Go green supplied and installed a battery in 2024. To function fully the battery has to be calibrated correctly. This is done by the manufacturer. Last year we raised an issue with Go green that our battery was not charging correctly. Unfortunately this was not resolved in 2025 and our 9.5kwh battery was typically reporting that it was fully charged when it had only taken in 2kwh. Go green had some initial success in addressing this issue but from October 25 they were not able to make progress. In January 2026 after much chasing of the manufacturer, by my wife, we obtained a checklist of things they wanted done before they would consider the issue. Go green completed the checklist spoke to the manufacturer and then said there was nothing more they could do. We were left to deal with the manufacturer. Fortunately a few days later the manufacturer agreed to recalibrate the battery which is now functioning as it should. I raised the fact that it had taken so long to get the battery working correctly with a Director of Go green. He maintained that Go green were merely the installer and if I said anything other than they were helpful throughout he would take legal action against me for damages.

Go Green installed for us a ground array of solar panels. They gave a very detailed quote, and answered my many questions thoroughly. The install team were very professional and friendly, and we are very happy with the result. I would definitely highly recommend them

We were interested in having a solar system installed on our recently acquired house for both environmental and financial reasons. Having requested quotes from three local companies, we chose GoGreen because of their thoroughness in responding to questions on their initial proposal including their help in deciding what combination of hardware would work best for us and their taking into account ethical considerations in their choice of panels. They also arranged for us to go and see another recent local installation of theirs and to talk to the home owner about their work. Having made our choice, we were fortunate that GoGreen had a spare installation slot only a month after we placed our order. The installation process (for 14 panels, a battery, a car charger and an energy diverter for water heating) took just over 2 ½ days and was straightforward. The installers were considerate and competent and the finished work looks good. Since commissioning, the panels have produced a decent amount of power (even in such a dull, wet September) and we are already extremely pleased that we decided to have a 10kW battery installed as this allows us to top up the power we get from the sun with cheap overnight electricity. We did encounter a few teething problems with both the car charger and the charging setting on the battery but Colin from GoGreen came out and sorted out the former and then communicated with SolarEdge (the battery and inverter manufacturer) who then remotely reprogrammed the battery to charge from the grid. Even though the SolarEdge and MyEnergi apps are both well designed and easy to use, it would have been very helpful to have received more on-the-spot help immediately the system was turned on, both to ensure that it was working as it should and that we knew how to get the best out of it. However, I would have no hesitation in advising others to install a solar system or in recommending GoGreen to do the installation.

We have had solar panels and battery fitted by Go Green Systems. Excellent service and team. They gave an initial quote based on Google map survey, then came and visited when we asked them to follow up. The second survey was more detailed and revised the quote down. We were only asked for a deposit at the point we signed the contract. I chose the company based on the quality of their work, that they were a long standing business and give a long follow up period for any problems. I felt I could trust Go Green Systems in comparison to their cheaper competitors. Highly satisfied with the explanations, patience while we thought it over, standard of work and efficiency of the team. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of installing renewable energy at home.

Excellent customer service from beginning to end, very friendly and helpful with no pressure to buy. Highly knowledgeable, professional, courteous and the installation was complete in a couple of days. Super pleased with the work and the panels are generating more electricity than expected, even on cloudy days. Just had the handover chat following a full install of panels, battery and car charger (just over 3 days). From start to finish, the whole team have been excellent; professional, polite, considerate and courteous. Following acceptance of their competitive quote, Go Green installed the 12 solar panels on our house quickly and efficiently, including a provision for prioritising their energy generation to our domestic hot water system. This has resulted in very significant reductions in our electricity bills over the past 2+ years

GoGreen agaves excellent advice about decreasing energy conservation . Once we had decided to go ahead with increased loft insulation and the installation of solar panels, they did the work thoroughly. We have had a problem with Solar Edge not working. One short phone call today sorted that issue out very quickly.

