I had a Solis inverter and two batteries relocated from the loft to the garage and the system extended with an additional battery and enabled for back up socket in the event of an outtage. Simon handled this extremely professionally. He took the time to understand the requirements and then efficiently handled the job from start to finish. The system was properly cross checked and tested as well. I am extremely pleased with the work and level of service provided.

Thank you Simon for successfully fault finding our issues. Found a melted connector, found and removed a dead bird from underneath panels and fixed the hole in the pigeon proofing

We currently have solar panels and also some battery capacity, and made the decision to increase our current battery capacity. We reached out to various suppliers asking for a quote. Simon from Wokingham Solar came back directly and suggested that he pop around at a time that works for us to take a look. Once he had been, and sussed it all out, he came back the next day with a very reasonable quote which we happily accepted. By default suppliers need to wait for the 14 day cooling off period before they can start. However, there is an option to speed things up by completing an express form. This was available, so we happily completed that to rapidly get things rolling. Once we had confirmed that we would proceed and paid the deposit and also filled in the express form, Simon then proceeded to obtain the batteries and also proceeded to fill in all the DNO paperwork needed to gain approval from SSE to install the batteries. The process of getting the DNO took roughly 3 days, and so once he had that, Simon contacted us to advise that he was ready to come around to install. He popped in the next day and very quickly and efficiently installed the additional battery capacity, and ensured that it was all commissioned and operating as expected. We were a little bit nervous that all was not OK, because before the batteries were installed the inverter showed us that what we had was at 50% capacity. After the install, it still showed it as roughly 50%, so how was that possible. Simon popped in that same evening, checked it all again, and assured us that all was well. He explained that the new batteries come pre-charged at roughy 50% hence the mystery was solved in our minds. Overall the entire process has been simple, and easy. Simon very nicely took care of all the paperwork and was also very accessible for all questions we had. We can highly recommend him. For a bit of further context, for anybody curious, we made the decision to increase our battery capacity to enable us to fill them up overnight using a very cheap tariff and then power the house off that during the day. It is all working rather well now that we have enough capacity to duck paying expensive day rates.
