I had my solar panels, battery and inverter installed by Kembla in May of 2025 and am very pleased with their service and the performance of the installation. The initial contact with Kembla's sales team was professional and efficient, with the customer service contact arranging a home visit in a timely manner. He listened to my expectations and provided a quote that reflected my needs. All technical questions I had at this stage were answered. Once I had placed the order, they moved very quickly, gaining the electricity export licence far sooner than I expected, meaning the installation could be completed in good time to maximise the summer sun. The project management and installations teams were very good, with good communication all the way through the process. The roofers were quick and efficient and the electrical contractors were very good, ensuring that all cabling internal and external was routed in a way as to minimise the visual impact of any cables. They also ensured that the garage I had the battery/inverter installed in was made good again after the installation (shelves, sockets, racks etc repositioned and replaced) after installation. I actually ended up with a more organised garage than I had before the install! They talked me through the installation, how it worked and how to manage it in a clear way. Post installation follow up survey was completed by the customer services contact, who identified a very minor installation issue, which he organised to get rectified very quickly. Overall I am very happy with Kembla's performance and quality and am very happy with the performance of the system. My only improvement at this stage, after 6 months of use, is that it would be good to get a routine system operating performance summary sent to the customer so that I can see clearly that the system is operating to its specified level (especially important so that the customer can see there are no performance issues as the electricity generation inevitably decreases in the winter months).

The system is installed in our light industrial premises and is 34kWhp from 68 off 500W panels. From proposal to installation and commissioning we were kept updated with great communications, the teams were managed well and we are very pleased with the final results. We had 2 Zappi EV vehicle chargers installed as well for charging from excess solar. The system is working very well indeed and beyond our expectations. Well done to Kembla and their teams.

Really pleased we chose Kembla they we recommended by my brother who had a solar panel and battery installation a couple of years ago. The representative Daniel came and visited our property took appropriate details and accessed our Solar panel/battery needs and electric car charger point installation. Daniel quoted within a day and supplied all the relevant facts. Solar panels/battery and car charger were installed in two days efficiently by clean and tidy scaffolders and electricians. I would definitely recommend this company

It’s been a year since Declan and the team at Kembla installed our 5.2kW system with 9.2kWh of battery storage. We had a few minor issues during our installation but everything was dealt with brilliantly by Declan. Their electrician, Stewart, was amazing throughout as were the roofers, scaffolders and the supporting staff in the office. Best of all, Kembla gave a great price for the whole system and installed a bespoke setup for us as we didn’t want the usual GivEnergy solution. The aftercare has been excellent with Declan coming to site when needed - you can’t always say the CEO of a busy company will personally visit you! A year later and our system is performing well, saving us plenty of money and reducing our carbon footprint. Definitely use Kembla for your solar projects, I’d recommend them to everyone.

Having spent a lot of time researching and obtaining quotes from larger energy suppliers, I finally spoke with Declan and decided immediately to proceed with Kembla. The service was more consultive and personal with the final proposal being much better suited to our needs and pricing was competitive compared to other quotes. I had a prompt installation scheduled in which started and ended on-time and stress free. The whole extended team of installers at Kembla are highly professional and personable and I am very pleased with the final result. Dealing with a local, and professional installer was the best decision I made and I would highly recommend Kembla to anybody considering a solar installation.

I did a lot of research before I decided to go ahead with a solar installation. I had estimates from a few companies and judged them by their technical knowledge, installation history and finally recommendation and 'feel good' factor. Kembla were a stand out choice for me, but as a final check I asked them if I could contact one of their customers. I had a site visit to the customer and he confirmed what I'd already thought and so I placed the order. Installation was neat and pretty fast and apart from a couple of very minor hiccups, the system has performed as expected for the last 12 months. We chose dark panels so that the panels would not be conspicuous, (important to me and my neighbours); the connecting cable from the panel to the battery installation was done by cantenary, much neater than wall run cables. The installation has now been in operation exactly one year and has produced 5,498kwh from a 5.7kw almost south facing array - I’m rather pleased with that! I can thoroughly recommend Declan and his team at Kembla. A reliable, neat installation coupled with good advice and impeccable after sales service. You won’t do better….

Recommended by a friend when obtaining quotes, Kembla were not the cheapest however they listened to my concerns on me wanting a neat and tidy job. I had certain specifications on the routing of cables etc I wanted. I found them to be very professional and proactive in their work throughout. They regularly kept me up to date on work times and schedules. Declan and his team delivered everything promised and more. Regular communication and prompt times of work…. Outstanding service …. Needless to say you get what you pay for.

