Please do not commission this company to install your PV panels, unless you want a leaky roof and a lot of unnecessary hassle!!! We had our panels installed 3 years ago and this was one of the worst experiences in my life. Their scaffolders dropped a pole into neighbours garden and smashed their glass table to pieces on day one, not to mention their completely unprofessional behaviour (didn't even tell us about this incident, we couldn't work due to how loud they were playing their radio and as a result shouting as well). Installation from start to finish took ages, delays in getting batteries, delays fitting panels due to missing brackets they didn't bring, they were slow to provide MCS and worst of all they left the roof leaking. They attempted to repair multiple times but none of that worked. The roofer then was lying to me saying missing tiles in the roof were a vent and when the scaffolding was taken away they only attempted to repair the roof from the loft!!! Eventually we had to get scaffolding erected ourselves and to get the issues fixed properly. When we managed to get on the roof we found their poor quality of work - check photos, mounting bolts missing rafters, poor installation and sealing of mounts, they've drilled holes in rood tiles and just left them, numerous broken roof tiles etc etc. I wouldn't wish this on anyone so to avoid similar experience avoid Vision2030. Response to Vision2030's reply: Also liars - never did a job in Waterlooville, see attached quote and invoices!!! Second response to Vision2030's comment: It is interesting that your memory of the Waterlooville project has suddenly returned. I have added a screenshot of your original reply to clarify the facts. To be clear: the house was only 10 years old with a perfect roof and zero leaks until your installation. The leaks are located precisely where you pierced the felt for mounting bolts and cable entries—areas where your mounting system was incorrectly applied for this specific roof type. We have now commissioned an independent roofer who produces court-standard legal reports; their professional assessment confirms that your installation was the direct cause of this damage. Your 'attempts to assist' consisted of applying silicone sealant from inside the loft—a temporary patch, not a professional repair. Furthermore, your team falsely claimed that broken and missing tiles were 'vents' to cover up damage. Now that the felt is the only remaining barrier and as it was pierced, it is failing. Lastly, your comment about not seeing photos while scaffolding was up is a self-inflicted point: you removed your scaffolding before the work was properly inspected or tested against rain. We eventually had to fund our own scaffolding just to get the leaks fixed properly and take these photos. Instead of spinning a narrative to protect your rating, you would gain more respect by admitting this failure and providing a real solution.

Quick to demand payments

Quick to demand payments but it all ends there. Query any faults and the 'buck' is passed to the manufacturing companies of the products installed- its their concern not ours. Original installation faulty and required two engineer visits before the system functioned at all. No interest in any form of customer service once your money is in their hands. Hard to understand how the company have achieved the awards they boast. A wooden spoon would be more appropriate. My advice - avoid the company and search elsewhere. Your reply contains a number of false statements - why wouldn't you want to save face? I have been disappointed with the installation from its first failures and have no recall of ever giving the company a good review. Certainly I would never recommend the company to anyone, either now or in the past

Gary visited on a number of occasions to discuss our needs and a good fit for us as regards to what we would need. System was installed in less than half a day and scaffolding was taken down a few days later.

We went to the home energy fair and met Vision2030 who were very experienced and explained options available. Tim their surveyor was very thorough and we went ahead with a solar and battery installation at the same time as we were having roof work done , thereby saving on scaffolding cost. Everything went well and Gary the owner has been so helpful in supporting us with registering the system, coming round to fill out forms . Would really recommend them

Installation team was quick and friendly, everything was explained. I would recommend this company to my family and friends and i have read the 1 star reviews and just to say people do make mistakes and what i have read the company has replied. I just think human beings are sad and like to exaggerate.Remember Rome was not built in a day.

I have had only really good service and follow up care from this company. I would recommend them.

Quick to take money... STAY AWAY

In short - STAY AWAY FROM Vision2030. Quick to take money but offer little to no support service and constantly blame others for their own failures. A faulty install and its taken 18months to get a competent engineer to investigate the issue just to find the original install was incorrect. This resulted in my Solar energy being dumped into the grid, bypassing the meter. I think that may be illegal but anyway. I had zero benefit of going solar. Even after the mistakes were corrected, I still have an issue with the inverter transferring loads to the house rather than exporting and Vision2030 and Solis cannot update me on the issue. Vision2030 offered me compensation which I eventually accepted but over 3 weeks after accepting, I'm still waiting for Vision 2030 to send me an email or payment! Solis support is terrible at best. If you can, stay away from their products. They have zero interest in helping you. I could go on to show just how bad this company is but if you decide to go with them and have issues with the install and subsequent support, don't say you were not warned!!!

