Wes and his team installed a solar system to Stowmarket Golf Centre last week, no fuss, no mess, competitive pricing and always available and approachable. I would thoroughly recommend Wes and WH Electrical and Solar *****.

WH Electrical, installed and set up a 9 panel, 4kw system including 10 kw battery storage and an Eddie system to heat my hot water. From first contact with Wes, everything was plane sailing. Everything was expertly explained and all my concerns / questions answered honestly and everything was included in the quote including the cost of the temporary scaffolding. The installation was completed in just one and a half days ( not including the scaffolding erected and removal time ), just over 2 weeks from receiving the quote. The installation was carried out in a very professional manner, any questions answered as and when, and once completed left clean and tidy. The use of the apps to control the system expertly explained, I have since had additional questions but help was just a phone call away. I did attempt to get other quotes for national companies, however I found WH Electrical’s to be better value at over £1000 less and that didn’t include the Eddie system for the hot water. I did fine dealing with the big national companies very difficult ie not turning up for appointments and long lead times. Dealing with Wes was very easy and had a feel good factor, it’s nice to deal with a local company. The system has now been installed about 6months, all the tariffs with the electricity company have been sorted my monthly direct debit payment reduced to just £30, and for the last couple of months my bill reduced from £80 plus per month to them paying me! Building up credit for next winter. Added information, It’s now been 1 calendar year since I change my Tarif to Octopus Flux, designed for use with solar panels. My monthly direct debit was reduced to just £30 per month ( my account was in credit and remained so all year ). My running costs for the year was, electricity supplied less than £600, I exported approximately £325, making the cost of electricity less than £275. I am very happy with this result.

I had a fantastic experience with my solar panel installation. Wes provided outstanding service from start to finish—always quick to respond to any questions and incredibly helpful throughout the process. His team was professional, efficient, and did an excellent job with the installation. Can’t recommend Wes and the team highly enough. Everything from the initial enquiry to installation went really smoothly. I was really keen to use someone local and independent and no regrets. Wes was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions honestly which helped me decide regarding options. If you are even remotely thinking of getting solar then give Wes a call.

I started the solar journey in January, tendered to 3 companies and added a 4th through word of mouth. Of the 4 companies, 3 visited and one said can quote without a visit . . . so one less to consider! Of the 3 companies, 2 were larger, worked off a checklist, told me what I should have, submitted well prepared quotes; one bombarded me with hard-sell chaser emails, the other waited 6 weeks before calling me to see if I had any questions! Then there was one whose representative discussed with me what sort of system I thought I needed (solar installation with battery storage), listening to my long term objectives (ROI, etc.). Clambered through our roofs end to end; once back down went through the various options with pros and cons of each and with his answers to my questions, came across and technically very proficient, always reassuring! The next day I received 3 quotes for 3 different configurations, each tailored to meet my long term objectives. Needless to say I chose that company, a smaller, independent, local business who listened to my needs, installed exactly when they said they would install, finished on time, took good care of my ageing roofs and everyone on the team were can-do, helpful people. The company was WH Electrical & Solar Ltd from Stowmarket, the ‘representative’ was actually the owner, Wesley Harrison and he remains in touch in case I need any system support, etc. From start to finish and after-sales service ongoing, an excellent experience.

Very pleased with my PV and battery install from Wes, it's working better than I had expected, but then again it has been rather sunny. The whole team did a really tidy job from start to finish and Wes was and still is very helpful. After the install I had a couple of issues which Wes resolved without any fuss or bother. I'm glad I supported a local guy instead of a regional or national supplier.

WH Electrical was recommended to us by one of their other customers. Wes designed and installed a large solar PV and battery system for our home. He was very approachable, helpful and patient in dealing with all my questions before we decided to go ahead. The price was competitive when price checked with other specialist contractors. The instal process ran really smoothly and was completed on time. The operation of the system is pretty straightforward but Wes has been readily accessible to help with any queries. We are really pleased with the outcome, which (at least for the spring and summer) has reduced our electricity bill to almost nothing. I would highly recommend WH Electrical & Solar.

I needed an electrician to complete some electrical work at my new house. I contacted two for quotes, WH Electrical and A N Other (the other one, from a well advertised tradesperson website, did not bother to even send a quote) so I went with Wes. He came when he said he would to quote, promptly sent the quote and arrived on time on the day we had agreed. I found him to be professsional, friendly, polite, helpful, efficient and tidy. He filled the holes where he had chased out walls, made good everything and hoovered up!! I had never used WH Electrical before (I found his number where he had advertised in a local church magazine!!) but was most impressed and would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others......

