We recently commissioned Alba Heat & Power to install solar PV panels and a battery storage system at our Scout Hall. From the initial consultation through to the final installation, Alba exceeded our expectations - the team were very professional, knowledgeable and joy to work with. Communication was clear, everyone arrived on time and the site was left spotless following the installation. The panels look great and we're already noticing a difference in the amount of electricity required from the grid despite the weather not being that good. Alba were very helpful and approachable from initial enquiry right through to installation of my home battery system. Queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently including some very prompt remote troubleshooting of the software just after installation. On the whole I felt valued as a customer, just as it should be with a family owned independent installer. Something that is often missing from the larger operations.

I am very happy with Alba's work. After their first visit, they produced an imaginative solution for the site. In comparison with other suppliers their overall price seems reasonable and the quality of their panels and batteries seems excellent. They have been prompt and efficient and the installation work appears to be first class. Ryan has been very helpful through this process and has answered all of our questions and concerns.

Very smooth installation, high quality materials and high specification products. Took 3 days as agreed, they arrived each day at 9 and left at 4, no stress. Alba offers systems for flat roofs as well as sloping roofs (see photos). If you want to maximise your solar, battery storage and EV charging: you'll probably not find better. 5 Stars.

Very happy with our solar install. We had panels on the roof and a battery in the garage. Ryan was very helpful in answering all my many questions about what we needed and why. During the two installation days the guys worked tirelessly. Our installation was complicated by access problems running cables into our garage but that all got sorted and the result was neat and tidy. Since installation we’ve not had to pay for any electricity from the grid, which is just great. I wish we’d done it years ago!

Absolutely first class company! Right from the outset when Douglas did the survey for the air source heating and solar panels...everything ran like clockwork. The guys that did the heating system worked flat out the whole time...not even stopping for coffee or tea! and they had a great sense of humour. The solar panel team were equally as good and the guy that was on the roof...worked the whole day through the pouring rain! They cleared absolutely every last crumb of rubbish after themselves....which is not usually the norm nowadays.....so efficient! We required an EPC and again Douglas was on hand to sort that for us too. Super super service from start to finish and will have no hesitation recommending Alba....and they were recommended to us...so that says it all. Well done Douglas and team!

Fantastic company and service

Best quote, happy to accommodate my request for Duracell solar batteries and bifacial panels, even managed to add an extra panel. Started a day early, good communication and after service. I would recommend Alba for your Solar needs.

Professional, recommended

Professional, friendly, and efficient. Solar panels were installed in less than a day. Price was competitive vs. other providers and timeframe from contact to install was much faster in comparison to the other estimates. The installers were great and gave really useful information. Would very much recommend - we will likely use again for battery storage system.
