Solar panels and battery

We have had solar panels and a battery installed by certified renewable in november 2025. We were told that they will work "a little" during the winter but really show their worth in the summer. I must say I'm very impressed as over the christmas period our electric bills have dropped dramatically so I am very excited to see how well they do in the summer. The service we got from the whole team was exceptional, including some after care questions I had for Ben. I reached out to Ben outside of normal work hours, and he replied immediately. This company really cares for its customers and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need.

I feel it is worth saying that in my experience Certified Renewables are a very easy company to deal with, if you are considering the installation of renewables then I would have no hesitation in recommending them for an honest, knowledgeable, no pressure discussion and quote.

Ben was amazingly patient explaining the costs, efficiency and process of installing an air source heat pump. We have had it a year now and our house is warm and we have plenty of hot water. (I had my doubts!) It is very quiet and has been easy to operate. I thoroughly recommend Certified Renewable Solutions.

My experience with Certified Renewables was excellent. I first contacted them through Instagram and Ben replied to me immediately and set up a call same day to go through my options and what I would like to have fitted. Recently had a daiken Ashp installed - install went smoothly and a special mention to the installers who were polite and helpful throughout the whole installation. Price was competitive and after sales was even better. A special mention to Ben who took time out on a Sunday and came to explain and optimise the system. Sam was great also and took care of all the paperwork and grant applications. Would definitely recommend certified renewables if you are looking for Ashp.

Ben patiently helped me to decide the best way forward. I decided to add a battery to my existing solar panels. The engineer came on time and was quick and tidy and talked me through the app afterwards. Sam moved me to the appropriate tariff and set up the operating times for the battery to suit my needs and the solar panels. He will reset these every six months. Solar PV and battery installation

Where to start, Ben and Sam provided me with a PV and battery system when working with their previous company and arranged for me to be put on the best tariffs at the time. The system has performed above and beyond my expectations and I'm really happy with it. I have since had them, as certified renewables, increase my battery storage. There is one minor ( and I mean minor) niggle with the system, which was a shortfall from the previous company, which they are in the process of attending to. Both Ben and Sam are easy people to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to other people. For reference my system was installed in October 2024. A quick update on 9th Dec 2025. The installation issues, which were all down to wiring errors from the original installation have now been remedied and the system works as hoped. The changeover from grid supply to battery supply is extremely quick. We tested the changeover 4 times, 2 from grid to battery, and 2 from battery to grid and only 1 clock in the house noticed any of the changeovers, which suggests that the changeover is taking less than 1 cycle of the grid. My thanks to Sam,Ben, Lee and the crew for sticking with it, even though it wasn't their mess to sort out.

They know what is to be done. I don't remember their name. But honestly if anyone considering to have solar should think of this company and I am sure will remember my few line. Efficient and Friendly

I chose Certified Renewable Solutions because it is a local firm and Ben was extremely helpful and knowledgable when he came to discuss adding batteries to our existing solar panels. Lee, the chief engineer, was efficient when installing the batteries and corrected a wiring error from the original solar panel installation (by a different firm). Sam, Ben and Lee were all friendly and helpful.

So so pleased with our ASHP! We were sceptical that it could work with our older house, and heat our water to a high enough temperature for radiators and showers but Ben assured us it would and he was absolutely right! Ben was amazing explaining the installation process, and answering our endless questions, and Sam was very efficient organising all the warranties and paperwork. My solar panels and batteries were install in 2020 by the experts who now make up Certified Renewable Solutions. in January a much older insulation needed upgrading and this was carried out quickly and efficiently by them. As an extra service my batteries were checked and a two tier payment system arranged, as a free extra service which I had not considered. This is typical of this business going the extra mile to ensure a happy customer.