Wes came to us after we had problems with our solar panel inverter in the loft. He said that it had failed and that we needed a new one. It was ordered and installed within the week and was a fair price. He also helped me download an app on my phone and showed me how to use it so that we wouldn't have to go into the loft to check it. He was very patient and nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend him.

Very good service provided by Wes at WH Electrical. Wes changed my old outdated fuse board - he did a neat job, efficient and professional. Highly recommend.

WH Electrical & Solar, led by Wes, provided an exceptional experience from start to finish. Their professionalism shone through during the initial consultation, where Wes took the time to assess my home’s energy needs and explain solar options clearly, also answering a lot of questions i had clearly so i was in no doubt about what I was going to be purchasing. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction. The installation process was seamless, thanks to Wes and his punctual team. The Scaffolding was put up a day or so prior to the instalation, were we had a 4.4kW Solar System with 10kW Battery and Inverter fitted, with a EV charger also. This work took aproximately two days, then a couple of days later the scoffolding was taken down, So all the work was done within 5 days, we were very impressed. Post-installation, Wes has been very helpful with any questions I have had with regards to learning the system, and even super helpful with me getting to grips with the EV charger that I had issues with after a few power cuts recently. Overall, I highly recommend WH Electrical & Solar for their punctuality, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Wes and his team delivered a top-notch solar solution that’s already reducing my energy bills massively, I am quite blown away with my Solar setup, my only grip is I wish I had done this much sooner.

Wes has been great since the first day we called. We shopped around, and we had a quote from Wes. We chose him because we have a new build house and we wanted no external signs such as cables all around the outside of the building. The other companies wanted to take the least direct least damage route which would have meant my nice new house looking scruffy. Wes listened to my idea and gave it a go and it paid off and panels are the only external sign of the amazing system we have. We have since used Wes to double our storage capacity and we no longer pay for any daytime rate electricity at all. Our hot water in the summer is heated from the solar diverter fitted, meaning minimal gas bills over the year. If I email with any question or concern, even if hes on holiday he replies quickly and fully and gives advice. Top rate service from a top tier local company. We have recommended WH Electrical to others on the estate who are equally as impressed.

Wes installed solar panels, home battery and car charger for us a year ago. He was pleasant, tidy, efficient, flexible, prompt. His design reflected our requirements - he didn't just present us with a design but we discussed various options until we came up with the best solution for us. The installation has so far been problem free. He has replied promptly to a couple of questions I've had during the year. Definitely recommended.

We have renovated our Barn after the previous owners suffered a fire, it gutted the building. This taught me that 'local' tradesman based locally care more as they live in the local community. All our tradespeople had been great on the rebuild maybe as their reputation and word of mouth is the way they gain business. I contacted Wes Harrison at WH Electrical & Solar who has an excellent reputation (based in Suffolk) who was happy to come out and have a discussion about a system around my requirements of generating enough electricity to power our home with option of selling excess back to the grid, battery back up in the event of a power cut. This had the added complication of needing to be a unit that could be sited outside as the cable run to the garage (nearest usable indoor site) was around 70 meters and would have necessitated digging out a route for underground conduit. To finish we wanted an EV charger for a planned 'run around' EV we ordered. My research showed Tesla Power wall 3 could be sited outside, Wes agreed that this would be a good choice given the other requirements I had. I also wanted decent quality panels, Wes agreed to design a system and quote. The system consists of: 20 Jinko 445w Black Panels with Bird Proofing Tesla Powerwall 3 Tesla Gateway with Earth Rod Zappi EV charger Our property is South Facing and has quite a steep pitch so I am hoping this may help in winter when the sun tracks lower in the sky. The organisation from start to finish was simply excellent, scaffolding turned up two days before install day. On installation start everyone arrived as I had been advised, a team of five took just two days to fit the system. I was very impressed that the 'easy' route for some cable runs would have been on the outside of the property, but Wes's team went the extra mile of routing cable though loft spaces and behind cladding the cabling was neat and unobtrusive. All the team were polite and respectful it really was a very smooth process. Wes completed all documentation including DNO where we managed to get 11.04KW export so a real bonus and maximising the inverter capability of the Powerwall 3 I am delighted by the finished result and have joined many in the ranks here of looking at the app to see no grid electricity being used! I have my SEG application in to sell excess back to the grid but in the meantime any excess power is going to the EV charger. I always prefer recommendations with personal experience so I can thoroughly recommend Wes at WH Electrical & Solar Ltd.

Wes and his team were very professional, attentive to detail and all completed to a high standard. Right from the outset nothing was an issue for Wes, a few companies said they couldn’t install because I wanted the battery unit in the garage, rather than in the driveway, as they couldn’t get the power cables past the back gate, whereas Wes was able to accommodate by going under the driveway by the back gate and up into the garage.
