This is the 2nd time I have used Ceiba…, both times they have gone above & beyond what you come to expect from companies. From the start of my project at the planning stage they kept us informed.

Experts at both installation and maintenance

I've had a very positive experience with Ceiba when they installed our eletricity storage battery a few years back. So when my usual roofer realised that some roof repairs would require temporarily dismantling our solar PV array - something he did not feel confident to do - I approached Ceiba with a question of whether they could offer this service. They did in fact offer to send a roofer qualified to do both the PV removal / reinstatement, and roof repairs, which made it a lot easier to coordinate things! Everything got arranged over the email and phone, with some photos from our side. The roofer was great too - professional, courteous, and efficient - and did a very thorough job with repairs, and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Ceiba to others!

5 Stars – Excellent Service and Installation from Ceiba Renewables I recently had solar panels installed with a Hanchu ESS battery and inverter from Ceiba Renewables, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. The team was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, offering expert guidance throughout. Based in Glasgow, they are passionate about using top-quality technology that delivers strong performance, and they provide options to suit our budget. The installation was seamless, and the work was very tidy. Our battery is installed outside in a cabinet. It’s neat and is a great finish If you’re looking for a reliable, tech-forward renewable energy solution, I highly recommend Ceiba Renewables.

Excellent Service from Start to Finish

We were struggling to find a company to take on the work, but Ceiba Renewables were professional and supportive from the very start. They did an excellent job, and even when things didn’t quite go to plan, they were the first to get in touch and sort everything quickly. Special thanks to Duncan, William, and Gayathri during the setup stages, and to Simon, Leanne, and Ryan during the installation—each of them was happy to give their time, talk things through, and make sure we were comfortable with every step. Everyone we dealt with was fantastic (apologies if I’ve missed anyone!) and I couldn’t recommend Ceiba Renewables more highly.

I contacted Ceiba because of the reviews they get, I had a few quotes before them by the typical double glazing salesman approach, the 1st question they ask is will the decision-makers be there? You then have to sit through a tedious presentation of the fortunes you’re going to save & why it’s important that you sign up today! Ceiba on the other hand focused on educating me, explaining what was right for me & more importantly what was wrong, because of their advice I decided to not take Air source heat pumps forward in my planning simply because it was not right for me and my particular circumstances. I did however purchase solar panels & a Tesla wall. After agreeing the deal we then had a survey which highlighted the fact that I should have below tile brackets on my roof (Ceiba advised at that time that if we did not do this then they would not do the job because they knew it would cause problems in the future for me). They then took me by the hand through the application process (Scottish Power were very slow) However we agreed a date of 6 August 2025 for a three-day installation & commissioning process. I was absolutely blown away by the knowledge and expertise displayed by the installation team, they patiently answered what was probably stupid questions & made sure that they cleaned up behind them & removed every bit of waste. Outstanding! In summary, don’t waste your time going through the pain process, understand you will pay slightly more for top of the range products & service however you will be delighted at the end of the process . Well done to every single person at CEIBA for outstanding customer service .

Installation of Solar Array with Tesla Powerwall3 and single Expansion pack.

CEIBA are based in Glasgow and I'm in Livingston, West Lothian. From initial query to finished install it was 13 weeks. This did include an unavoidable delay waiting for the Distribution Network Operator to give their permission to go ahead, after having charged me their £300 fee for the privilege. CEIBA handled all admin matters promptly by e-mail and sometimes phone. They are a family-run business with a small well-organised staff. The people I met at my home were always courteous and respectful. They clearly all knew what they were doing and deferred to my wishes where appropriate. Supply and fitting Costs (as quoted in March 2025): SunPower 8x450W panels (£6.6K), Powerwall3 plus Gateway2 (£9.6K), Expansion pack (£6.5K). Zero VAT rated. I would wholeheartedly recommend CEIBA. You will be in good hands.

Solar Panels and battery installed in the agreed time frame. Neat and thorough job by polite staff. All looks great. Good aftercare in explaining to us how to manage our system. One week in and it's working beautifully. I recommend - they 'll pick the best kit and understand how to install it properly in a way to that will suit your property.

Best products and amazing team

From start to finish the whole team were so helpful, even though there were lots of delays from my side. They were super helpful and patient in dealing with all my problems. Powerwall 3, and Sunpower panels now installed and working brilliantly. Can't remember the names of everyone that I have dealt with but can only say that I have been so impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of all the team. But thank you William for you patience and Simon for your great work on site.

Exceptional workmanship and service

Ceiba’s exceptional workmanship and service made my experience flawless. From the moment I contacted them to the installation of the Powerwall 2 battery, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Ceiba and will definitely use them again in the future. Simon and Ryan, the engineers, were exceptional. They were a joy to work with and truly know their stuff.

We had upgrade of solar PV installed in 2012

We had solar PV installed in 2012, then in 2018 Ceiba installed the Solar Edge system and a Tesla Powerwall battery. They were friendly, efficient and helpful and when we had a problem a couple of years ago they came out promptly and fixed it (a faulty trip switch). We had a second battery installed in January 2025 (to store cheap overnight energy for our new heat pump), again Ceiba came promptly at the time planned and carried out the work efficiently and tidily. On 24 December 2024 we had an inverter breakdown, took time for Solar Edge to send a replacement which has now arrived. Ceiba have kept me well informed and it is now due to be replaced next week, and I have every confidence this will go as smoothly as before.

Completed service m the initial detailed site visit

From the initial detailed site visit, Ceiba provided a top class, professional service. Technical explanations and advice helped with the task of choosing the final system. Installation was carried out as promised within the advised timescale, and all work completed satisfactorily and neatly with 100% clearup. Post installation service and advice was unstinting.

Knowledgeable, professional, good work ethics

The panels installation was well managed. They made sure we installed all the apps to be able to monitor the system and helped with the excess energy export application too.

Exceptional service

Delighted with the professional service from Ceiba Renewables. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and diligent, providing us with all the advice we needed with a recent renewables installation at a new build property. Delighted with how the project was managed from initial consultation through to the final installation.

I had a fantastic experience using Ceiba. I picked them as they are approved installers of the brand of solar& battery I wanted after research. They provided a brilliant service from start to finish, professional, polite, very responsive. They truly understand their product so you feel at ease while they install. They also troubleshot with another company to work out how to link the solar system to a water cylinder which they hadn't done before...but persisted until the system was working as expected. I really can't fault them, you get what you pay for.
