Tethys Energy responded to my request for a quote for solar panels and battery. Jason was very responsive, happy to engage in a dialogue about his proposal and to discuss the pros and cons of alternative approaches that had been proposed. Jason's whole approach made it very easy to choose Tethys. The implementation was managed by Chris, who along with the rest of the team and not forgetting Louise in the office, were always professional, friendly and easy to deal with. The implementation was even completed slightly ahead of schedule. I'm pleased I chose Tethys, would happily go to them again and would recommend anyone looking at a project like this to talk to Tethys Energy.

Contacted Tethys Energy about installing solar and battery storage at my home. Jason Fuller promptly gave me a outline of what would be feasible by e-mail and then came round to undertake a full survey, followed by a proposal with a full breakdown of costings. Installation by Chris and the team was excellent and completed ahead of schedule. The system has performed exceptionally well. Importantly, all the installation documentation and certificates plus DNO connection agreements were sent promptly after completion. Very happy to recommend to others

We used Tethys Energy to add an additional battery to our solar power system. They were not the original system installers, who I had invited to quote but who were very expensive. The price from Tethys was much more reasonable. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the checks that Jason Fuller, the MD, did before he committed to do the work. When his guys did carry it out they were pleasant to deal with and neat in their workmanship. The enhanced system works perfectly. I would be very happy to use Tethys Energy again if I were to expand or replace my solar system. They inspired my confidence and they didn't let me down.

Absolutely delighted - personalised service

I am delighted to be given the opportunity to review Tethys Energy, and his manager, Jason. From the beginning, Jason answered my innumerable questions, tailored the solution to my needs, and deployed the perfect solution, with top quality workmanship. Some other people pretend to be able to design a solar & battery solution remotely, but rather, Jason came to my house to assess with his own eyes. It gave me confidence of a job well done. There were issues with the commissioning of the battery, but he persisted, chased the supplier and duly got it to work - I was in good hands from start to finish. The inverter in the loft is discrete, the controller on the side of the house is discrete and so is the battery in the garage; all positioned to be the least in the way possible. I have been enjoying the solution since April 2024 without any issue whatsoever. Thank you Jason and team !

Myself and my wider family have used Tethys Energy several times now. Initially Jason did a repair job on all our wider families panels, which no other solar company was prepared to discuss. More recently Jason and his team have installed a GivEnergy AIO battery system as well as installing a new consumer unit and doing the necessary electrical safety work for that. The price was competitive (I got several quotes). Jason and his whole team always had excellent communication both in the pre-install phase and when on site. I found the team had excellent knowledge and fantastic attention to detail. I always felt our system was in a safe pair of hands. It was great to be treated as a customer, rather than as a number by a bigger company. I would definitely recommend Tethys.

Our 15 solar panel and battery installation was completed in four days very efficiently .The installers were first class and well versed in the complexities involved. No less complicated was the mountain of certificates,statutory consents,datasheets,warranties etc. accumulated throughout the project and presented in a comprehensive handover pack at the end of the job. A modest sized local business which I would have no hesitation in recommending .

Tethys Energy installed a 5kw solar array with a GivEnergy inverter, a 9.5kw of battery storage, an Eddi solar diverter for the hot water and a backup power supply consumer unit at my home in July 2023. Tethys Energy were always on hand to answer questions, allay fears and give advice before we signed on the dotted line. Jason - the boss- was very quick to respond to phone and email messages. When the installation team arrived, they were delightful - respectful, hardworking, efficient and 100% on board with what they were doing. At the end of the working day they always left things neat and tidy. I think it took them a bit longer than expected for the installation, but they came back the following week to finish things off, commission the system and talk through how everything worked. They efficiently dealt with a minor teething issue we had with Eddi.The office staff were equally helpful with original paperwork, planning and the DNO application. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone who is considering solar and battery storage.

We were extremely impressed by the standard of service Tethys offered. Jason and the team were brilliant, and were very efficient when installing the solar panels. Jason always answered any questions straight away.

I can’t recommend Tethys Energy highly enough. I’m rubbish at writing positive reviews, more of a moaner on TrustPilot. I’ll make an exception here though as Jason and his team are fantastic. Their customer service ability is outstanding. The project is tailored for your needs, their response to questions is lightning fast and they’re diligence in getting the right product at the right price and fitted in the right way is superb. Jason is more than happy to help any novice (like me) understand the various panels, inverters, batteries etc that you can choose from and is great at patiently explaining how it all works. He also doesn’t try and upsell you something if it’s not perfect for what you need. We ended up on a slightly cheaper option as it was better for us. Finally the after sale service is better than I have experienced in any trade or tech product I’ve ever used. All of the documentation, the app setup, the guarantees and certificates are sorted by him immediately after commissioning. Oh and it all came in precisely on budget. Use these guys if you want solar panels, period.

Jason installed the Zappi, ran new cabling underground from the garage, installed a new electric point in the garage, connected to the Hub, installed a new circuit breaker at the electric meter. Then made sure I understood how it all worked. Jason did a superb job with my installation. He was the only engineer, of the many I contacted, who actually visited my home to conduct a proper survey before giving me a quote. I highly recommend Tethys Energy.

Jason knows his stuff and impressed us from the start. Ours wasn't an easy installation on an old building with lots of cabling but his advice was spot on and quote was very professional and detailed. He didn't bat an eyelid while we tweaked it, is responsive, patient and polite from start to finish. Can't go wrong with Tethys.
