Just had it installed the electrician was brilliant communicated well. Scaffolding turned up Wednesday and was done in 5 hours. Thursday the electrician arrived at 8am and the roofer 9am. They were both finished and gone by 1pm. Even got photos of the work from the roof using the roofers drone. Superb job

Clear explanation of the options and cost. Good communications throughout from initial enquiry to the removal of the scaffolding. Subsequent contacts in relation to the workings of the system have been easy to follow, and any queries have been dealt with quickly. We were saving money within 8 days of the initial survey.

Fantastic… I can’t find any other way to describe my experience. I would highly recommend getting solar energy both for your carbon footprint and energy costs. The world is in a mess right now and you can only benefit.

The service provided by Project Solar from the initial survey to the installation was excellent. All of the team were friendly and helpful. The installation was carried on time and thoroughly professionally. The information and guidance on system functions were really helpful.

Avoid these guys if you can

Avoid these guys if you can, they over charge for the solar packages, upto double to price if you shop around! They don’t have the best interest of the customer at heart, they just want a quick easy job/sale. They quoted for panels on a north facing roof which 10+ other company’s strongly advised against, most likely because the east side roof was slightly harder to access. There’s a reason why they send a salesman out! Do yourself a favour and do your research and get multiple quotes and you’ll quickly learn too to stay clear of project solar.

Hi All I would like to give my opinion about the initial visit from Project Solar Uk. It was an enquiry left by us to them on line. We have set up a visit for 7pm as I'm working long ours. Simon have done the summary and calculations about our house and he knew since morning that we would not benefit from installation due to roof capacity. He still attended the appointment even though other company didn't without explanation (we have been waiting and no one turned up) He explained why we couldn't have installation on our house. He is very knowledgeable Man and I'm recommending this Company.

Avoid at all costs or it will cost you thousands! My nearly 80 father was heavily conned into buying 12 panels and huge £5k battery. Hes had it 18 months and only earned a third of expected money. Hes still paying £80 to his electric company. The panels overload multiple times a week. My dad id living in fuel poverty now he's spent over 16k on pan4ls he didn't need. He was miss sold them. Told lies by the installers . They even took his mobile phone to install the aaps required and switched him themselves over to octopus energy. My dad is nearly 80 he has no idea how to use the apps installed. Ive had a look at the fox cloud app is super complicated. All of his life savings went on panels that he could have got for half the price through octopus themselves. Don't be ripped of people. This company puts yhem up quick then doesn't want to kniw when theres an issue. Ive complained about the miss selling and lies that forced my dad to sign up. That was a year ago. Heard nothing since. My poor dad has lost thousands and has suffered anxiety and heart issues from the stress of these panels. He lives alone and with 12 panels plus a huge battery he shouldn't be paying anything towards his electricity bill! Stay clear especially if you are elderly. Choose octopus instead. Like my dad wishes he did.

Excellent communication from the initial survey through to the installation completion, we have never had this from a company before! The installers were very friendly, polite and did an extremely neat & tidy job. They may be more expensive than other companies, but you get what you pay for. Good finance options if you need it. Extremely happy with Project Solar Uk would highly recommend.

We have just had the panels installed. Both the scaffold and instalation team where a pleasure. We have a conservatory and has been worried. But all very respectful of our property and really helpful. Would recommend. Lots of regular communication from the office team which is very reassuring being new to solar panels. Even our salesman, took time to ensure we fully understood the process and seemed to have extensive knowledge and experience. We can see everything working well and can't wait to see our bills drop.

It has been an excellent experience from start to finish with Project Solar UK. Stephen their sales representative visited and gave a comprehensive overview of benefits, choices etc and helped retrieve current usage from the current energy provider. There was absolutely no pressure through this process and at the end it was entirely mine and my husbands choice to have installed the solar panels and battery system. We agreed a date and the scaffolding was installed by a professional, caring team. The electrician who installed the battery system was fabulous, clean, tidy and explained everything including the use of the App. The solar panel installers were so good you would hardly have known they were there. Clean, tidy and removing all packaging, a great job was done. Stephen is coming back to assist us with understanding the system and moving to a different energy provider in order to get the most out of our new Project Solar UK solar panel/battery installation. An excellent Company to work with.

