Wil-Lec we chose them for the install. Rod spec'd the system up to our needs, panels, battery, inverter, immersion diverter etc. The installation was faultless, the two installation engineers were superb, polite and professional. Very tidy installation, no obtrusive wires etc. and the all-black panels are the business. Also, I always say another way to truly judge a company is how they respond to queries after they been paid in full and again Rod/Wil-Lec excelled!!! A truly exceptional team of genuine people. So, if you are looking at getting any sort of PV system installed, Wil-Lec should be your first choice.

Wil-Lec completed my solar panel installation today. At initial meting Rod was very professional and patient explaining every single detail of investment. He helped me a lot with choices bearing in mind principle - what's best for me as customer. Whole process moving forward was very transparent and friendly. Every step was on time as upfront agreed. Ongoing communication all the way through. Installation was completed practically within one day - thanks to hard working, pleasant and very efficient team of installers. Highly recommended!

Just had 10 solar panels and a battery installed by Wil-lec. From start to finish everything was dealt with very professionally, and communication was excellent. The 2 installers were fantastic and completed the job in good time, with minimum fuss and no disruption. I had researched online about solar panels, but I like to spend my money locally, and as there was virtually no difference in price, I opted for the local company. Already seeing a difference in my bills, and with a further rise in electric prices due in October, I’m sure they will pay for themselves in no time at all. Very impressed with Wil-lec, recommend wholeheartedly.

Very professional from start to finish and very quick from ordering the Solar panel and battery system to completion. From the first site visit for survey to the handover at the end of contract everyone involved was very polite and was very happy to answer our many questions. The fit and set up went without any problems and the quality of the work was top notch. I cannot fault any of the staff all very polite and professional. Fantastic service from start to finish from the Wil-Lec team installing my EV Charger. Gave me options on which EV Charger to best suit my needs, and then gave a complete demonstration of the unit when fitted. Very good follow up via email after 30 days to check I was happy with the installation and provided me with updates EV charger company.
