Great company, very friendly and super installation- very pleased with our solar panels and batteries, highly recommend

Fantastic! From the very outset dealing with Rob and John through to the installation by Mikey and Toby, the entire process was brilliant. I discussed various systems and options with Rob and John and ended up with a system comprising of 21 panels, two batteries and a car charger. The system works seamlessly however checking the app can become addictive to see the amount of power that is being generated at any one time. The quality of the installation is second to none and in my experience, if anybody at AEC wouldn’t have it like that in their house, they won’t do it in yours! A very happy customer here and I would recommend AEC to anyone.

We have now used AEC Solar three times. Initially contacted them to find and repair a fault on an existing system, then installation of additional panels and moving control equipment during an extension. Courteous, helpful and incredibly knowledgable - we received outstanding service from the team on every occasion and would recommend AEC to anyone.

Installation went well on 1st. April. The problems being with Octopus's Smart meter. It required two visits from their engineer to change the top half of the meter, and then later to recalibrate it and replace the remote monitor. I swopped broadband supplier from EE to KCom not long after panel installation, - had this any effect ? Octopus have only last week sent invoices for May + June & July for electricity supply. But, have yet to tell me the credits for any exports to National Grid

The whole process from start to finish was very smooth and professional. We were especially drawn to the fact that the company uses their own labour and not subcontractors. The work was carried out on time and everything was left clean and tidy.

We contacted John Faville from AEC to discuss having Solar Panels fitted, we were complete novices about Solar, but John did a great job explaining everything! When it came to the day of installation, the whole process was done brilliantly by the guys on the roof and the electricians in the loft. Thank you very much, we would recommend AEC to anyone who is thinking of having Solar panels fitted.

I contacted Rob and his team when we moved into a property that had some solar panels previously installed by AEC. We were struggling to understand how to use the panels and connect them to our account and remove the previous owners. I text Rob asking if he could spare an hour of his teams time to come and assist us and give us a quick lesson on solar panels! Mikey came within a few days and was brilliant, despite a chaotic house with a screaming baby and wild toddler he managed to disconnect the system from the old owners and reconnect our WIFI and get us connected. This wasn't easy as our wifi required some configuration to enable this. Once sorted Mikey explained everything to us and gave us some really good advice around what energy provider to use to ensure we get the best price if we sell back to the grid. Thanks so much, will definitely be using AEC for any electrical work we need in the future.

Came to fix my solar system after roofers removed and reinstalled some panels incorrectly. Discussed what was probably needed and adapted what was actually done when doing the job, so came in cheaper than expected.😃 It was a struggle to find someone who actually wanted to repair a 14 year old system, most were just trying to persuade me to replace it! So glad I found AEC!👍

We can highly recommend AEC to everyone. What a lovely group of chaps, and hard working! We felt particularly sorry for the roofers on 2 blistering days of work! They are all a complete credit to themselves and for AEC's image. We are absolutely delighted with how everything looks, and performs. It's a solid 5 stars from us!

I had to find a company to replace a battery that had gone down in my system, my previous company in Durham had liquidated. John was straight on to it for me and sorted a replacement under the warranty for me. That is what you call excellent, after sales service. Well done & thank you John.

We used AEC to fit and EV charger at our business premises as we wanted a specialist but also a local company. They came and did it within a few days and also returned to iron out some issues we had with using it. Great service, will definitely call on them again.

I had solar panels, inverter & battery installed, John & Rob at AEC were very professional and answered my questions and query’s clearly and thoroughly. The install day the weather was terrible but the team turned up on time and completed as much of the install as was possible, they returned the following week to complete the install. The install team were punctual, polite and cleaned up after completion.

We had a problem with our Inverter and approached AEC along with another couple of companies. The service from start to finish from AEC was exceptional and we would certainly recommend them to others.

Excellent service from AEC Solar. Initially with John who assisted with designing our solar package through to the installation led by Mike the electrician who also guided us through the phone app to monitor the panels performance, staying until 7pm to ensure we were happy. The system is working better than we thought already. Thank you for a very professional experience.

We contacted AEC solar division when we were having some issues and faults on our current solar system. They came out and assessed the system to find there were quite a few other problems that needed addressing. So Rob and the team got to work on a full fault find and repair. The team were very professional and friendly and we would have no hesitation in contacting them in the future. We would highly recommend.

AEC solar installed 16 panels, a 5kW 3-phase Solis inverter and compatible 3-phase Puredrive batteries. They were incredibly professional throughout, with exceptional workmanship (including roof work and finishing). We had an issue with the performance of the inverter, but not due to any fault of AEC and they supported us all the way through to a resolution. I'm sure other installers would have just ditched us to deal with it ourselves. I can't recommend AEC enough.

We had our panels and 2 batteries installed March 2023. Excellent charging all summer and into the autumn. We even get some charge in the winter so our electricity costs have been considerably reduced. With payback, from your provider for excess electricity that you generate, this is a really worthwhile investment.

AEC Solar installed us a 6kw solis inverter with 2x Puredrive batteries . The process was hassle free from start to finish . Our system has been in 6 months and is already over performing in comparison to our proposal . Highly recommended

I had a full system installed 14 panels, battery, inverter and an eddi which uses excess solar to heat my water. The system was professionally installed with no mess or problems. My certification came through 3 days after install which enabled my export with no issues. My system is working well and I know if I have any problems AEC are available to support. I would strongly advise to use AEC solar division