From start to finish, Project Solar exceeded my expectations. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and transparent throughout the entire process. What really stood out was their commitment to quality—every step was explained clearly, and I always felt informed and confident in the decisions being made. The installation was smooth, efficient, and completed on time. The crew treated my property with respect, and the system looks fantastic. Beyond just the installation, their customer service has been excellent—quick to respond, patient with questions, and genuinely invested in making sure I was satisfied. Fitters arrived nice and early, they were polite and worked hard. Didn’t take as long as I thought it would take. They done a brilliant job making sure they cleaned up after themselves. The company kept in touch right from ordering. Then calling yesterday to check how things were going then called again this morning to check we’re happy. I can’t fault the company

Two vans turned up with 2 men in each. Two put the panels on the roof, 2 did the electrics, one in the loft & one outside. The electrical work is amazing, so neat & tidy. Very impressed with all the workers, polite & hard working. All in all a lovely job & company very helpful & informative. Would totally recommend Project Solar from start to finish.

The Whole experience was First Class from the start to the finish. No pressure sales when we had the estimate, to the fitting and run down on how it all works, All staff are on top of it, they were always in contact, very friendly and always had good time keeping. Cannot recommend Project Solar UK enough. From my initial meeting with Mark on the sales team through to the install and post install service hey have been incredible! Mark was very knowledgable and helpful. The install team were on time and worked to a very high standard and speed having the whole install done before 2pm! Thank you all very much!

Right from the start when I approached Project Solar for a quotation, I found everyone to be very knowledgeable about their product and what would suit my requirements. From the sales staff, installation team and even the scaffolding people they use, everyone was friendly and kept me informed of what was happening and when. They arrived and departed exactly when they estimated. Very tidy and clean workers. All installation is very professional and tidy. Would recommend Project Solar to anyone and with the fantastic guarantees and certification they hold, I couldn’t find anyone else to match.

After a bit of negotiation, I managed to get the overall cost reduced significantly. As soon as all the i's were dotted, and the t's were crossed. The process has been seamless. The scaffolders from Mellor Scaffolding were excellent and very efficient. The delivery driver with all the components for the job, was such a nice guy. He was astounded that I was prepared to give him a hand unloading. The team that installed the panels on the roof, arrived at 08:30 and were finished by 10:00! They put some graft in. To finish I had Scott the electrician, who was very efficient and methodical. Also very tidy in his work, he had just finished the installation. When the compliance guy showed up to inspect the job. Everything was all wrapped up by 15:30. I 1st made contact with Project Solar on the 28th of June. One month later, I have got fully installed solar panels, and system!

The Team at Project Solar are Great! They are very clear and understanding and happy to answer any questions. Our Surveyor James was fantastic at explaining the process from start to finish and more importantly the savings and potential earnings we could get with Solar. There was absolutely no pressure to go ahead, James was very understanding about our financial position, and unlike other company’s that come round and try to bully you into signing up and then become very rude when you politely decline, James was very polite and more importantly I felt he was honest. I’ve spoken to James since the installation as he phoned to ask if everything went okay, which it has! I also spoke to Caspian and Sam over the phone throughout the process and both were a pleasure to talk to, Caspian was very supportive and made it clear he was just a phone call away if I had any further questions. Sam was very polite and happy to hear everything has gone smoothly. The scaffolding team very polite and very efficient, arrived on time and done before you could say “metal framework”! The Solar Panel installation team again very polite, arrived on time in the morning and were done by lunchtime. They were very thorough and explained the App very well. We’re so impressed with our new solar panel system, we only wish we’d done it sooner! We highly recommend Project Solar, the customer service and after care have been exceptional!

Extremely pleased with Project Solar. From initial contact to discuss options through to completion they have been excellent in all respects. Especially Tony Chatwin who took the time to understand our needs and talk through the options with no pressure, then remained available for any questions as well as attending the installation to make sure everything was going well. It felt very comforting that we weren’t just a sale but that he actually cared that we were happy with the work carried out. The scaffolding company and installers were also extremely good. Respectful of the property, kept us informed and made sure we were happy with where cables would be run and explained how the brackets work and the seals etc. Dealings with the office have also been really good, keeping us informed of progress and coordinating scaffolding and installation efficiently. The warranties on the panels, batteries and inverters are also a definite plus. Thank you to all at Project Solar we are really pleased with the outcome and it’s great that even within a day of installation we started seeing the savings.

