ESP Energy fitted solar PV panels and solar thermal panels for us in 2012. A high pressure hot water system and three coil hotwater storage tank was also fitted and has worked perfectly ever since. I called today to make enquiries about upgrading our system and was given superb advice and recommendations as to what to do. I would highly recommend this company.

I needed meter renewals for my biomass boiler. These were ordered for me by Hannah, who communicated with me well and gave me a fast slot once they were received. I found Adam, the engineer, to be very efficient, knowledgeable and very competent at what he was doing. He also sorted my WiFi connection to the boiler out, so all working good again. As the company also deals with solar panels I think I have found a competent company to call on for future services and breakdowns.

We have been dealing with ESP Energy since moving to Shropshire 4 years ago in 2021. Just before Christmas ('25) our NIBE heat system failed, leaving us without heat or hot water for 28 days, in our very rural location. But ESP were there for us, first trying to fix our failing system at the end of its life and then against all odds, obtaining a brand new NIBE replacement system AND fitting it by December 23rd. I can't praise them enough for sorting us out at this critical time of year, we are extremely grateful. We have been impressed with ESP throughout our 4-year relationship with them, covering both our heating and our solar panel system but this went above and beyond. The entire team are super to deal with: they are technically competent, friendly, flexible and reliable. Special thanks on this occasion to Adam who installed and set up our new NIBE system. We have no hesitation in recommending ESP Energy, thanks guys.

I had a problem with my solar system I needed to put in a new WiFi and password I looked up find a trader and found a solar company called E S P in Shrewsbury I was put on to Ross he sorted me out with the WiFi very pleasant nice chap. I would definitely use this company for repairs new installations fantastic service

ESP have been great. They have installed solar panels on a shed roof, all aspects of sales, installation and after service have been fantastic. Very quick to sort out any technical glitches and have even taken over the solar on the house roof, as previous supplier was not answering the phone. Many thanks ESP.

Just got a new battery fitted to our existing panels - whole process was extremely efficient from start to finish. All queries were answered swiftly and comprehensively, and the work was done neatly. New system is up and running, and after-sale service has also been great.

After last winters storms

After last winters storms, we had several solar panels blown off. I contacted a firm that we had spoken to at cereals event, they came up and told me that about 30 panels were either off or damaged and that it would be in the region of 20 to 30 thousand pounds. They told me that they could not test to see if any ones would work until they were back in position. I then saw an advert inthe farm trader for ESP so i gave them a ring and to cut a long story short, they replaced 4 panels with 2nd hand ones for les than £6,000. they tested all panels while removed and found that it was only 4 that were too badly damaged.

Everyone at ESP has been helpful knowledgeable and gone out of their way to help. I lost hot water and they didn’t hesitate to send someone out that afternoon an hour away after a call at 2.30pm. As a result they also gave intelligent advice on how to economise on the ever increasing electricity bills on a very complex heating system. Thank you for your help !

ESP energy understood exactly what was needed from a solar panel and battery system. They provided excellent quality up to date goods at a fair price . They were quick and efficient with installation with an experienced friendly team. The back up is also excellent and knowledge exceptional. I would definitely use their services again without hesitation.

ESP has been servicing my ETA pellet boiler for 2 years and have been reliable and efficient. They also did a grand job on my central heating pipework which now operates very efficiently. I will continue to use them for all my plumbing and heating tasks.

ESP have looked after our biomass boiler for many years and have always done an excellent job. They have just topped this service by coming out to repair a breakdown over the weekend at very short notice!

Most of us have had problems with tradesmen whether it not turning up, leaving mess or not doing the job properly. Richard and his company EPS gave outstanding service and I would highly recommend them. I arranged for our solar thermal system to be serviced by ESP. The telephone booking was friendly and professional and I was given the name of the engineer who would be undertaking the service. Richard telephoned when he arrived as we have limited access and he was happy to park on the roadside even though this meant he had to bring his tools down a long driveway. Richard was extremely considerate, offering to take his boots off, he diagnosed the problem straight away and had all the specialist equipment to get us going again. Richard was friendly, professional and a credit to his company.

