Unfortunately stretching to 1 star for Osbourne Energy. My experience to date - extremely unsatisfactory. From my very first interaction with this organisation, there has been a consistent lack of engagement, urgency, and un-willingness to provide meaningful support. Core issue continues to be misunderstood or deliberately disregarded. Going by reviews (not positive ) cannot believe such a company can continue to operate in this day and age. Obsourne Energy your customer service is extremely weak - maybe it's time for some reflection.

Avoid this company. Dangerous requirements given to me by Lauren Alcock. Very poor service particularly from Lauren Alcock who asked me to risk my familys life by her unreasonable and impossible requirements. She also changed her goalpost requirements and wanted me to further risk my family life. Lauren Alcock also gave incorrect information on CIGA despite hard proof from CIGAs website. Director Raymond Osborne and other senior management staff Emma completely ignored this issue despite contacting them with evidence and giving them a fair opportunity to rectify the problem which they ignored.

Were supposed to give neighbours notice to move a structure and didn't, so only carried out some of the work and left the biggest problem wall untouched. Helped themselves to the entirety of my water butt's, then stole my watering can??

Pretty poor performance

Pretty poor performance. Osborne Energy basically seem to tender for LA contracts and then subcontract the work out to various other companies to fulfil. I live in East Sussex but insulation extraction works were carried out by a company from Sheffield together with a variety of other companies who provided repointing works and scaffolding. There was bad communication between the various companies and whilst communication between Osborne Energy and myself was initially encouraging, it turned out that I would be likely to find less bull**** in a field full of bulls. Interesting snippets of conversation were also overheard from operatives working on the building relating to how poorly they were being paid and how the materials being used were substandard. The language used by one builder was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend Osborne Energy based on my experience.

Would select 'no stars' for this company if I could. Negligent installation of loft insulation on behalf of British Gas caused damp and mould in the upstairs rooms of our house and the company is unwilling to do anything about it due to the warranty only being for 12 months. Reputable companies would not stuff the insulation into the eaves causing damp problems. Apparently, the eaves should be left clear for ventilation purposes. This was not done (amateurs) and they have absolved themselves of all responsibility due to the fact for the last 10 years we had put all the damp issues down to faulty double glazing (which we are due to replace in the New Year). Only on having the double glazing surveyed this month was the cause of all the issues identified as poorly installed loft insulation. Avoid this company at all costs - they are amateurs and don't know what they're doing. Find a reputable alternative.

Unprofessional and inhuman company. They made me sign over my Eco grant 11 month ago and have still not installed a boiler and they are aware I have no heating and hot water for more than 11 month, and they do not respond to formal complaints. Please be advised the government Trustmark logo is no guarantee for decent professional customer service.

I had a problem with my bathroom sink which leaked water, which in turn leaked into the kitchen and ran down the walls and across the ceiling, we had several quotes from different companies all of which were for removal of the kitchen ceiling and replacing the pipework then put back ceiling and re plaster all of which was the near £1000 mark. Id seen a leaflet come through my door recently for boiler servicing from a company called osborne energy and I wondered if they would undertake my plumbing job, much to my suprise at the time they did. John came round and I told him what the problem was, he came up with a solution that was missed buy the other companies, he ran a new pipe from the basin along the wall through the external wall then along the house and into the waste pipe. We also mentioned that the bath was running slowly so he replaced the waste water pipe in the same fashion. In addition to this we had our bathroom taps replaced (taps purchased from Amazon £23.00). All this work was done for half the price if the other companies. Im glad I took the chance on this local company. Well done.

A poor experience overall. Osborne Energy were quick to respond to emails and take my initial payment, but extremely slow in achieving anything else. I waited many months after my assessment to hear anything back from them, and I was passed around from person to person whenever I called and given silly excuses as to why things hadn't been done. I wish I knew it before I contacted them, but you can use any green deal assessor, not just what is recommended by your Borough. Find a list of approved assessors on the Department of Energy and Climate Change website.