Excellent solar panel and battery installation Very good experience from start to finish and great to work with a local company. Really helped me make the right decisions at the design stage and instilled confidence. Installation was quick and efficient with no significant issues and a great bunch of workers. Go Green to care of the paperwork efficiently and helped me through the process of applying for an export tariff. System has performed flawlessly for nearly three months now and has exceeded my expectations.

Nothing was too much trouble & they explained everything clearly & advised their best opinions when I had a alternative action to consider. Great Company (our 4 Barns small estate all used them & had recommended the Go Green to me. Very pleased indeed. We used Go Green Systems to install solar panels for our business, they have been amazingly helpful through out the process and after they were installed. The online portal is easy to use and is great to see what we are now using and saving. I would recommend this company to anyone that wants to install solar panels

The company fully explained the installation process, carried out a. site inspection and information on costs expected generation of electricity from the project were presented as a quotation. The installation work was carried out in a professional manner with quality products and an excellent team of installers. I had the installation about eight years now with no problems. The power generated is exactly in line with the original estimate.and reduced my energy bills. Income from the installation as has increased by about 20% since the price paid per kWh has increased each year.

Excellent service and installation. We had them installed several years ago and Go Green did a great job designing and fitting our installation. Ours are ground mounted and they spent some time designing the best possible system, given our location and the different orientations we could have. The final layout maximises the generation we can achieve. Their after sales service has been excellent too. They have given us plenty of advice and support with no extra charge; always friendly and approachable. I have recommended them to friends and am happy to do so here to a wider public.

We had to wait almost a year between requesting a quote and the system being installed but it seems all reputable and fully accredited companies are snowed under with work. The scaffolding was erected the week before installation and the work itself took four days ( it didn't help that their surveyor got some measurements wrong which necessitated a redesign - extremely quickly done by Tom ). Staff sickness and availability led to the work taking so long - no problem to us as we are retired. System installation was first rate, all neat and properly labelled and the team were all very polite and helpful. App on my smartphone monitors the system performance and on sunny days the output more than meets expectations. What we are currently waiting for are system controls so that we can prevent the storage battery from discharging when we charge our EV, and also get the ability to charge the storage battery from the grid using cheap off-peak rates (useful if it's been a very cloudy day and solar hasn't fully charged the storage battery). Tom has raised the case with SolarEdge who have provided the inverter and storage battery. So far we have saved considerably on our electricity bill and very glad we chose to have a storage battery as part of the project. We switched to Octopus Flux tariff and are getting paid quite handsomely for excess energy being exported. In conclusion we are extremely pleased we waited for Go Green Systems and would fully recommend them to any other household wanting a solar installation.

We engaged Go-Green Systems to fit an array of solar panels on our roof, following the recommendation of a neighbour. From the first contact they were totally professional and gained our complete trust. The installation was completed promptly and as previously described - they even checked the condition of the roof and replaced a couple of broken tiles. The work was done promptly and competently with the minimum of fuss and intrusion, especially the fitting of the interior meter. The solar array has delivered as predicted. We were contacted some time after the installation to ensure that all was well and then later to recommend install an improved converter. For a company that was still relatively new, their work showed the performance of a company that was well established. We are pleased with the all aspects of the solar panel installation and would not hesitate in giving Go Green Systems our highest recommendation. Sometimes, five stars are not enough.

This was the fourth quote for solar PV we had. One we rejected because the salesman was far too pushy. Two others we hesitated over because they seemed just a bit casual or gung ho. Go Green were recommended locally, and there was a waiting list even to get a quote, but we persevered and were very happy with our choice. They were determined only to do a good job and not to cut corners (e.g. they insist that they will mount panels onto 34 mm rafters only if they can get access from inside an attic to reinforce them to avoid splitting the wood, and they trim tiles to allow the brackets to fit through without chafing), which suited us because it's our house and our roof they are laying hands on, and they were prepared to talk to us for as long as necessary and answer as many questions as necessary to make sure we got the system that met our needs. The quality of workmanship seems high, and when there was a slight glitch in one of the bits of kit they were very responsive. They weren't the cheapest quote but we were very happy to pay a bit more for the security of knowing we were getting a good job.