Used Kembla for a 6kw 15 panel and battery system install. Dealt with Dan kept me informed every step of the way and the workmanship and contractors were excellent. Tidy installation, courteous workforce and exceeded all my expectations as a newcomer to solar energy. Will highly recommend to anyone wanting to make the carbon saving switch

It is rare these days that a company exceeds your expectations but Kembla did. Everyone we dealt with was polite, knowledgeable and courteous. The electricians and roofers were all very professional and all in the Kembla office were efficient and timely. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to install a solar system.

I have had two solar systems fitted by Kembla. Firstly at my pharmacy, then I liked it so much that I got it installed at home as well. Both systems were installed quickly with very little disruption, the handover was well managed and the aftercare was excellent(I had an issue getting my SEG payments set up and Declan help me get them set up) The apps provided with the systems enable me to track my usage remotely and are easier to use than my smart meter for tracking my general usage as well as that produced by the panels and stored in the battery. Overall my energy usage has dropped significantly and they are on course to pay themselves back very quickly. I would thoroughly recommend Kembla as your solar system installer - take it from someone who liked it so much he got two!

Just had 17 panels bolted to rear of house roof, an inverter and 9.5kw battery fitted. Installed ahead of planned date all works well. Communications by email or phone is good and paperwork came quickly. Installation team were quick and neat took all rubbish away, they even replaced some of my roof tiles that were cracked. All done in a day.

We had a Solar & battery installation in May by Kembla and the process from start to finish went smooth as clockwork, from the quote to final install all the team at Kembla we dealt with were top class always at hand to answer any questions or query’s. Very happy with the installation and the products Kembla recommended. We had solar panels, battery storage and a car charger put in, everyone turned up when scheduled and did a good job. There was one slight issue identified after commissioning but it was dealt with promptly and everything has been working perfectly since, we are very happy.

It was a great experience working with the Kembla team. Declan put up with my various phone calls and many questions, always polite and very considerate. We got a very detailed plan, cost breakdown and solar payback estimate. Post install, the handover paperwork has been dealt with promptly, giving me what I need to set up my export tariff. Kembla even accommodated us having the scaffolding put up a little earlier so we could have some other roof work done at the same time!👌 The installation team were excellent, super knowledgeable and very friendly. The install is really tidy too 🧹 We’re super happy with our GivEnergy Gen 2 Hybrid Inverter and Battery. Couple of niggles which were working through with support from GivEnergy and Kembla 💯 Already seeing huge savings, this system + Octopus Go are a winning combo. I had solar panels and battery installed by Kembla in November this year after ordering in mid July. Very happy with the work carried out, system works brilliantly and they did a nice tidy install. Really can't fault anything. Communication is also great and they respond to emails and calls quickly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a solar install.

We had Kembla to install Solar PV with battery storage at our property earlier this year. I am very happy with everything from start to finish. The team are knowledgeable, helpful, and helped me to design a system that met my needs and included features that I wanted. The price was reasonable and the installation is very neat and tidy. Not to mention, will have saved a vast amount on our electricity bill over the course of the year. With energy prices as they now are, I believe the payback period will be short and the installation well worth doing.

Very professional service and installation from start to end. Their proposal was thorough and clear, multiple options provided. The installation went smoothly, everything worked like an oiled machinery, they (sales, engineers, electrician) surely work together for a while. The result was of high quality, even the tiniest details. 4 months since installation, I had zero problem.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Declan came out to undertake a survey and visit our property and was respectful of our house being a new build and us not wanting significant disruption to the fabric. Everything was explained in detail to make sure we were completely happy before we went ahead. The price quoted was competitive with others we had. We have had a 6kw PV system, GivEnergy Hybrid Inverter, 8.5kw GivEnergy battery and Zappi EV charger. The panels were carefully chosen to fit in closely with our existing dark roof and with the solar skirt fitted has left a professional finish to the panels. The electricians contracted by Kembla were also excellent and spent time and effort to achieve a professional and tidy installation. We have had the system working on our south facing roof over the summer and the performance and savings have been well worth while in the face of increasing energy costs. We would recommend Kembla and have overall been highly satisfied with the service received.

Superb experience from start to finish. Declan came round and did a proper survey and explained everything thoroughly to make sure we were completely happy before going ahead. Within a few weeks it was installed and commissioned including battery storage. The panels are pure black and look amazing (probably better than the roof itself). Nothing was too much trouble and the after sales service and support is second to none! If you are looking to get solar, Kembla are a highly reliable and excellent choice.
