What's the best solar solution for a flat roof? What size of battery would be optimal? How best to configure with an Air Source Heat Pump? What's the best tech out there for our home? These aren't straightforward questions and there's a bewildering amount of sometimes conflicting information out there. CT Walters were recommended to us and helped us break things down step by step in a way that enabled us to make straightforward decisions through the whole design, installation and commissioning process. We wanted to be confident we'd get good customer support, a high quality job done, and with an installer that we could reasonably assume will still be there in years to come if there are any issues. We couldn't praise Danny Kelly and the team more highly for the excellent support provided throughout what was quite a complex installation, requiring the input of a structural engineer. Every wrinkle was ironed out. Everything was delivered to the highest standard and our 21 panel solar array and battery system works beautifully - effectively taking us 'off grid' for much of every day. While CT Walters Electrical Ltd weren't the cheapest, we feel we got really good value for money and we'd highly recommend them to others.

No installation in my case, but got in touch looking to get a 2nd opinion on recommendations made by another company. CT Walters' representative, Danny, was extremely helpful and informative, walking through various technicalities about the different parts of the system, and how the items I was told I needed...wouldn't actually be needed. Great help all round.

Omg, Danny pulled me out of a bad situation where a previous installer had put in solar/battery monitoring equipment incorrectly. My 80 year old relative has been wasting about 5x the amount of energy she’s been consuming and has had astronomical bills as a result! Danny was so kind and helpful, several phone calls back and forth (him pulled over on the side of the road) and eventually an unscheduled visit. He’s my hero of the week and if this is how his employer runs the show, I can’t recommend them highly enough!!!

Danny Kelly of CT Walters orchestrated the installation of EVproject chargers at our Village Hall (Beckley). This was done quickly and extremely carefully, you would hardly know any work had been done other than the appearence of the charger in the car park. Excellent service.

Excellent help in installing an EV Charger and also picking up a few domestic jobs around the house. I made life complicated for them, by they were patient and always on had to get the job done, even popping out at short notice when I asked for help. I couldn't recommend them enough. We’d been considering solar for some time and didn’t know where to begin. CT Walters offered various options, clearly laid out with budget considerations. Communication was excellent at all times and every question (however simple) was clearly answered, which allowed us to make an informed decision to proceed with a solar and battery installation. The installation was scheduled and completed as planned, despite very poor weather conditions. Everyone onsite, from the CT Walters team of Danny and Matthew, to subcontractors, were professional at all times. Since installation, we couldn’t be happier with the system, and Danny has been on-hand to deal with any questions/niggles. A seamless installation from a professional outfit. Amazing service from Danny at CT Walters in sorting out the equipment and installation for my EV charging point by him and Matthew, including a few extra items. I made an enquiry via their website, and Danny responded the next morning. Within a few days, we had agreed which equipment would best suit my needs and arranged an installation date the following week. The communication from Danny was excellent, and it always felt like he had everything under control, On the day of installation, he and Matthew arrived on time, with all of the equipment needed - they had even pre-programmed the EV charging unit and set everything up on the device app ready to use. The installation is very neat and even with my slight OCD, couldn't fault any part of the install...!! Overall, was a pleasure to deal with them both, the system is exactly what I needed and it was all left set-up and ready to use. Highly recommended and a pleasure to deal with, many thanks.

First class solar installation from a first class company. Every member of the CT Walters team that we encountered was professional, competent and considerate. Due to an existing battery backup system the scenario we have on our site is perhaps more complicated than usual. Despite this Danny and his team were able to design and install a 15kW solar system that integrates perfectly with our setup here and has reduced our electrical utility bills during the summer months to more or less zero. The installation was carried out with zero impact on the day to day running of our company; no electrical downtime during work hours. The project also involved a new electrical grid connection for our site which was negotiated and organised entirely by the CT Walters team who, with their contacts and expertise, managed to have installed at considerably less cost than if we had attempted to organise it independently. Overall we are very happy with CT Waters and would highly recommend them for any electrical and solar installations and would not hesitate to use them again.

We engaged CTW to install an EV charger for a newly purchased car charger at home We found them highly professional but with excellent service with a smile The manager Danny was very professional and clearly new his subject and helped things along at home to ensure safety with surge control etc The installer Charlie was equally on-point when it came to installation and the cabling and install was expertly undertaken We also use CTW for commercial work where they are equally as good We would have no hesitation in recommending CT Walters both personally and professionally

We have been looking to get quotes for a solar installation over the last few months, and having had 2 companies who couldn't even come out on site we were recommended to contact CT WALTERS, I am so glad we did. Danny came out to design and discuss our requirements, several times, produced a couple of quoted options and then managed the project. Every stage was explained incredibly well and nothing was too much trouble. The installation team were superb and it was all completed on time. We used CT Walters for a large solar panel and battery installation in our family home. We dealt mostly with Danny who designed a system that would work for our energy usage now and in the future when we look to move to a heat pump and electric vehicle. It was a significant investment, we had a choice of quotes but it was CT Walters that produced the most detailed plan, giving us the confidence to proceed. Over the course of the instal we met several of the CT Walter's team as they worked in and around our home. They were all professional and polite, particularly Matt who we saw most frequently. The system went live and it was remarkable on a cold and overcast January day to see energy coming from the panels and powering our home. Danny spent some time tweaking the system to match our energy tariff and usage and we've been learning to use energy differently, to be fair, we are still learning. So in summary, we wanted to investigate whether a solar and battery system would work in our home, CT Walters worked it through with us, told us it would, gave us options tailored to our future plans and has delivered a system that even now in the winter months is saving us on our energy bills. I bought a new cooker and needed an upgrade to my fuseboard. Site visit and engineer visit all completed within a handful of hours. Amazing! Would higly recommend :-)

The whole team went above and beyond to make our EV charger installation smooth and simple. Their attention to detail is un-matched even down to choosing the right colour cealant for our property to ensure it looks perfect! We had a minor technical issue and this was resolved within 24hrs. Cant thank them enough :-)