Had money, not interested in repairs, poor quality

System installed and working for a couple of years and suddenly stopped working. Zero interest in supporting and determining fault. Had my money I guess so why would they bother Forced into finding an alternative supplier. Promptly received news that the original installation was poorly completed. Bad wiring, incorrectly installed electrical safety and the wrong parts used. Had zero response from vision2030 when I reported it to them. Surprise!! Save yourself some money and have confidence by using a more reputable company who a. Belief in customer service after installation and b. Will ensure the work is of a sufficient quality Run a mile

From start to finish and well beyond we received excellent service. Vision2030 provided a close personal touch, attention to detail, competitive pricing, delivery within a clear time frame that all made selecting vision2030 an obvious choice. Aftersales support has been excellent.

18 Panel 2 battery installation.

We have had our solar panels for just over a year. During the installation there were some technical issues due to some unsynced software updates with the batteries and panel. Vision 2030 were always very quick to reply and get someone out to help us. Once the issue was identified the system has been completely hands off and is working very well.

A very happy customer!

Vision 2030 prove to be a reliable supplier and installer. They kept their schedule and unlike reviews about other companies the necessary scaffolding was erected on time and removed immediately after the installation. The quotation I received was by no means the least expensive but I was impressed with the serious mindedness and professional attitude of the representative who called. He took time to take all the proper measurements rather than having a guess at them, again unlike some other representatives who called, and ultimately the installation has worked well. 15months later am genuinely satisfied and pleased with the service and the product.

If you present Vision20/30 with a request for a solar system that is not “run of the mill” - they diligently research and only when they are sure the system will perform as intended do they commit and install. A first class service. Well done.

I am a very positive about renewable energy and chose Vision2030 for my solar PV and battery installation, but now bitterly regret that decision. I had also recommended them to several friends two of whom also had some issues with their installations but not as bad as my experience. The problems were due to their choice of sub-contractors; the electrical installer refused at the last minute to install the monitoring equipment that I had ordered, and also failed to install half the panels correctly. I only discovered this fact by insisting on the monitoring equipment being installed and then discovering myself that half the panels were not generating. They didn't understand the inverter software they were installing and did no post-sale monitoring of the installation. Additionally the scaffolding company damaged my patio and failed to repair it (even a year on from the installation). I was made to feel that I was the problem and they moaned repeatedly about the problems of suppliers. I would like Vision2030 and other such companies to succeed but they need to pay more attention to quality, and monitor & call to account their sub-contractors, which they didn't do adequately.

I used Vision 2030 to install my solar panels in the West Midlands. They came round at the agreed time and advised on the panels which meet my expecations. The install was good and was able to be installed with minimal disruption to the house. There was a slight issue with a broken tile but they took ownership of it and made sure it was replaced. Would recommend.

Quick friendly service when quoting for batteries being added to out existing PV system. Our setup was a little unique so they went out of there way to find a suitable solution and were very competive on price. Their installers were quick and very helpful.

From the initial consultation to instalment the whole process has been seamless. There was no high pressure sales, just a clear explanation as to how it all works and what the benefits are. The installation team were efficient, quick and professional.

After the netting and solar panels where fitted , within a month the netting started falling off . After 6 months and many broken promises some one came out to sort it . This After the pigeons had spent the summer under the panels . By the following spring more sections of the netting had fallen down . Again more promises of being sorted . On one call to Gary he basically told me he wasn't taking any responsibility for it and to get in touch with the makers of the netting. He then phoned bake a few days later saying he would get it all sorted. But needed 2 or 3 weeks . 10 weeks later stillnothing . I then found a company that would sort it out properly which he has refusnow having to take it to pay for offering only half the I am now having to take it up with trading standards. Would not recommend 😕

This company offered best price from other 5 I have quoted, with premium solar and battery systems and long warranty time . Scaffolding been set up 3 days prior. On a day roofers installed solar panels in couple hours, electricians asked and offered best option for cabling. As well suggested installation place for meter, inverter and batteries. Been trained how to connect to phone to monitor everything and how to understand readings. 5 stars for electricians, very clean job!!! All payments were clear and easy to make. Only scaffolding could dismount faster after installation... but assume that's all scaffolders bug....

From the time that Ben the rep came to see us we have been so looking forward to be up and running and we are not disappointed. The men arrived on Monday and just cracked on with it . 7 panels later , a battery and inverter were up and running in about 6 hours. We are already seeing a difference in our consumption from the grid even in this weather. So do yourselves a favour people , look into this while the time is right. Thank you Vision 2030 , I'm looking forward to better weather and selling back to Octopus 💸💸