Project solar were a really good company to work with - I was very impressed from the start, I found them from an advert on social media and enquired about a quote. They arranged an appointment with me in person and came to the house, the representative Simon was well presented and very well informed and answered all my questions - and I had a lot of questions. My main question was ‘why don’t people have solar panels?’ As I couldn’t see many, if any, negatives in the process or the results! We were able to work out a payment plan that suited my budget and timeframe and I agreed to go ahead. The process was very smooth and efficient and within a week I had an appointment for the scaffolding to go up, the solar panels to be installed and for the whole system to be working! On the installation day the workers were very polite, efficient, clean and professional and everything reassured me that I was doing the right thing. The app is now installed and we started seeing the benefits within 24hrs!! It’s quite exciting to keep checking in to see how much energy we are generating and how much we are selling back to the grid!! I would recommend Project Solar UK for anyone who wants to try solar panels and who sees the benefits in using a professional UK based company, with non international call centres and UK made.

My installation was completed a few days ago, and i am extremely happy with the workmanship, the install was up and running within a few hours. After a very small hiccup with the first “salesman” that i met, which was resolved satisfactorily, everyone i dealt with after was totally professional, honest and upfront. I have spoken to several people at the head office before and since install and they have been very helpful. They have dealt with every part of the project from start to finish. My overwhelming advice would be, please read everything carefully, understand the contract, make sure the numbers add up for you, ask as many questions as necessary and get some advice if you are not sure. If you find that solar is for you, these are the people to go to.

Just had Project Solar supply and install solar panels with storage batteries. The whole process took just two weeks from order to full installation and up and running with my excellent power supplier Octopus. The staff involved throughout were efficient, informative and approachable. My particular concern was potential damage to my roof areas as we have Norfolk pantiles which are often fragile. I needn't have worried no tiles damaged and installers spotted a cracked tile on another part of the roof and replaced it! This company may not be the cheapest but the quality of components and close attention to all aspects of the project makes it worth it. You get what you pay for!

Very good experience when dealing with Project Solar. The sales engineer who came to survey and explain the installation was very good at explaining the system to be installed and the process that would happen. I had lots of questions which were answered very well and those he could not answer he took away and came back to me. It was explained that their product was not the cheapest but as I know quality does cost. So was impressed with the honesty shown. Communication was excellent throughout with email, whatsapp and direct telephone conversations being used. Was kept fully informed on the installation including the erection of scaffolding. The install was completed in a day with good communication and workmanship. In my case the install was on 2 buildings; garage and main house. There was an issue with access to the garage roof from a neighbour's garden which was dealt with sympathetically by the scaffolding team. I was kept in the loop for decisions on cable routing around my property on the main installation day and I found the installation teams polite and pleasant and very professional. The cabling and routing being very neat and tidy. It did not go completely smoothly however as a fault was found with the inverter but this was dealt with efficiently and the replacement was sent the day after and installed and commissioned the day after to their credit. So I class this as a positive as we know unforseen problems do arise but it's the way it is dealt with which was great in this case. Instructions were clear and easy to follow which included getting the system certified for exporting electricity to the grid and getting the monitoring App up and running on my phone. The system has been running for 6mths now without issue and I'm saving money even in the depths of winter. So very pleased with Project Solar and I wholeheartedly recommend them as a professional and helpful company to deal with that have a great product. So overall a qh

I had solar panels installed by Project Solar UK over a year ago. Unfortunately, the installation appears to have been faulty, resulting in a persistent leak that has caused significant damage to my roof, including the trusses. Photographic evidence clearly shows that the damage originates precisely where Project Solar UK team replaced roof tiles during the initial installation. This leak has led to extensive wood rot, which the company now blames for the ongoing issue, despite the rot being a direct consequence of their initial poor workmanship. Despite this evidence and their technicians acknowledging the leak's location aligns with their original work, the company refuses to take responsibility. This lack of accountability is deeply concerning, especially given the ongoing damage and potential safety hazard the leak poses. To resolve this issue and ensure the necessary repairs are made, I will be pursuing legal action against Project Solar UK. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. While I initially had high hopes for them, their post-installation service and warranty support have been extremely disappointing.

The whole process from start to finish has been about 3 months. From initial survey to fitting of panels and equipment. The staff who came to fit it couldn’t have been any better. Happy to talk about installation and how best to fit it and even managed to tidy up the fitting of the panels so that they looked better on the roof. Staff arrived early to beat the heat of the day and were completely finished by 2.30pm. Staff at project solar office have been brilliant and have kept me informed throughout the process. I could not recommend more how satisfied I am about the whole process. Following installation not a scrap of rubbish left behind 100% professional. System included 18 panels and solar edge and 12.3 kWh battery Thanks again for a brilliant level of service.
