Mike and his roofer John fitted 20 solar panels, a 10kWh battery, a 6kWh inverter, a car charger, and a water immersion Eddi at my home. From start to finish, Mike was completely professional. The work was carried out to a very high standard, the site was left extremely tidy, and every question I had was answered clearly and patiently. All handover documentation was provided promptly and in an easy-to-understand format. Mike has been brilliant post-installation, offering ongoing guidance on how the system works and helping with setup and communication with the energy provider. I would highly recommend Mike and John to anyone considering solar and battery solutions.

Mike from Shropshire Renewables was very helpful and responsive through from the initial quote, adjusting it to suit our needs, installation, commissioning and making sure we had all the paperwork afterwards. I cannot recommend highly enough!

I got 3 quotes for solar panels before deciding on who to go with. Having sat through a couple of hours of a slick sales patter with another company, who were pushing to get the job, I contacted Shropshire Renewables for a quote. Gut instinct told me that Mike was being open and honest. We were able to put questions and concerns to him and he answered without hesitation and we felt confident with what he was telling us. We didn't feel any pressure from him. We agreed a date for installation, and Mike arrived at the time he said he would, and he and his colleague didn't stop until the job was done. Mike has left his contact details and is happy to come to us if we have any further queries. I didn't choose Shropshire Renewables based on price, but the bonus is that they were actually the cheapest of the 3 quotes. In fact, they were half the price of the first quote and we have more panels. We would have paid more if the other companies had been as impressive, but they weren't. So with the money that we didn't have to spend, we can book a nice holiday. Thank you Mike and Shropshire Renewables.

Shropshire Renewables have recently completed installing a reasonably large 3 phase pv system on a grain store at our farm. From start to finish Mike has provided us with a very efficient and friendly service - he even fitted a slightly larger system than our original quote - passing on some savings after a drop in component prices! Highly recommended!

Am very pleased with the recent 17 panel ( 6.8 kWh)system, with 10 kWh battery storage install which Mike carried out for me. Despite being some distance away from me he came and did a pre install site visit and answered all my questions most patiently. Running my own business, I understand the impact of reviews on small enterprises. With that in mind, I find it necessary to share our experience with Mike, the director of Shropshire Renewables. My colleague, a mechanical engineer, and I, an architect, initiated discussions with Mike in August about installing our electrical and solar panel systems for an off-grid cabin. During a thorough site visit, Mike acknowledged that the job was straightforward. To assist him, I and my colleague provided a detailed report outlining the placement of electrical components like switches and cabling, which he agreed would be beneficial. However, challenges arose thereafter. Mike repeatedly assured us he'd provide a quote by specific dates, only to miss those deadlines. After a month, we received a concise message on WhatsApp with a vague description of costs. We agreed on an installation date, but Mike failed to appear on the promised date. He eventually arrived on 19th October, yet left the site an hour later without any explanation. Communication attempts were futile, as he only answered when I called from an unlisted number/phone. During our conversation, Mike didn't provide concrete reasons for his departure but I have seen in his response to this review has mentioned issues with the solar panel installation. It's important to note that Mike had requested we mount the solar panels for him as part of the enabling works and that his tasks that day were unrelated to the panels. From our phone conversation during Mikes's exit, I have since gathered Mike was heading on vacation for two weeks, and was fully booked when he came back, which would lead to a delay in our project's completion. This behaviour suggests he might have taken on more than he could manage and was willing to leave clients. While it's regrettable to post a negative review about another small business, I believe transparency about such experiences is essential for prospective clients.

Shropshire Renewables flawlessly installed a 6.4kw solar system with a 10kw battery. From start to finish Mike provided regular updates, making the process clear and simple. Mike is knowledgeable, quick to respond to questions, and extremely hardworking. I would strongly recommend Shropshire Renewables. He completed the work to a high standard, and compared to other solar panel in my area ours look far superior as Mike makes sure everything colour matches. See images. He has been especially great when we have had small issues with Huawei, chasing them up and getting things sorted. I would go back to Mike any day of the week, and fully trusting him with the work.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Manufacturing meant a few of the parts we required were hard to come by but Mike chased them up regularly and always had an update for me without me asking. The fitting is really high quality with lots of care and attention in all areas. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Shropshire Renewables installed a 6kw system with 5kw battery for our home. They did an excellent job and were really knowledgeable on which system would suit us. They were the only installer who responded in a timely fashion and his quick ordering helped to prevent any extended wait for materials to arrive. Would highly recommend.
