Alba were very helpful and approachable from initial enquiry right through to installation of my home battery system. Queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently including some very prompt remote troubleshooting of the software just after installation. On the whole I felt valued as a customer, just as it should be with a family owned independent installer. Something that is often missing from the larger operations.

We recently commissioned Alba Heat & Power to install solar PV panels and a battery storage system at our Scout Hall. From the initial consultation through to the final installation, Alba exceeded our expectations - the team were very professional, knowledgeable and joy to work with. Communication was clear, everyone arrived on time and the site was left spotless following the installation. The panels look great and we're already noticing a difference in the amount of electricity required from the grid despite the weather not being that good. Our installation of 16 Aiko solar panels, Sigenergy 5kWH Hybrid inverter and 6kWH Battery storage system was completed this week, the installation team were very efficient quickly had the whole installation commissioned in a couple of days. Our battery charges throughout the day and discharges at night enabling us to only use a fraction of the grid electricity that we used to. A huge bonus is any surplus electricity is transferred to the grid and we get a payment for that which will offset our gas use. A great company with a great product.

I am very happy with Alba's work. After their first visit, they produced an imaginative solution for the site. In comparison with other suppliers their overall price seems reasonable and the quality of their panels and batteries seems excellent. They have been prompt and efficient and the installation work appears to be first class. Ryan has been very helpful through this process and has answered all of our questions and concerns.

Alba are a breath of fresh air. Responsive, reliable, clear communicators and competitively priced. They fitted a solar systm for us in less tha two days with no fuss and were completely professional throughout. The Eco Alba Ltd Team has just installed and commissioned a 6.5kWp Solar PV System with 14 x Aiko 465w Solar Modules, Sigenergy 5kW Hybrid Inverter and Sigenergy 5kWh Battery Storage System. Installed in a 1 day vice the anticipated 2. A cracking team of professionals; focussed and diligent. Everything is functioning brilliantly. Well done lads.

Alba were everything I wanted in an installer. * Current technology - when getting quotes from other installers, check the panels on offer by Alba. Alba seem to be using some of the most recent panels available, even during my engagement with them, they changed to a newer panel which was the same price and more efficient. The quotes I received from other installers were for older and less efficient panels. * Efficient - they were able to start my install a few days early because they had completed their previous job early. They got though my install quickly without issues. * Communicative - The initial discussions with Ryan made me feel comfortable and when Wayne was on site doing the survey he talked through a lot of things and I asked a lot of questions. When the installers were on site they were keeping me informed of the progress. From the initial engagement to the install and post install support they have been great. * Professional and High Quality - At no point during the process with them was I concerned about the company or the quality I would receive. The overall install is neat and tidy. Overall, I would recommend Alba to anyone who is considering getting a solar system installed.

We need more companies like Alba. From start to finish they have been excellent we have solar panels fitted and a battery all up and running in one day. The whole team have done a fantastic job after they were finished working outside/underneath and in the loft , they left our house spotless cleaning every area as they went along. Polite happy to please and always knowing the answers to my many many questions about the whole process from ordering to installing. After lots of research into solar power they came across as professional and knowledgeable on all aspects without pushing for a sale.I cant recommend them enough.

A great solar, battery, and EV charger installation from Alba. Just over 2.5 days in total. Very hands-off except for where my input was needed on the placement of the EV charger and the routing of the cable. The cable management looks really neat and tidy for the battery and solar (in contrast, I've seen some horror pictures online from other installers).

Absolutely first class company! Right from the outset when Douglas did the survey for the air source heating and solar panels...everything ran like clockwork. The guys that did the heating system worked flat out the whole time...not even stopping for coffee or tea! and they had a great sense of humour. The solar panel team were equally as good and the guy that was on the roof...worked the whole day through the pouring rain! They cleared absolutely every last crumb of rubbish after themselves....which is not usually the norm nowadays.....so efficient! We required an EPC and again Douglas was on hand to sort that for us too. Super super service from start to finish and will have no hesitation recommending Alba....and they were recommended to us...so that says it all. Well done Douglas and team!

Very very happy with my recent battery installation and connection to my existing solar array. From my initial consultation with Wayne and on-going communication with Ryan, I had confidence that the reviews on here were accurate and this would be a good company to deal with. I had to delay my installation by several months due to having to wait for a smart meter installation and that was no problem for them. The installation went smoothly with just a wifi connection issue to resolve which Euan came back to do the following day (and this was no fault of Alba as I've since found out there's a known issue with my particular battery and my specific mesh network). I've since hardwired the battery and Alba were good enough to keep me right with what I needed to do there. I'd have no hesitation recommending Alba, and have already done so to friends, and do plan to use them again as will likely add more solar panels and another battery.

Very happy with our solar install. We had panels on the roof and a battery in the garage. Ryan was very helpful in answering all my many questions about what we needed and why. During the two installation days the guys worked tirelessly. Our installation was complicated by access problems running cables into our garage but that all got sorted and the result was neat and tidy. Since installation we’ve not had to pay for any electricity from the grid, which is just great. I wish we’d done it years ago!

I just had 12 solar panels with battery system installed on my property, I must say from the minute I had dealings with Ryan I know I was comfortable to allow his team to install my solar system. The guys turned up on time, professional at there jobs and left my property clean and tidy, I'm very happy with the work manship as I myself was a roofer of 20 plus years so I understood what was happening on that side. Very smooth installation, high quality materials and high specification products. Took 3 days as agreed, they arrived each day at 9 and left at 4, no stress. Alba offers systems for flat roofs as well as sloping roofs (see photos). If you want to maximise your solar, battery storage and EV charging: you'll probably not find better. 5 Stars.

Very happy with Alba power. Seamless service, clear communication. Plenty of support, even started the Solar panels a day early and fitted an extra one on the roof. Plenty after care. Cheaper than big companies, supplied Duracell batteries and bifacial panels as requested. Would throughly recommend.

An excellent installation of 13 solar panels and battery by Alba Heat and Power. What an easy and pleasant process from start to finish. Ryan kept me up to date throughout the whole process. Recently had Alba come out again to fit a charger. They did a super clean job. Showed me how to work it and helped me configure my whole solar system to take advantage of octopus intelligence tariff. They fitted my solar and battery 12 months ago, which I have had no issues with. They helped me find what was best for my house. I have found they are always on hand to answer any questions. I met a number of other solar firms and got quotes but I found Alba to be the most straightforward to deal with. No sales tactics just the facts. I wouldn't have a problem recommending them after my 2 installs and 12 months of dealing with them.

Nothing dodgy about Alba in my experience and no, I’m not a friend. First class experience from initial visit to discuss our project through to installation and commissioning.

Professional, recommended

Professional, friendly, and efficient. Solar panels were installed in less than a day. Price was competitive vs. other providers and timeframe from contact to install was much faster in comparison to the other estimates. The installers were great and gave really useful information. Would very much recommend - we will likely use again for battery storage system.

Got in touch with Alba after another company let us down on the day of install. Ryan + Wayne were very helpful and managed to turn around our Solar PV and battery system very quickly. Communications regarding install etc were top notch and all very professional. Everything is up and running and appears to be working well. Would recommend :)

Dodgy. This other review is clearly written by a friend. I’ve been waiting since January for any kind of install. WORSE still is the fact they DONT have RECC insurance despite saying they do. Don’t pay by bank transfer or you aren’t covered. Dodgy dodgy company. I think they are going bust.
