Good work despite some unforeseen difficulties. The only company that answered our questions about a battery set-up that would supply our house in the event of a grid failure. If they didn’t know the answer then they went and found out. I would use them again.

I highly recommend SM Electrical Services Ltd. I dealt with Stuart to install solar panels and a battery in September 2025 following getting three quotes and doing loads of research for the best panels and battery. He visited on site to discuss the requirement and I received a very competitive quote and an answer to all my questions. Everyone involved in the install were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. My solar panels are generating well and the app is showing me that I am 100% self sufficient and have received my first quarterly payment from my export tariff. Next is underfloor heating and I will be calling Stuart.

I worked with Stuart from SW Electrical for my solar installation, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. They came out to do a proper, professional survey, and after getting quotes from three different companies, SW Electrical were the ones that made me feel I was in safe hands. They calculated exactly what my home would need, installed 18 panels, one inverter, and two 5kW batteries, and kept me updated every step of the way. Friendly, reliable, and genuinely professional from start to finish. The team left the place clean and tidy, and the whole experience was smooth from the first visit to the final handover. Highly recommend them — excellent service all round.

After much searching and bad experience with salesmen from national companies, I eventually decided to appoint a company who had en electrical background. Spoke with Stuart Hope and explained what I wanted he patiently took me through solar systems And provided a comprehensive quotation. After further discussions I appointed them to carry out the work. This was done as agreed to a very tidy and high standard. Is the system performing as promised? Yes absolutely in fact it has so far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for solar give them a try! I was glad I chose them!!

SM Electrical installed an electric car charger onto our house. Not knowing much about EV chargers, SM Electrical took the time to advise on a suitable charger and explained the best installation method from the fusebox with minimum cost implications. The install was neat and tidy with the finishes looking great! I would recommend the team for anyone looking to install an EV charger.