ESP Energy installed a PV array several years ago which has now been supplemented with Sigenergy battery, car charger and new solar hot water tank. Although I thought I had a clear idea of what I wanted, in discussion with Ross I confirmed a modified arrangement. The entire process from enquiry, quotation, and installation was completed effortlessly. Perhaps the easiest technical project I have undertaken, of which there have been many. if you need a one stop shop for renewables look no further.

We have just had solar, 18 panels and battery, a Sigenergy 18kW with Gateway fitted by ESP. The whole team have been exceptional working a very long day to catch up after some poor weather on the first day. The whole process has been stress free and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

The expertise and professionalism of the whole team at ESP has been top notch throughout, from advising on the right system for us and sorting out all the necessary applications, to an organised and tidy installation (despite some quirks on our property!) and smooth handover - the whole experience has been great!

I've worked with ESP Energy for the last 10 years. They initially installed my ETA biomass boiler, have serviced it since, and recently installed a solar pv system for me. I repeatedly use them as I am extremely happy with the service, support and high quality of workmanship they provide.

I decided to go for a solar PV and battery installation by ESP after speaking to a couple of neighbours; one of whom had recently had one of their systems and seemed very pleased with it, and another who was slightly ahead of me and had decided to go with ESP too. I also liked the fact that that ESP are very local to me. I was really happy with the process of working with ESP from start to finish. I asked for quotes for various permutations of panels and batteries and whilst, with roof space constraints, there was no clear perfect combination, the information provided made it easier to make my choice. The battery system I decided on, Sigenergy, is modular so can be easily expanded if I wish, and can have an EV module to enable fast charging if I ever get an electric vehicle. Everyone I had dealings with was helpful and friendly, from the office team, through to the scaffolders, installers and electricians, and my requests for the siting of the batteries and various boxes were all met cheerfully. I appreciate that my installation started right at the beginning of the summer holidays, but ESP managed to complete the installation in what I thought was a very reasonable timescale. I also had a new consumer unit and an EICR test in addition to the solar PV and battery installation, and am really pleased that thanks to their hard work I now have a fully up-to-date and tested system. As a last minute request from me ESP also kindly supplied and fitted a diverter to the immersion heater, and I was really impressed that despite me asking for a price for supply and fitting of one of the very well known makes, they suggested and supplied a different type that appears to do exactly the same thing e.g. it can supply anything from a few hundred watts right up to the full rating of the element, at a vastly reduced cost, and with a ten year warranty. The only difference I can see is the lack of an app I would probably rarely use. Thanks to all concerned.

ESP Sales and Service Ltd designed and installed an 11.6kWp east-west array on our garage barn roof. I was looking for a local installer, who we could work with to design a system to take account of a number of complexities - not least working on a listed building, and ESP came recommended by a colleague of mine. A number of layout options were considered, ESP worked within the constraints of the listed status and the architect's design, trialling a new (to them) installation system to accommodate portrait and landscape orientated panels (all black), installed 'in roof'. The installation had to be staged to align with the garage rebuild programme, with final commissioning several months after the panels were completed, which added extra complexity. ESP has also now installed a Zappi EV charger, which integrates beautifully with the SolarEdge system; I will be getting them back in the coming months and years to add to our solar ecosystem with house storage batteries etc. Overall - professional and high quality workmanship from the entire team, from design to the roof installation, to the wiring and commissioning - very highly recommended.

I had requested a quote in June and was advised of 4 week delay due to demand on solar panels quote. Now in September I am still waiting, no response from sales manager, although reception staff have attempted to chase. Good service?

Energy Supplier I WILL DECIDE

Conned on my doorstep by a very nice girl to talk to someone from Esp. A bit persistent on the phone. They get your monthly price from your current supplier and yes they will all come a bit cheaper just to get you with them. No i will stick with SCOTTISH POWER. I will research and decide myself if i want to change supplier. They will all put there prices up, they all need profit, they get there money out of you one way or another. My advice is if you are happy with a supplier stick with them. Constantly changing is just a pain in the butt. Preferred it when it was just British gas and Hydro electric. END OF. Don’t need people coming to my door pestering me.
