Exactly as the process should be – right from start to finish Aventus Eco fitted solar panels, battery storage and an air-source heat pump, and the whole experience has been great. There was no hard sell from these guys, just lots of advice from people who clearly care about what they do, their business and their reputation. They took the time to get the design right for my home, including properly working out our power use and heat loss and sizing everything accordingly. The solar panels were a no brainer, but Aventus suggested right sizing the solar panels and adding battery storage. Home energy when the sun’s not shining – brilliant. It’s working flawlessly. The heat pump means I’m no longer dependent on global oil and I’ve cut my carbon footprint. Heat pumps get a lot of bad press, often due to hard-sell companies pushing numbers rather than doing the job properly. The difference here is the care Aventus put in, and the work they have done with Heat Geek and their accreditation process (check their Youtube videos). That was the deciding factor. None of the other companies I spoke to had it. It gave me real confidence everything would be set up properly — and it shows. Originally, I wanted to keep the oil boiler “just in case”. I’m glad I took the leap to ditch it and trust the Aventus design. The house is comfortable and warm throughout. Neat install, great communication, and they made the grant process easy. Great experience using Aventus Eco to install a Heat pump at our terraced home. Very efficient from start to finish from Sean & co, took 4 days and we’re really happy with how it’s working. Sean from Aventus was able to face time my dad and talk him through concerns about how his air source heat pump was performing during cold weather . Heat pumps done right

Thank you so much to Sean from Aventus Eco. His heating design, installation and handover have all worked out very well. He is knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and responsive if any issues arise. Going into winter with a couple of cold snaps (-4 degrees), the heat pump has performed brilliantly. During November, the system achieved an impressive energy efficiency (COP) of 4.26. The outdoor unit is silent — I don't know it's on unless I put my hand in front to feel the cold air being pushed out. I was also surprised that the unit looks good aesthetically too. The biggest change has been comfort of my home. This system is a dramatic upgrade from my old gas boiler, which struggled to heat my listed Georgian flat. I sometimes woke up in winter seeing my breath. Combined with some light insulation measures recommended by Loco Home Retrofit, my flat feels completely different. I found Sean through Loco Home Retrofit, who I'd highly recommend as well. If you’re looking for people who combine technical expertise with excellent customer service, go to Loco Home, and go to Sean. And if you're interested in being cosier and doing right by the planet, heat pumps are the way to go.
