We recently had solar panels installed on our factory roof, and the experience was excellent. The installation was fast and efficient, and the team was very easy to work with. We're really happy with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone considering solar solutions.

Energy Gain have installed solar panels to two of our premises. From time to time we have asked them to provide back up when problems arose and they always carried out this work in a timely and efficient manner. I highly recommend them.

Having considered solar panels for a while, I finally took a leap and used Energy Gain. The main reason that I chose to go with these, is the time and detail that they gave me, which was second to none. My main contact was with Carl, who was super professional and really went out of his way to answer my (MANY) questions in a simplified way, which I appreciated. Really looking forward to my business making savings moving forward.

The comments on the site are consistent with my experience which has been very mixed. My initial impression was very favourable (plenty of these comments) with discussions about solar panels, THD and heat pumps with Clive the director, who was certainly knowledgeable and charming and on that basis we have had solar panels and a heat pump installed. From the beginning we have had a number of problems with a poor installation of solar panels, power supply tripping and eventually the solar panels needed to be lifted and the appropriate ground work performed with hired builders before they were reinstalled by EnergyGain (months of solar panel down). As regards the heat pump the compressor has broken twice in 2 years and it has not worked for 9 months of the 2 years. The company who supplied the heat pump have gone into liquidation and initially no tangible help offered to resolve the problem . My conclusions are that Enerygain have good ideas and potentially good products but fall well short on installation and aftercare. Now writing in Sept 2022, i am delighted to update this review with a very positive interaction with Craig Jones, who could not have worked harder to rectify the situation that he inherited from others. I couldn’t recommend Energy Gain UK high enough. We had a system installed pre-Covid and I had an issue with my meter readings. I spoke to a gentlemen called Mike last week and he couldn’t of been more helpful. His knowledge was fantastic, and we got to the bottom of the problem over the phone. I enjoyed the interaction and I’m glad we took the leap when we did, especially with the current energy prices.

Similar to a few people on here I had an installation at my house a few years ago. My inverter recently failed and I got in touch. Phil and the companies Head of Operations was in constant contact. They supported me through the warranty process brilliantly. During the actual installation the install engineers were extremely helpful and talked me and my partner through the works. Great work and after care. We could not recommend them highly enough.

Really pleased with our solar panel install. Very effective throughout the team, from Clive coming around to measure up and talk through the system and Phil always on hand to assist (had to get a panel removed to facilitate some building work and very accommodating). The install team are top rate as well, very considerate and punctual.

We have postponed this planned installation of solar panels as we have lost all our business due to the pandemic being an Event Company, so we cannot commit to non essential costs at present but I have been sent this link to write a review . I can say that throughout all the negotiations and meetings and emails Clive was superb. Knowledgeable and understanding of our needs and once we have funds available again we would proceed with this company . .

My solar panel system stopped working and the company that installed it had gone bust. Contacted local firms to fix the problem. One came round to check it out and quoted £3,000 to sort It out. Spoke to Phil at Energy Gain and explained what was/wasn’t happening....that there was no read out on FIT meter. He suggested the system might have tripped at the consumer unit. He was right. Put the switch back up,and everything up and generating again. Brilliant. Saved me £3k and a lot of hassle. And no charge.

Go and visit their showroom! Roy gave me a tour of all the green exhibits and explained everything really clearly. There is so much to learn about renewable energy and it's so vital for our future. We have plans to do an eco self-build in the near future and I will definitely be returning to Energy Gain UK for advice and products. The whole team are really friendly and welcoming too. Fantastic service!

At first we thought they would be a good company to install our solar panels as Clive the director certainly talked the talk, we have had 32 panels installed for several years now and from the beginning we have had endless problems with as many as 5 panels not working (4 consistently) after numerous phone calls and so many emails still nothing has been done by this company to fix the faulty panels, we have lost a lot if revenue over the past years with the gif summers if late. They have no interest in after sales care just getting money in at the beginning. Their engineers were not very good and we were lied to on several occasions. The installation was so poor they had to return on 2 occasions and install scaffolding to correct the shoddy work they had done in the first instance and still 4 panels nare not working and haven't been since first installed. The guarantee they offer is meaningless and not worth the paper it is written on. I would urge anybody considering using this company to think again there are much better solar panel companies you could give your hard earned money to, not these guys.

Have been comparing solar panel system for some time and I decided to choose Energy Gain Finally. They provided me professional analysis before the panel installed. They also are quite nice to answer any questions I raised to them, and helpful in explaining any point in their work. Solar Panel really help me saving a lot of money and also I can get FIT from such renewable system. Really Fantastic Job!

This company installed my solar panels. Friendly, professional and no issues whatsoever. They were tidy, and helpful in explaining how they work. I especially love sending my FIT reading in just before Christmas, Bonus! Definitely recommend.

Have been looking into Solar Panel system for some time. Approached Energy Gain UK Ltd for a quote and advice. Office staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent advice, assistance with paperwork and explanation of how the system works. Installation engineers were exceptionally thorough, knowledgable and friendly and completed the work with care and pride. Whole bundle installation from scaffolding to paperwork, commissioning and sign off, as well as a roof inspection was completed. System is now commissioned and running flawlessly - wish I had done it sooner. Would highly recommend. Many thanks to all at Energy Gain UK Ltd.

We have had our solar panels for about 16 months now and are really pleased with the results. We have seen a significant drop in our electricity usage and this combined with our FIT payment means that for the much of the year we are either paying very little or are actually in credit. I would definately recommend Energy Gain, we never felt under any pressure to buy, and felt that everything was explained very well. The installation team were great, very tidy and considerate and the installation was all done very quickly.

I would definitely recommend Energy Gain. The installation was much quicker than I expected. Both the sales team and installation team were great. But best of all I can really see a big reduction in our energy bills. Just wish we had done it sooner!

I had a 4kw system installed in December last year and the experience has been in the main positive, with a very detailed and informative sales pitch from Clive, superb installers, who were polite, skilled and quick. Then the negatives, after sales / installation communications is dire, it takes may emails to try and get a response, Im still waiting for someone to acknowledge my request to change my Solar Monitoring layout, never mind get it done. the initial request was sent on the 3rd, so only a week ago - I live in hope of a response, it could be said that its not that important, well its important enough to me to send an email, a response shouldnt be to much to ask. The solar monitoring is down today and has been since 1030 (last update received), now who should I email to escalate that, they obviously dont know as a good after sales team would have informed their customers in a mail drop, or added it to their web page or facebook page or or or......... UPDATE (16-03-16) Phone call from Office, clarified issue, took away, resolved 2 hrs later - thank you (Have now assigned 4 stars to reflect overall impression)
